Hey guys. I am dying at work today! Over the weekend the power went out in my building, so they just powered back up this morning and it is hot! The AC is going but it's taking a long time to get the building to cool. :ohno: I am miserable! Thank goodness I'm leaving for lunch in 15 mins.

I forgot to tell you guys...My "Miss Independent" teen has over drawn her checking account -$447. :ohno: She said she didn't know there was an overdraft charge every time she took money out! Now she won't have a paycheck to do anything with (gas, insurance, etc.) for about 4 weeks and I have to pay her car insurance! Life lessons...:eyebrow:

I am like NO WAY!!!, yes, he took the diaper off and did some playing :X so we had to clean carpet and give Chris a quick bath.... YUCK!!!:doh:

One of my coworkers had a baby couple weeks ago and she brought her in today.... AWWWW I want another one!!! :shocker:

Lynn, it's so hard when you get your first checking account! I did that myself a few times. I have just recently gotten pretty good about balancing my check book and keeping up with all transactions.

Claudia, Chris did the same thing to me this weekend! Only he didn't smear it everywhere, thank goodness. I was in the bathroom myself and he came knocking on the door for me to let him in, but I wouldn't because usually he just comes in there and plays in the sink and I wanted a little privacy. When I opened the door and saw him holding the poopy diaper, I felt like a jerk. :shame:

Hey guys! The AC is back to normal, thank goodness! I was so uncomfortable yesterday. :wtf: Apparently the building owner said the electricity bill is too high, so they shut off the AC over the weekend. Hello! That doesn't help any because then the AC had to run super hard all day Monday to try to cool the building. Hopefully they don't do that again this weekend.

Lynn, sorry about that. I know how you feel. DH always wants to spank Chris instead of trying to talk first. Drives me crazy! If you swat him and don't tell him what he even did, how is he going to learn a lesson? I'd rather do timeout and tell him why he's going there.

For diets, yes it is frustrating to see yourself fat and then try for a week and see no results.... your mind KNOWS that it takes a little more than that, but still you are heartbroken, so you think why bother???.... what about finding a picture of you when you were skinnier, and get into the "I have been there, I can do it again" mentality???

Candice, whenever I want to self sabotage, I think to myself, will I regret it later? And usually it helps me to not do it. Also, when it comes to working out, even if I don't 'want' to, if I am in debate about it, I just go out and do it, knowing I'll never be mad at myself for actually doing it, but I may be mad vice versa.

No lunchables here... because my kids are snobs and they mostly like food made from scratch. But I do give them ham & turkey from Oscar Mayer, and frozen fish sticks
and yes they eat fast food from time to time, and cookies and ice cream... but they also eat veggies and fruit

Mine won't eat veggies, but I offer them at every meal no matter what. Yes, he will occasionally have pb&j, and yes he will sometimes have a chicken nugget, but he's healthy.

cy likes lunchables..when he stays with my grandma i pick them up cause its easy for her to get for him..he also likes them as a treat in his lunch box at school..maybe once a month he gets them..

we do mcdonalds happy meals about 3-4 times a month..when were running to piano lessons and cy is freakign otu cause he is hungry..lucea calls it the nugget house..

We are always lost without you Sarah! But we just wish we could be with you on your big day! I have 40 minutes until lunch and I am starving! I forgot my lunch so I have to eat out but I am having a chick-fil-a grill sand. That wont kill the diet its only 270 calories. :)

I love to go on our campus and get a salad but man talk about bad for you! The way I eat my salad I might as well just sucked all the fat out of the fryers at McDonalds!

We just got a campus upgrade. The student center's nice AND healthy now! The cafeteria has amazing salads, soups, sandwiches, and they don't fry anymore. The cafes up front have chinese, home cooking, and a cafe that has baked goods and fresh things. Expensive up front, but faculty/staff get a discount.

$5 in teh cafeteria, anything you could want.

Hey everyone!

Ugh, I hate calling dr's offices! DH called MONDAY to push Chris' surgery back and they told him they would call either him or me back with a new date. They never called and today I get a call from the surgicenter giving me info about the procedure I'm having tomorrow. :eyebrow: Umm, that was supposed to have been canceled! So I called the dr's office just now and the freaking lady is at lunch so we had to leave another message. I told the front office I just want to make sure that it gets pushed back so they don't mark us as a no show, when we've been calling. So annoying! :headbang:

I live so close to my work that I can go home if I want to. Or I go to my dad's house and eat his food! :lol: I live like 5-7 mins from my work...I can leave my house at 7:45, take Chris to DC and still get to work by 8:00! Love it! Chris' DC is like 5 mins down the road from my work and about 2 mins from DH's work. :) I like my little city.
