OK, how is this for a story? I had a spider IN MY PANTS yesterday  I thought I felt a tickle, and ignored it. I had a pair of loose yoga pants on yesterday morning(the same ones I'd slept in commando-style the night before). I felt the tickle and ignored it, until I could not. TMI, but it was crawlin up my um, butt cleavage. Ugh. And I can only think he got there when I went to pee. He couldn't have survived for long! Anyhow, so he was of the type with those twiggy looking legs--I don't know my species. And I thank my guardian angel I WAS NOT BIT!!!!

OMG!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I freaked out last night because I killed two spiders in my computer room. I couldnt imagine ON ME!!!

Eww spider in your butt..... EWW ICK!!

Gracie, I have seen snow ONCE! it was last year, we went to NYC in January..... it was more than I bargain for!!! I get cold easily, so it was torture, and I hated having to wear all those heavy clothes just to be slightly warm... I liked the snow and I actually went sort of snow boarding, it was fun, but I fell on the ice and that hurt, and then in CT the temperature was -8F!!!! WTF??? and we got stuck in NYC because of a bad blizzard....

I like it when it is cold enough to wear a jacket, and it gets windy... maybe about 40F??? (I am still not familiar with F), but the whole under 0F was too much for me

I HATE taking a bath or shower in a cold room...

Hummm.........showers.........that reminds me.

I was going to ask you ladies what you thought about me taking my bath with Ms. M.

I only was my hair every other night so on the nights I don't wash my hair I have been letting Ms. M take a bath with me. On the night she takes a bath with me are the night she gets a good soap down and her hair washed. Any way this is working out for us great but my question is this.....

Do you think she is getting to old to be sharing a bath with her Mommy? She is 8 months now. I hate to give up our bath time just because is flows nice into our schedule but at the same time I don't want to be doing any thing inapropreate (sp?).

I never even thought it would ever be inappropriate...? Stella is 9 months and we are no where near stopping co-bathing. She'll probably become aware of it in about 5 years, and she'll let you know by becoming "shy" or "embarassed," but by all means - while she's this little enjoy the time together!

Skin to skin contact is SO good for them too. And by you being comfortable with your body, she will be with hers!

To clarify, for me its hopping in the tub with Stella... I take my showers in the morning too. The bathtime isn't for me to get clean, it was originally just to make it easier for me to bathe her once she started wanting to stand up all the time, and in the transition to the big tub. Now its just a bonding time together. Still its easier to wash her hair and stuff when I'm in the tub with her...

Marissa, Pey and I take baths together about twice a week. I started to do it with Peyton because it was easier to let her play and enjoy the water. Marissa was getting jealous and hopped in one day. Now its our "bonding" time. They both love it. We get out, dried off and in our PJs and all lay in my bed and read stories. Its great. :D

I take baths with DD but I always wear my swimming suit. Sometimes all three of us pile in the tub for "family bath night" but we've got our suits on. I don't feel comfortable without my suit on; of course she's 4 so she loves to poke things. LOL We have a corner jacuzzi so we all fit in there nicely. Sometimes she wears her suit, sometimes she doesn't it just depends on her mood. We still soap her up really good either way.

This brings back wonderful memories of my sister and I in the tub with our mom. I don't know at what age we stopped this, but I was old enough to remember it...Iwouldn't worry about how old your baby is- do it until it doesn't work anymore.

Well I am not crazy about baths, so I don't do it with Danielle, but couple of times I jumped in the tub with her and gave her a bath

Anyways, my parents use to do this to give us showers (I must have been around 4-5), one will be inside the shower, girl #1 comes in, dad/mom washes them, rinse them and out, mom/dad outside dries them.... it was pretty cool and fun... I never thought it was inappropriate.... of course my Dad is the kind of person who wonders around nekkid, even when we were grown ups... for me seeing my parents nekkid was one of the most natural things

And we do the same thing, DH and I are repressed nudists, so we wonder around clotheless

I guess what made me think of it was the fact that Morgan is now having some issues with being weened from b/feeding. Its kind'a sad. Some times if I am not quick enough to stop her she will pull my shirt down and just lay her head on my (.)(.)'s. When we are in the bath she does the same thing. Hey, me too!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't really bathe with Ciara any more...I did for awhile b/c she was afraid of the tub. I don't see anything wrong with bathing with your baby, though, either. If the baby's the opposite sex, then you would probably want to stop as the begin to ask questions. Around 2? I don't know what the appropriate age would be. I have girls, and we all have the same parts.

