Okay, here's my weekend. Go down to St Pete to see Tara's Mom because we told her as a mother's day present we'd paint her family room. Needless to say, I wasn't going to let Tara around any paint fumes so I ended up doing the whole room myself. 7 hours later it was done and did look awesome! I'm just sore and could use a mega massage. LOL! Okay, after that we came home on Sunday and I had 2 labs to do for Anatomy for I had to buy some chicken drumsticks and wings and dissect them and take pictures with the digital camera. Ugh!!! Nothing like dissecting chicken and having to write a lab report about it. Guess we'll be grilling out chicken tonight for dinner with the leftover....LOL!!!!!!

Lex is doing better. I've been feeding him apple juice left and right and he finally had a normal bowel movement. Dh slept til 11, and that helped.

We went and got pics done at Sears, and it was an awful experience. They screwed it all up and didn't want to deal with us. They wouldn't even give us the 9.99 deal?! Stoopid. Dh had the girl in tears. At least some of the pics were good. I'll have to figure out how you can view them from the site....

Best way to deal with losing weight is eating less carbs, more veggies and lean proteins, lay off the sweets and be careful with the fats... oh and working out!

I have a date!!!! Saturday night!!! Whoot Whoot Whooot! So here are my questions. #1 I asked him so should I assume I am paying? If we have dinner too (plan right now is for movie) should I offer to pay for mine? I have never seen him any any thing other than his work clothes and his fire department clothes so do you think I should dress down I mean for a date I normally get all gusseyed up but I get the feeling that might be a little intemating to him. I was supposed to have a b-day party for Amanda last week (remember it didn't happen but still turned out nice) then this weekend we talked about going to the movies but her son has a game. So after talking to you all I bit the bullet called Mike and left a message on his answering machine that just said Hey, Mike I had plans to go out with Jackson and Amanda on Saturday and they fell through I already have a baby sitter for that night and was wondering if you would like to go. I hate going to the movies by myself. But after leaving the message he didn't call back. I was pretty bumbed and couldn't figure out how I had miss read all the flurting I thought he was doing. Then last night he took off down our road driving like a crazy person (come to find out it was a fire call) but when he got back instead of going home he stopped at my house (Morgan was out in the kid pool and I was watching her). He said he had got my message but didn't want to call so late and he knew we would see each other anyway. He said Heck I have nothing better to do sure I will go (you could so tell he was playing the whole thing down being Mr. Cool LOL it was cute) He stayed and talked for about an hour and then went home.

K, I know everyone is probably gone but I'm being needy again and need hugs. My brother texted me about an hour ago telling me that my dog was acting funny and just being kinda mean. (him to me, not her) She's at my dad's because I felt bad that she was locked up inside all day and I wanted her to be able to be outside during the day because she loves the outside. I thought she was acting kind of funny, but with all the sh!t going on in my life right now I just shrugged it off. Now I'm scared that she might die all because I haven't been taking care of her as well as I could have and I feel like the biggest jerk in the world. :( He said she was walking funny and she's really skinny. She ALWAYS has food and water though and he made it sound like I'm starving her. I think she might have worms, cause she's had them in the past, but I honestly don't think I have the $$ to take her to the vet. I think I'm gonna take her on my lunch tomorrow anyway and pray my check doesn't bounce. I'm terrible at balancing a check book. Gah, I feel like such a BAD, BAD pet owner. I may look into giving her away because she deserves someone who can play with her and take her on walks and stuff like that.

I hope y'all don't think I'm a bad person. I messed up though and I hope she's alright.:ohno: I'm going to go see her after work and give her a good bath and some syrup. A vet told me once that with little dogs like her, if they don't eat enough their blood sugar goes down, so I hope that's the case and the syrup will perk her back up. I'm also going to take her some canned food I have to entice her to eat more. I can't figure out why she's not wanting to eat. I'm going to be sooo freaking anxious until I get her to the vet tomorrow. Maybe I will take her 1st thing in the morning instead of waiting until lunch time.

So I saw my girl about a thing last night. I think she's at a good weight, Lynn, but I'm no dr. As our pedi says, "As long as they follow their own little curve, it's alright by [her]." She's just petite. And gorgeous to boot.

My neice is the same way Lynn, and she's older than Katelyn. Her Bday was in April (age 2) and she is still in 18 month EVERYTHING.

Lynn, she just sounds petite. Isn't that normal for girls? Chris is 32 lbs and it's a killer when he wants to be held. Not to mention the fact that he's already more than 1/2 my body length. :shocker:
