Ash you made me remember this show I watch on saturday morning in bed LOL it´s called "sell this house" in A&E, Im not sure if you can watch it tehre is about remodeling for sale in 48hours, a decorator comes paints, moves furniture arround, add plants, throw innnecessary stuff away and re decore with what they already have and some canddles, new towels in the bathrroms etc. It´s amazing how 200 or 300bucks can completely change a place :silly: I love to see the finish product, and they usually sell the house the week after the show :)

Glad to hear some of you had a good weekend... ours was a whatever weekend. Went shopping on Saturday for the swap, and both kids got new shoes. Dani was not feeling well at all, she had fever and everything, so she was mostly down all weekend (she barely ate anything).
Sunday we cleaned and went out for lunch, then DH took his son to the movies, so we stayed home and napped. Yesterday night was awful, Dani was coughing non stop, so I was awake from 2:30 - 4:00 am.... I had a hard time going back to sleep once she stopped coughing.... I ended up crying myself to sleep because I am over sick kids and work... to make the weekend better, I hurt my ankle, it is feeling better but I am wearing flipflops to work. :truce:
The good thing about the weekend? DH actually helped me clean and with the kids, and we did not had an argument (I am not letting his son get on my nerves anymore), and I had a very nice phone conversation with my mom, about the therapist.

Morgan is so pretty Pam, I just cannot get over it!! :wub:

Kids wore their shirts Saturday, I have some pictures... not great as Chris was not cooperating and Dani has puppy face because she was feeling crappy........

I wish there were more things I could do with the kids during the weekend, but it is so darn hot in here, there are no festivals or anything like that... I should just take them to Seaworld to the water area......

With gas being so high I have turned out house into a little park at home. We have a tree swing my mom got Morgan last year, A little swimming pool with a slide that my brother got morgan last year, a turtle with sand that used to be my sisters when she was little that my grandma gave us, we got a little tikes basket ball goal and cliford the big red dog slide from free cycle and I bought a 7 dollar slip-n-slide. Friday night I conted 13 kids over at our house at one point. :) I love it that all the neighbor hood kids come to our house to play!

How do you know its time to STOP Co sleeping. We still co sleep 90% of the time. I love it!:wub: but... now that she is getting older there are a few reason I could see why she should get used to sleeping by herself. Mainly for sleepovers. If she spends the night with my mom and dad there really isn't enough room in there bed for 3 people. If Morgan has friends spend the night with her she wants them all to sleep in my bed :P and I end up one the love seat sleeping.:eyebrow:

So is this a sign I need to get her used to sleeping in her own bed all the time? I think Mama is having a harder time stoping the cosleeping than Morgan is. :truce:

I'm not saying stop it completely, but you might want to think about weaning her off it slowly. I say this because my Mom let me sleep with her until I was 5 and it was really hard on me to transition to my own bed when I had to get on a routine for school. She went through a hard divorce and wanted to have me near her and it just really didn't help me at all with sleep habits. Ultimately, she had to end up having friday nights as our "sleep over nights" where I could sleep with her and we'd lay in bed and watch movies and eat popcorn. It gave me something to look forward to and broke me of the co-sleeping habit.

Just giving you a perspective to think about. I'd love having Zack sleep with us but we just don't sleep good when he does. He is usually in bed with us every morning by 5:30.

Like Lynn... I have a "Bunny" girl and Morgan wont sleep or go any where with out bunny. She naps just fine in her bed and sleeps most the night in her own bed no problem. I don't even have to wait for her to fall asleep she crawls up there we read a story and pray and she is fine with me turning out the light and walking away. Its the 12:30 wake up time that I don't know how to fix.

Hey girls... I have a strange question What kind of entertainment center do you have and if you have a picture can you post it. I want a new one and I really want a corner one so it takes up less room but.... can't seem to find one.

Pam, sometimes Dani wakes up in the middle of the night and she wants me to stay there with her, or wants to come with me, so what I do is stay with her for a while, talking really softly, telling her "you are going back to sleep, and will have nice dreams" all positive phrases, and play her CD yet again (her favorite one is one with CHRISTMAS CARROLLS that my dad bought her... so yes Frosty the snowman in June)... usually the music makes her sleepy and then I can leave, or at least she is OK with me leaving
Another thing that works is random objects to put in bed, like a different plush animal, or Abuelo's hat (I know, she is nuts)

Stacy, I wanted to do cloth diapers, but DH thought I was crazy... then the idea of doing MORE laundry just turned me off

