poor Lex and his nightmares :( I don't know how to handle those... my mom said that she would talk to my sister when she was falling asleep, all POSITIVE sentences, telling her she would go sleep all night, and have pleasant dreams, and start telling her about all this nice things, and that helped stop nightmares and sleep walking

Cecilia, I started spanish since day 1, actually since I was PG, so Dani has never questioned the different languages... Mami speaks one, Daddy speaks the other one :dunno:
Can you explain her that Mami speaks Spanisn, same as abuelos??? That is one of the big reasons I am teaching spanish to D&C, I do not want my parents to have problems communicating with them (besides the culture part of knowing another language)

I honestly don't care what DH thinks, or if he understands for that matter.... he does get upset because he cannot communicate with Dani (even though she understands English, she just speaks more Spanish and DH does not understand it that well) but that is not my problem.... we had a huge argument about it, and I told him to give me a solution that didn't meant to stop the Spanish... this was in January and I am still waiting, so I guess it really doesn't bother him THAT much, right???? :pokey:

But also, DH is not a big talker, I am the one who goes around talking about everything to the kids... when DH does, it is in English

Our daycare lady has her DD in speech therapy, and they told her to reinforce spanish in the house... she is going to preK now and learning english, and she would be bilingual soon.
My cousin only heard Spanish for the first 4 years of his life (at home), then he started prek and it was all English, he is 100% bilingual without an accent... I know kids would learn, that is why I reinforce the Spanish for now!!

Nothing really but our walk didn't go any further than his house and back because when we got to his house he was sitting on the tail gate of his truck and Morgan ran over to him and he pulled a Tenis ball out of the back of his truck and Morgan and Austin and Mike played with the Tenis ball while Mike and I tryed to watche the kids. LOL My other neighbors (the are good friends of mine) were watching us and busting out laughing in there living room. I had no more than walked in my door when she called me to joke about using our kids to talk to each other.

He is very much a people person and plight so I can't tell if he likes me or if he is just being kind. Only time will tell but any way you look at it .... it was a fun night and I feel as if we could be good friends if nothing more. :)

So Dh and I were in the bed and started talking (ok I was venting) and then he complained that I spent 30 min yapping when we were supposed to be DTD..... the message I got is "I don't care about what you have to say, you are here to DTD" :crossed:, so he tried and tried with me and obviously nothing happened, and the night ended up as a big fiasco!!
I learned my lesson and I am keeping my mouth shut from now on, because obviously he doesn't care!!

Oh forgot to tell you, yesterday Chris woke up after I was done with my shower, I went to get him and I had a towel wrapped around my hair, he FREAKED out!! and wouldn't come to me.... poor thing!!

We will go tomorrow and give them a big lunch, I have received tons of stuff from all the members, until now we have tons of sodas and fruit juice, finger food, corn couffle, cookies, lollypops :) shampoos, hand cream, soaps, cologne and tons of money we will buy them milk...some nuns are taking care of them and they will receive the donations and store them. Im sooo happy:hooray:this really warms my heart. And some members will bring singers and a guitar to entertain them...

Gotta ask if you guys think this is too freaky or not.

Katelyn's "portion" of our room is decorated with Winnie the Pooh. So for her 2nd birthday we got her the Dora sheets/comforter and some things to hang on the walls. We always put her to bed in our bed and then move her over once she is asleep. So I am thinking that (on the night before her birthday) once she is asleep I am going to change everything over before I put her in her bed so that when she wakes up her corner will be Dora the Explorer.

Do you think that will freak a 2 year old out?

How was everybody's weekend? Mine was pretty sucky
Dani felt sick Saturday, she couldn't keep water in her stomach, so we stayed home all day, hoping she would feel better and be able to drink. The worst part is that she cried because she wanted water, and I had to tell her no because she would end up puking it :crying:. It was until night that I gave her some water and she did ok. Sunday she felt better, ate a little bit, but at least she was OK

Sunday DH and I had yet another argument... I was so upset I let lots of things out (that I had repressed inside) so the day was pretty much ruined. We were supposed to go out for lunch and shoe shopping, and I went downstairs and started making lunch for the kids, he asked if we were going out and I said "I don't feel like spending time with you" :po: ... we talked and the same story, we will work on things.... it just made me super upset that he would be so judgmental about the way I feel.... ugh!!!
I knew things would only be OK for a while and we would back to the same old issues....... I am so done with that stupid cycle!!! :conf:

On a good note, Chris is eating like a champ!! he tried pears (uncooked) and cantaloup and he loved them!! he is such a weird kid, I gave him hamburger and carrots, he ate the carrots BEFORE the hamburger!!! he is such a big boy!!

Next weekend I wanted to go shopping for the kids, but DH's son has a party where they live (like 50 mi from us)... DH asked if I wanted to go to hellhole...... I wish I could just say NO!!! his stupid party is not going to ruin my weekend!!! :pokey:

They are estimating his weight if Tara delivers on her due date as being 7 1/2 lbs. He's pretty tall already at 14 inches and we've got 11 wks to go as of today!

Well Dh told work he would just have to be late two days a week so he could take cy to baseball YAY!!!!! i didnt think he would ask them but he did and NOW CAN BE IN BASEBALL !!

today is the first practice so im runing there on my lunch to watch..

and DH took cy out with his friend and his friends daughter sunday and let him ride motorcycle for hours and hours :)

At the party Saturday we start talking about Thanksgiving. My Aunt was at the house and she is currently selling her home and moving to Georgia to be near her kids. Right away she pipes up and says my parents are coming to Georgia for Thanksgiving. Mind you I have a sister who lives there and that would have been ok. So I go "Oh and where are they having Thanksgiving?" and my Aunt says "At one of my girls house." Not even at my sister's. So my parents are foregoing Thanksgiving with their family to have it with their nieces and my Dad's sister in Georgia.

My parents are doing some wierd stuff in their old age!
