Pam, yes I sprinkle flour down then roll it out. Then sprinkle flour on top of the dough so the cutouts will come out easily. Otherwise, it would all stick together.

Ashley, I love watching people make cakes and stuff. Totally fascinates me! :)

Also, the firmer the dough the better. So keep it in the fridge and just break off a little bit at a time to roll out. That way the cutouts will keep their shape.

Claudia, I just have so much fun watching Morgan and my brothers girls light up when I let them help me toss a party! Its GREAT! You should start little tradishions you'll be shocked how much Dani and Chris will look forward to them. Like Morgan knows that Friday night is "Fun Night" and we plan some thing fun like... bake cookies, go to the park, eat in the living room, let her pick out a movie at the libray, go for a walk in the woods. Just some thing out of the norm.

Buy baby pumpkins, I mean the itty ones, and paint or sticker faces on them. Stick black pipe cleaners out the sides to look like spiders, and use them for decorations.

Same here! I am planing what to cook so far I have pumpkin spice cake (got a new receipe out of "all*you" magiazine. And the night before Morgan and I always make candy apples. YUM'O Now I need to think what to serve as far as food.

Mmmm Pumpkin spice cake! sounds so good!
I made these little potato ghosts one year, just make mashed potatos and put them in a piping bag or ziploc and cut of the end. Then squish them out and give them some olive eyes! So very cute!
I'm doing either spaghetti or stew this year.
I can't wait till October 1st then I can bring out the Halloween decorations!

Lollypop bones
Get four tootsieroll lollypops and wrap the lollypop part with white crepe paper. Then take your lollypops with two on either end (sticks in the middle) and wrap the sticks all together with the crepe paper to make a "Bone" then you can make it into a placecard by writing your guests name somewhere in the middle of the "bone"

Here is the thing... because of Daycare problems, I have to drop the kids at 8 am (I used to leave them 7:30) and get to work 8:30, I HAVE to leave 4:30 because daycare closes 5 pm.... that means I am here only 8 hrs... and I am supposed to work 8 hrs/day.

Hopefully once we change daycares I can make it here earlier, and at least have 15 min to eat (I HATE eating in my desk)... but in the meantime, the boetch is not going to have ANYTHING against me!!

well this weekend is going pretty well..kinda odd though..last night we called the cops on the looker neighbors caue they let their two little dogs outside on their leashes adn they barked and howled for like over 30 minute..way more than necessary at 11:00 at night..so they cops warned them..than today were sittin outside and i hear from the neighbords on the corner "get back here you ran over my foot" so i glance down the street and sure as s hit there is a man laying on the curb screaming YOU RAN OVER MY FOOT..i see his i think gf maybe has left him..laying there..so i watch and dh watches and he crawls across the sidewalk lays there for a bit than to the steps and im like MATT he is trying to get up the steps so matt goes down ther eto help..sees he is trashed and apparently a run over foot so the two are making it pretty hard for him to do anything..he gets him on the porch and letts him use his phone to call for help..some lady come and gets the trashed man while we all just go huh odd..is it a full moon? than dh is cleanin ghis gun on the porch and hears three gun shots like 10 min apart form one anohter..he swears they are gun shots..this si soooooo not normal for our neighborhood..something is going on i tell you .. aliens?fullmoon? not sure..

so yeah thats my weekend so far

I had a crappy weekend. I got to rest, alone, for less than an hour. Dh was so dizzy, he couldn't even get up during the night to go to the bathroom, which left me awake all night with a night terrored baby. And, I need a shower, but I had to take care of Lex first, which left me lacking time. It's getting harder and harder to deal with his health and stresses. He won't go to the dr, but he wants to try his old neuro again. I don't know what to do.

The hardest part for me about the NS (aside from the price) was I still needed to make meals for Chris & DH, ya know? Then like eating out is kinda hard, though you could have a salad and that would be keeping within the parameters of the diet. I was real strict for about the 1st two weeks and then I loosened up a bit and started cheating a little on my meals. It worked great for me though. I NEED to get back on it myself. Money is just too tight right now though and Christmas is right around the corner! :shock:

Diet, what works the best for me is to decrease the amount of carbohydrates, increase proteins and vegetables, and work out... sucks because I have a DH who loathes healthy food and I barely have time to pee during the day, so when do I squeeze in working out???

I am looking at Christmas presents and Bday presents for my kids... I wish I could get them a kitchen, but honestly I do not have the space..... argh lets not go there because I get all upset.

I am bummed because we do not have Hobby Lobby here.... and they have lots of things I want...

Claudia, Let me see if I can find a picture of Morgans "little" kitchen. she has 2 one of them she got for Christmas its the Big one that talks and what not but she also has a small one that she got (both from my mom sigh..) for just a we love you gift. LOL But...its small and takes up very little space and Morgan likes it more than the big one because she can move it from room to room and I even let her take it outside on Saturdays. :)

Ok back from lunch, took a few pictures but keep in mind that my sticks are a work-in-progress.

So here is the wreath - I painted the pumpkins and added a little glitter and a cute spider and then found some cute ribbon and added the bow.
The creepy sticks - that still need a little pizazz from some black microfine glitter. I'm putting some on our mantle with a little black bat hanging off it and some I am putting in a clear vase filled with candycorn at the bottom for my centerpiece - those will have little spiders hanging off them.
And of course Yorik couldn't help but want a picture of himself too. I bought a cheap-o foam scull and blinged it up a bit - hey these things cost $20 at PotteryBarn and arn't half as big or snazzy.
And the Candycorn Tutu I made for my Neice. DD was just modeling it.

Morning Ladies!
I am so ready for the week to be over. I'm also ready for this dang headache to be over as well. Started yesterday afternoon and it's still here, oye! I went to work out yesterday an swore I could smell someone painting - no one else smelled it though. When I went home I was so sensitive to smells I couldn't finish painting my creepy sticks - bah!

At least it's thursday which means my work provides us with yummy breakfast goodies (Muffins, Bagels, Doughnuts, Fruit, Granola Bars etc...) So I'm gonna go get me some fruit in about 8 minutes.

Headaches and Migranes run in my family on my maternal side - I hope DD doesn't get them also - they are no fun at all. I have a Rx for them but I hate taking it because sometimes it makes it worse if you don't catch the headache early enough.
