Question for my christian friends (I may also post this in the Christian sec.)....
OK so I want Gods will in my life above any thing else. I have a hard time praying now and asking God for any thing because of this. For example... I want so badly to have a chance to get to know Mike one on one but I have a hard time praying about it because in the end I know unless its Gods will then it wont happen so why even ask. :( My prayer life stinks right now because of the whole "above all you must wants God's will for you life" I really want to pray God just this once let your will match up with mine so I can have a chance with Mike.

So, Sunday's are Chris' day with Chris (haha, maybe I'll call him DH so this doesn't get confusing :crazy:) and I actually made some loose plans for Sunday afternoon to go to the bookstore with my aunt. I can't take Chris and enjoy myself and actually browse because he would be wanting to run up and down the aisles, ya know? Well, we slept in late (12:00) and I thought it was weird that DH didn't call and wake us up because he usually does just that and calls to say he's on his way to get Chris. So, we get up and I call DH. No answer. Hmm, ok I'll call back in a few. No answer. :headbang:I had plans so I called him every 10 minutes for like an hour! He NEVER answered so I was getting pissed! Finally, I was just like I'm not going to let this ruin my day, come on Chris let's go do something. So we went and visited my grandma that is in the nursing home. While we there, DH calls. Mind you, it's like 3:00 now. :po: He says he just woke up and wants to know if we're home. Umm, no! I told him I'd call him when we got home, but really I just didn't want to yell at him in front of my grandma and aunt.

We left the nursing home and I called him and tore him a new one. I told him that he's a selfish SOB and I wasn't going to let him be playing these games anymore. Chris expects him on Sunday, so here he was letting Chris down and then not even calling to let me know what was going on. I had plans and they were ruined because he wanted to sleep all freaking day! I told him from now on, if he wants to see Chris, he needs to call me and ask for permission and not just be stopping by. I'm not going to put up with it anymore and I'm not going to let him hurt Chris. His response, "huh? What are you talking about?" :headbang: I hung up then.

This is the best part of the story: I get a text a few minutes later...
And I thought about coming back

I text him back:You can think what you want, but when is the last time I asked you to come back home? Exactly.

I eventually calmed down and let him come over to see Chris because I know it's not fair to Chris that DH is such an a$$hole. After a few minutes of sitting in the living room, he came and sat down beside me on the couch. :wtf: I was like, "what are you doing?" He was trying to hug on me and hold my hand. :crossed:No thanks! Eventually him and Chris left for like an hour and they got some time together and I got some alone time. I just still can't believe that he would text me that. I know he was just trying to hurt me, but it didn't work. I literally laughed out loud when I saw that.

Pam - Maybe you could pray and let God know that is what you are thinking but ask him that his will be done and that if it is his will to let you get to know Mike, so be it, if not, pray that he gives you peace in your heart over his will.

She is still hanging around with a POS loser that uses her for rides everywhere and doesn't have a job and isn't supposed to be around underage girls and is supposedly in a gang (but he's always with DD so I don't see when he has time to be in a gang) and talks to this other girl right in front of DD but DD won't dump his Ass! She deserves so much better but she doesn't have a positive self-image and I don't know why. I think she is beautiful and she has her whole life ahead of her, especially since this is senior year in high school!

My sisters wedding shower is my only plans.

Do you think my mom was out of line or my oldest sister.
Ok girls let me see if I can explain this right.
My sister (the older one) just got her Doctorate degree and my younger of the two sisters is getting married. My Dad thought it would be great to put both the wedding anoucement and the completion of there degree in the paper on the same week. He wanted to have "two of his four children in the paper at the same time" *also note that these are his bio kids the rest of us were adopted. Any way Mom took the the two pictures (both in color) and what she wanted written bellow it up to the paper office. She paid the same price for both spots in the paper and both pictures were to be printed in color. The paper forgot to print it! Mom had to call up there and remind them to put it in this weeks paper and they did get it in this time only... My sister who is getting married her picture was in the front section of the paper with wedding anouncements in color and my other sister was in the back section of the paper under the school section in black and white. My mom wasn't happy about it but said well... at least they got it in there. Today..... my older sister calls and is pictching a fit about having to appear in the paper behind LISA the sister who is getting married and how they alway put Lisa first and blah blah blah. My parents had no say so on how the paper sets up ther articals! Also she was mad that they paid extra so that Lisa could be in color when she had to be in black and white. She wouldn't even hear dad out that her picture should have been in color. GRR! She was supposed to be a bridesmaid but now she is saying she isn't coming! It should also be noted that this artical is in the "Lincoln Leader" our little home town paper out town's whole population is no more than 1,250 people its not like it went in the New York times for peat sakes!

I am so upset with her over this! Its not like her at all to be this big of a BRAT. Now I could see the younger sister tossin this kind of fit but Emily??? I just don't get it!

God is so good!!! I am so blessed! Sigh ... I was given a HUGE professional treadmil by some one in our church! Lisa's wedding shower I through went GREAT and I spent two night this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with Mike just talking until 11 (and btw I have found when you turn 30 11 o'clock is the new 2 AM LOL) We talked ane talked and talked it was GREAT. Still no date... but I am praying that God will help me stop trying to rush things until he is ready to make that step and enjoy what little time and attention I get. Last night was only the 2nd time he and I spent hours talking just the two of us (well Morgan was there and playing but not really around us until she crawled up on the love seat swing where we were siting and fell asleep).
I hope your all weekends were just as good as mine (inspite the drippy noses!)

I couldn't find ANYTHING!!! :wtf: We ended up getting her a skirt and 2 dresses... ummm and yeah, this is FLORIDA!!! we are not due for long sleeves, pants and SWEATERS until december (if lucky!!!)

I have a grily girl so dresses all the time would be fine with her LOL and it does make PT'ing a litte bit better to not have to pull any thing but panties down.