Doc checked me today, I'm "at about a fingertip" which means these contractions aren't doing diddly and he is guessing that he is about 7.5 pounds. I got a call from my gf this weekend and she found out via reading her daughters text messages that she had sex for the first time, with no protection, she is 14..my gf was just dumbfounded and pretty mad..this wasnt a guy she had been seeing just a guy she liked from school..but it totaly made me go wow this is just around the corner..time goes so fast it wont be any time adn ill be dealing with this stuff..i mean we want our kids to do better than us ya know..not maek the same mistakes we did..its just hard..my gf had gotten pregnant in HS when she was 15 so i think this really hurt her to know her daughter knows how hard it is and sees it but made this choice anyways..i dont know why i had to get this all out just made me go wow im not ready for this..

and when my gf took her to get a pregnancy test at family planning her daughter had to fill out a questianier and one question was "do you want to be pregnant" her answer was UNKNOWN :( i mean does a 14 year old nowadays really think they can handle a baby, they cant handle going to school adn dishes..

i just felt for my gf. i know it bummed her out and it was hard for her to handle

So glad I am back here today.

Sarah - I feel for your friend. Shelly was just a few days short of turning 15 when she had it. Its like a punch in the stomach, but you move on from there. What 's done is done and she can't get that first time back. We have to educate them on the responsibilities that come with having sex. Its a tough place to be..let me tell you.

I had another teen drama weekend with my DD. She didn't come home Friday night and when I called her Saturday at 7:30 she said she spent the night at Jenns. Well Jenn's mom had called me Friday night and said she was not sleeping there so I already knew she didn't. We had to go to my inlaws so we were gone all day saturday and she didn't come home. When I called her at 9:30 to see where she was, she said she didn't have a ride. So I went to get her. I was sooooo mad at her. She is hanging out with the wrong crowd. This guy she likes is supposedly in a gang. I'm like "Are you insane?" I just don't know where she took this wrong turn...

so needless to say, she is grounded. Can't use the computer, Can't go anywhere until she finds a job and once she is allowed to go out, she can't sleep out anywhere ever again! AND the only reason I didn't take her cell phone this time is because she actually answered it each time I called.

She came to work with me yesterday and is like a different person. Very sweet and loving. I think she is trying to butter me up to let her out early. NOT happeneing.

Well... I have full custody of Morgan. Will Grant want to see her "YES" because it will be his way of keeping a thumb on me. Our divorce came out of no where and I was in shock. Sorry ladies who had late meetings..... I had a nice afternoon with my kids, went to the supermarket after daycare and got the kids on a shopping cart that looks like a race car, Chris was having a blast!!! both of them ate cookies and we just had fun. At night Dani was super cranky because she was tired, so I asked her if she wanted to go on "time out" to calm herself down... surprisingly she said yes, so she stayed there without whinning while I was getting Chris ready for his bath; I asked her if she was feeling better, she said yes and took a bath... we did another "time out" after bath, she was standing there naked, calming down, until she told me she was fine. I hugged her and told her "it is nice to calm down, huh? you are tired and that is why you are so cranky, mami gets like that too, it is ok... once you go sleepy, you will feel better"...
I am so proud of her and so proud of myself for handling things calmed!!! Dh was ready to start screaming, but I just ignored him and did what I felt was the right thing to do!! :vibes:

Paypal... if you receive and send money, you can leave it in the paypal account, sort of a checking account (where the funds are available)
You do not need to keep funds in the paypal account, you can move them from/to your checking account or credit card (that is what I do because I don't use paypal that often)
When you need to send money and your paypal balance is zero, paypal will pull the funds from your checking account/credit card (depending what you have on file)

Paypal is funded if it pull from you checking account. If it pulls from a credit card, the person you are sending to gets charged extra, like 2.9% or so of the total. Jenny definately wants funded.

About the A/C, we leave ours on 80 F, considering we are out all day... the house stays fairly cool, when we get home, we turn on fans and enjoy the cool house... we pay about $160/ month, which is CHEAP considering our appliances and water heater run on electricity

I had some pasta with chicken, broccoli and radicchio... WW recipe, YUM!!! the bad thing was that someone brought fish, and the WHOLE office stinks like fish :X

I love my blog too. :happy: I set mine to 80 when I'm not home, but when I'm there it's usually b/w 70-75. :shame: Me and Chris are both so hot natured, so we sleep with it at 70 and have a fan going full blast. I know I need a new filter though and one of my friends suggested closing the vents to this one room I don't use. It's down by the basement and I never go in there so I'm going to close the vents. Hopefully, that'll help!
