Next week our family (DH, Emily, My parents and I) are going to Henderson, NV Emily's cousin Makena's 1 year Birthday party and I have to get a good bathing suit - I don't think I have worn one since my honeymoon! I hate bathing suit shopping, they are so expensive and you have to try them all on and who knows what size I am now. I hope I can find one that will hide my little mommy tummy pouch and one that will keep the boobies under control.

the other day this same coworker was cuttin her nails in her office and i could hear it..nutso..she is also the office snoop know it all..she is sooo nosy about what everyoen is doing..she talks about everyone behind their backs to everyoen else and doesnt realize we all talk to each other so we know what she does..the other day she was having issues with her file drawar and belive me we heard about it everyday and she said to another coworker something about the drawar teh coworker didnt hear her and just went about her business so the file drawar lady went to the boss and said "so and so ignored me when i asked her about my drawer" who does that..i mean we arent in the 5th grade..

I'm doing well...got the normal crying for no reason crap, which is driving me up a wall. Otherwise, I'm good. My little family is just so awesome. Aaron is doing well, the feeding issues stink, but we will keep working on them. He is sleeping lots, which gives me plenty of time with Manda. She is just an awesome little girl. DH is just the best. I don't know how anyone does this without a supportive hubby.

I think life is kinda starting to fall into place, don't know how it will go once DH is back at work...looks like he will go in Friday and Saturday, then have Sunday and Monday off...then back to normal, so not too bad. I can survive 2 days.

I'll get more pics up soon....just got some onto the computer.

Katelyn didn't have a nap at my Mom's yesterday so when I picked the kids up (yes, they were all at my parents yesterday afternoon, but my Mom fed them since DH is out of town) Katelyn fell asleep on the way home at 6:25 and slept until I had to pick her up out of bed at 6:00 this morning. Stacy - the birds asked about you! DH is not alone, he is with a guy from work and work pays for it, so its all good. Besdies they are working over night. He goes in to the store at 9 pm and usually gets done around 7 or 8 am and goes back to the room to sleep and do it all again!

Lynn he is pretty nervous i think..with his last ENT surgery he reallly fought gettin put to sleep which made it so hard on me..and the docs and anestitists :) i rememeber them saying IM GETTIN MORE GAS THAN HIM!!! cause he was freaking out..:( i talked to him about it this time and told him that i want to be in there with him when he goes to sleep but if he fights they might not allow me to be..his scooter should arrive today and we can charge it up and have it ready for tomarow..he is prety excited about that and my mom bought him a new spider man game to help him along..

ok i left this note for DH this morning..

"please check back yard everyday before you leave..when i have to clean up dog poop everyday it puts me in a crappy mood every evening..i dont want the job..this will help me be a happier person..love you"

Ok can i be a bit sad and upset for a moment..i went with my dad for lunch tody and we talked about my mom, we know she has been drinking he found bottles at home and asked her about them she said "she is trying" and my sister found alchohol missing from her house right after my mom had been there..so she is drinking again and it makes me so sad and angry..i dont think the once a week therapy is doing its trick, i think she needs more maybe not inpatient or 5 days a week but more..im lost what to do next, im usualy like the family go between who does all the talking and fanagelin and figuring out and i really want to call her therapist and say "what do i do" ya know..tell her were concerned we dont think she is doing well we arent sure if she is being honest with her therapist about her dirinking again..my dad says he will not allow her to get her liscense in may if she has not stopped drinking..well you cant really stop her but ya know..i refuse to drive with her or allow my kids with her if she does get it back in may..i wont do it if she has not quit drinking..i think that is very reasonable on my part to not stand for it..but what else can i do..im lost :( and sad abotu it all..i had such high hopes i knew inside it would be so hard for her and she would fall along the way but i realy hoped it would go better adn be easier for her..

Thanks for all the encouragement! My parents live close by and my dad is retired and my mom is still not released to go back to work after all the cancer stuff, but she is feeling great these days....so I know I can call them if need be. I know that I can do this, but I'm still having feeding issues with Aaron and that is my main concern lately. I am pumping like a mad woman and Amanda will have to watch a little more TV than I'd like in order to stay out of trouble while I do that. Hopefully, I will wake up in the am with big, huge, uncomfortable boobs!!!

I have been thinking more and more that I really would like to adopt. I know its crazy because I am getting so much older, but I really want Katelyn to have a sister or brother to play with that she can grow up with. It saddens me to no end that I didn't plan better. I feel like she is missing something by not having one. However, our place is too small and buying bigger isn't a reality right now. Also, DH isn't open to the idea of adoption. :(

Hey all.
I'm here, I'm here - just working like a dog. DH comes home tonight. Funny how Emily will sleep through the night when he is gone but not when he is home? He must make a lot of noise in our house or something.
My mom's a wreck though - her dog, Sophie, is not doing well right now. Mom didn't get any sleep last night and is watching Emily for me today. She has had both her cats die in the last year and my mom also has a heart condition that is exacerbated when she stresses or gets anxiety. I really hope that when my Dad takes the dog to the Vet they can do something.
On a positive note - I found a bathing suit, not my first choice but oh well it didn't break the bank (Why are bathing suits so gosh darn expensive these days? not to mention the stress we ladies go through just to find the "right" bathing suit to fit our mommy bodies)

Having dh issues last night and today. He got uspet with me last night for being out so long with the girls, and me not answering my phone. Today, everything's getting on his nerves, and he won't talk. Finances, cleaning, you name it... I'm frustrated and confused.