Oh, I don't think there's anything at all wrong with bathing with your baby. I'm not a big bather, but after reading all the posts, it just sounds like a blast to bath with baby so I might actually have to try that.

Michael, I feel for 'ya girl with that spider in your pants.

About the nudist thing, I don't have a problem walking around with undies on in front of DH, my sister, or my mom. If I get to nekkid in front of DH, I might be inviting unwelcomed advances  But, for some reason, I don't like pumping infront of DH. I don't know, it just feels weird.

And heck - Stella pinches my nipples if I am not paying attention just while feeding so being nakey in the tub is nothin'!

Yeah, the topic of weaning made me sad too!

I wouldn't want to try to stand up with DD in the tub for fear of falling too! We have a really small bath room but there is just enough room for her bouncy seat or bumbo seat. I cover them with a towel and then when we are ready to get out I lift her up over the side and set her down in one of her seats on the towel and wrap her up while I am still sitting in the tub. Then I get myself out of the tub put my robe on and away we go.

Something that happened today that was cute--Ciara thinks ducks hiss. She has a rubber ducky that she takes everywhere--carries it in and out of the bath. She spotted it on the living room floor, said "Duck, duck", started hissing, and clapped. Well, she thinks the duck should make a hissing noise b/c it does. When you squeeze it, and the air comes out of the mouth/bill, that's exactly how it sounds. But she was so proud of herself, that I hate to spoil her fun...all the carrying on and clapping (to which I'm supposed to make a big deal and say "Yay"), I couldn't try to instill quack-quack. Besides, I've seen ducks hiss!

I applied for a part time seasonal job there and interviewed yesterday. They have really great interviews by the way. I built a tower out of spagetti and marshmallows.

I am hoping to get the job for a) the discount (Christmas is coming!) and b) the extra $$. We have to make a trip to Hawaii AND Europe this summer and are not sure we could do it with me staying home and not really bringing in anything but the occasional pampered chef bucks.

Also, as much as I miss Stella when I'm away, the time outside the house might be nice. I'll still get to spend the first 10 hours of the day with her... I'll just miss out on the last 4.

I was just reading an article in Parents magazine about this couple who accidentally got pregnant...

The man wanted her to have an abortion... why? Because he wouldn't get as much sex, and he was happy having "his life" back now that their kids were 7 & 8. He made her life a living hell for her entire pregnancy because of this.

Needless to say, I think that man is the biggest jacka$$ to walk the earth and had he been married to me, well, he'd be my ex-husband now.

To ask for an abortion so that he could keep his sex life on track???? How's that for selfish!

What?!?! That is crazy! If my DH ever suggested that to me, I would kick him to the curb, but not before giving him a swift kick in the arse!! :x ( I checked my spelling & almost entered lick instead of kick!)

Jai, I am so jealous! I can't wait to start TTC!! I think we have settled for sure on starting in February! :D I hope to lose some weight by then though! I don't want to get PG again, before I lose at least 1/2 of what I gained! All would be awesome, but I'll settle for 1/2. So far, I've only lost like 15 pounds PP. I really need to join the weight loss forum!

Oh, Holly that's wonderful. I'm sure your SIL is so grateful for you.

Well, building on the Halloween posts and BRU talk, I got this Halloween costume (in the new siggy) from BRU for Donovan. I tried it on him and it fits perfectly...too perfectly. I'm afraid it'll definitely be too small for him by Halloween  It's supposed to be 0-9 months. I just had my heart set on this one and they don't carry it in a bigger size. Now, he doesn't have a costume for Halloween. Guess I'll have to take this one back and get some other costume. Does anyone know where I can get a pea pod costume in a bigger size?

heartmyboyz

Donovan looks so darn cute in his costume!!! I love it!!

I know what you mean about the costume fitting a little too well. That's how C's is too (he's an octopus ). I took C to get portraits in his costume yesterday to make sure I could get them before he outgrew the costume. I'm too cheap to pay to ship it back for a bigger size. :P

I've seen the pea pod a lot though... have you checked around online for a bigger size yet?