Hey ladies...Tara scared the crap out of me this weekend because I thought she had lost her mucus plug. Turns out it was just an irritated cervix from her first internal exam. I for sure thought we had a baby coming really soon. Since I had a CS I didn't have to go thru any of this crap so this is all new to me! LOL!!

Anyway, dr said he would induce 1 wk early at 39 wks due to the baby being big so if he does it exactly at 39 wk it would be 3 wks from today!!! We won't know for sure or get to schedule it until next thursday. It's getting so close.....

Well, I have one inteh library today at 2:30 and one in the charter school on Monday at 10. I got the call from the library yesterday at 4:20.

Which one do I take if I'm offered both? Dh thinks I'd be happier in the library, but my friend thinks I'd be happier in the charter school. He thinks I need away from elementary ed. She thinks that there's a higher turnover rate in the library and that the charter school has 7:15-3:15 hours and is with kids. Crap. I'm gonna poll this in random. :(

Chris is fine, it was his 15 months appointment. He didn't liked the doctor at all :laugh:. He is 25lb and 31inc, so he is growing correctly. He got 2 shots, but he was a trooper about it :silly:. Dani was the one who almost passed out when he got the shots

This last week I got the best compliment I could have ever got... a lady held the elevator for us, and Dani turned and said "THANK YOU"... the lady said "what a nice and polite little girl"... totally made my day!!! :wub:

Hi Ladies!
Hope everyone is doing a-ok today.
It's a sad day for us as our beloved family dog, Sophie, died last night. Yesterday she had a big siezure and my folks took her to the Vet - they couldn't do much so she went back home. DH, Emily and I went over to my folks house to have dinner with them and I knew that Sophie's time was short. Emily got to say one last "Hi" to her doggy friend and give her love before we left for home last night. My dad called me this morning and said Sophie passed a few minutes ago. I went into work late so I could go by my folks house and say goodbye to her one last time - she looked so peaceful, like she was sleeping. My mom is totally disrought though - Sophie was her favorite dog. It's always hard to loose the family pet and at least she was happy right up to the end and at least she died now as opposed to when we go to Las Vegas this coming weekend.
Poor Magee though, he is so lost with out his sister.

Does that make sense? I have days where I'm blah (today) and then days where I can totally see myself being fine without him. The blah days are becoming less and less, so that's a good thing.

Cake, we made a cake on Sunday, Dani wanted to do everything!!! so she helped as much as she could.... then when I took it out of the oven, she ran to get a spoon and sat down on the table, ready to eat the cake.... she couldn't understand why it needed to cool down

We were in the van driving home from church and some how got on the bigest change or inconciance I had faced since Morgan was born. I said the one I hate the most was when Morgan stopped nusing and I had to got to bottels because as long as she was b/f I didn't have to cart a whole lot of things around with us. My dad said "oh.. yeah the whole 5 minutes you nursed" I mean I nursed her until she was 8 months old and she gave up on me. I cried my eyes out becasue I wasn't ready for her to say enough is enough. I told my dad that with me being a full time working mom nursing for 8 months was a great accolplashment for me! My mom chimed in you didn't nurse that long! I said yes I did remember on the 4th of July I was still b/feeding. We got into such a tiff over it and it hurt my feelings. My dad said well if you nursed for 8 months it should have been 12 or more! Your mom nursed your sister for 12. I said good for her and left and went home.

BF will always be a sensitive issue for me Pam... but YES absolutely I would have been upset and offended about the comment.
I mean, BF is hard, and I am sure it is harder for working moms (with the pumping and all that)... why it has to be so hard FOR YOUR FAMILY to just be supportive??

The interview went GREAT! I had a great talk with Rachal (the asst dir) and talked more about her cute red shoes than anything. lol. She wanted to know about me and then my strengths. Then, I went into the person who would be my direct supervisor and talked to her. She was very impressed with my resume. She said it was well put together, and very impressive. She only said one thing that bothered me. She said that she's afraid the job wouldn't challenge me enough. I countered with, "Well, any job CAN be challenging, and it can also be slow. There are times of the year for both. I believe I am highly efficient and have a strong work ethic that would do well in this department." She said she could tell both from my resume. Then she started telling me things like I had the job, but she still has more interviews. I asked when I would hear back if I were offered the position, and she said by the end of the week. Only problem is that I would have to give a week's notice instead of two. Hmm...

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I'm just checking in. It's my official first day on my own and it's going really well. Aaron and I went to the doc this am, he is back to birth weight plus an ounce!! Woohoo!! Then we hung out with my Mom for a few hours, then came home for naps. I got all of about 20 minutes, but I'll take it!! We also cleaned up Amanda's room today. I don't think that is all too bad for just having a baby 11 days ago!

Pam, I would have been ticked about those comments. You had every right to be irritated.

Ashley, great job on the interview....if it's the one you really want then I am hoping you get it!!!

Candice, stay strong sweetie! I can see how much you have grown since this whole thing started with him.

I'm not sure if it's the one I want or not. I liked the people, and the job deals with a lot of students and ordering. It's overseeing payroll and student assistants, as well as ordering for the whole library.