Holly - that's so cool! My best friend, who was a middle school math teacher, when she became a SAHM mom started to tutor in the afternoons and loves it! She also makes pretty good cashola too! Congrats on the job.

I should hear by Friday. It would be pretty cool, and I am totally ready for at least 2 paychecks to just go right back into the BRU till!

One time Dr was checking on me and I was in la la land, and he had to yell if I wanted help to get up (I was very PG), and I asked "are you done?" and the smart a$$ answered back "is that what you tell men???"

I am making my own Mei Tai carrier (which is what a kozy carrier is) and so far on all the materials I think I will need I have spent less than $7. I am moving this weekend, which is when I'll find my sewing machine and will let you know how it turned out! I think it will be pretty darned easy, and I have finished the design for the prototype, but have yet to actually construct one. I will certainly post when I am all done! If it is as fun as I think it will be, I may consider making them and selling them on the side - but I am not sure about that at this point. I have to make sure that my sewing skills will make good solid long lasting carriers!

I have seen them online for closer to $25. After having bought the materials, $75 seems pretty steep to me too... Although having worn Holly's - I did love it!

Someone gave me a sling from my baby shower and it really is a pain. The fabric is very pretty, though. I also have a wrap which is a little better than the sling, but still a pain - not only do you wrap the baby, but you wrap yourself about 10x, then it gets loose.

I need to read a good book for babies. Even though I have one already i am still lost most of the time.

I have a Bijorn carrier I bought from Hollyjo and I love it. Recently it is hurting my back and shoulders so tonight when we went to the grocery store DH said he wanted to carry DD. I swear to you within 15 mins he was fussing about his back. I laughed and told him to try carring her for 9 months. He is such a wimp!!! I made him carry her through the whole store and he had to bend over and pick up the milk. LOL!!! It was so funny. I said " do you see how I felt now?" He just kept fussing and then he hurt DD while he was trying to get her out. :( He would not wait for me to help and she cried for about 20 mins, I was so mad because he was just complaining about his back while I had to comfort DD.

I tell you what I don't know if it is a jealous thing, where I am tired or what but I am about to kill DH. we are always fighting and everyone talks about how much of a butt he is being. I had an appt with a laywer but didn't go because as I was taking a shower I felt stupid. Here would be my conversation....yes I want a divorce because he calls me a fat whore, calls DD a fat a$$ when he is mad, and acts like such a 2 yr old when he does not get what he wants, how he wants it and when he wants it. Ummm what man don't always want his way?? I feel like a little girl tattling... Drew called me names and want let me do what i want!!!! LOL!!!

Boundaries in Marriage DH and I still have problems but the book has help me to set up some clear guide lines for him what things I feel are 100% deal breakers for me! Its kind of like telling him if you do _________ then you are making the choice to end our marriage. Its not a choice I made you made it by doing _________.

Pain is gone, I guess it was a combination of hunger, thirst and being tired!!

Christmas presents... I HAVE NO CLUE!! I don't want to go crazy buying stuff for Dani that she is not going to use, so maybe couple educational toys and some books in Spanish... if she is not walking by then, we say this thingy at costco that they can push and it helps them with the walking.
We never got tons of things for Christmas, so I want to follow the same tradition... besides I know my parents and sisters will fill her with crap!!!
The most important thing about this Christmas is that we are spending it with my parents and my sisters... that is ALL that matters to me!!
I am saving the money in case baby #2 is a girl, I want to match their bed sets, as they will be in the same room!!

I don't want to get her too much - she's just going to want to play with the boxes anyway!

I do want to update her toys a little though. There's a Leap Frog activity table thing... I am also looking at the push-thingie at Costco. And a few other things, but mostly we'll be saving our money for her first trip to Europe in the summer.

Last year we were too broke to buy any Christmas presents at all, like, none, and it actually didn't really matter. We had each other, and Stella was wiggling around in my belly, and I just felt totally blessed. I think this year will be similar as far as not really needing gifts.

Boy now I feel bad. :( Here I am planing all the wonderful gifts I want to get and you two are being so noble. LOL J/k!

Well I will say I stood in line at Wal-mart from 10pm -12 am to get her a Elmo TMX! Only a few people knew about the shipment so thank goodness I got one and didn't stand there the whole time and walk away with nothing.

I want to get her a few small things but her big gift I will be a nice toy box. *at least thats what I am thinking about any way*

The bad thing is when I get out there and see all the cool stuff for kids I can't help but buy it for her.

DIVADLX
10-10-2006, 01:19 PM
I think part of my saving grace is that I feel that so much kids stuff is WAY over priced just because its for kids and they know we'll buy them anything. It makes me mad.

$12 for a board book? Please.

I wish I was more noble! I was just around a lot of rich people when I was a nanny and found that the kids with a ton of toys got bored a lot more quickly than the normal kids I knew who had less. Also, they didn't take care of their toys very much. So because imagination is THE most important part of play I can teach Stella, that's why we'll not get her a ton of toys. Nothing noble. Just bad experiences reminding what not to do!

Kind of like Golf. No golf in this house. Period. Why? Aforementioned rich people would use it as an excuse to not be with their kids. And one too many crappy country club experiences where the golfers treat the "hired help" like crap. But fundamentally, there's really nothing wrong with Golf. I just associate it with bad things.

I have heard that Elmo rocks the house! :)

golf....DONT get me started. Country Club...mmm yea, dont get me started.

DH is a golf fanatic...its expensive, takes too much time, clothes cost too much, and its boring. so we joined a country club...its great cause the dues are LESS than the green fees that DH was paying to play each month. (except the initiation fee that we took from our savings ) EXCEPT everyone there is a SNOB!!! we are younger members, and ill take my parents to dinner (we also have to meet a food minimum each quarter) and they give THEM the sign off check, and they arent the members.

DH loves it, he golfs alot, BUT he busts his ass at work, referees football on the weekends, and still manages to give me some mommy time, and he takes Madi at night and feeds her, bathes her...etc. so its really ok.

i just hate hearing about it from him...i guess i dont understand it

i have no clue where we came up wiht over $1000 last summer for his membership and clubs...that is one reason i made him slpit our finances in 1/2 i dont want to be repsonsible for his spendy habits..when i have NO HABITS!

My husband and I used to see our Pastor once a week too. Right now he is just seeing DH. He said until DH fixes his problems it will be hard to work on our problems. I got that book from our pastor. It has some great stuff in it but like most books there are a few things that I thought were just nuts. I guess you take the good and put out the bad. :?

Are we seeing the same pastor??LOL!!! DH sees our pastor alone also because he said the same thing, we can't work through our problems until he fixes his. He has alot of family issues and anger issues to deal with. I hate to leave him because that is all his family has done to him. They shipped him off to school so they didn't have to deal with him. And mow MIL wants to give me baby advice. HA!!!

Anyway Christmas... I have bought a ball that talks and moves, it is to help a baby crawl. And I am trying to find a big toy for her. I don't want to go hog wild since she has 7 grandmas and 4 grandpas, not to mention aunts and uncles that will be buying for her. Now for my 13 yr old I have no clue.

I was going to order that Elmo online but was not sure it would be ok for a 6 month old. Walmart was selling them in advance about a month ago. My ex-Dh got his son one. Elmo seems to be a big hit with kids. All the kids around here love Elmo. Of course Ktie has not really showed much intrest in him but then again she doesn't watch tv (unless it is football or daddy lets her watch 24 with him)

Well, DH doesn't play golf but has his share of expensive hobbies... PHOTOGRAPHY!!

Anyways, when I was little we only got couple of toys for Christmas... but I have 2 sisters, so we all shared and it was very very cool
DH goes nuts spending money on Christmas presents for his son... they are all piled up in boxes because all he cares about is TV and videogames... DH is going to buy him a new xbox or something (I honestly don't care)!! and watch me spending no more than $100 on presents for Dani, including tons of clothes!!

Okay, I must admit, I love this thread but don't always get to catch up. So, even though I don't HAVE to catch up since the topic changes all the time, I just can't go on unless I do  So, here it goes...

Eggs: Definitely has to be well done here...no runny eggs for me. And, no ketchup either. Bring on the hot sauce baby!

Claudia, congrats on Dani standing. That's so awesome!!!

Geebee, I know you might not think it was, but it was so reassuring to hear that Lia just started crawling. That made me feel so much better. DS is not even trying to crawl at this point. I don't think he even knows he's supposed to. He'll just log roll to where ever he wants to go...it's pretty funny watching him  I got down on all fours the other day (you know, monkey-see-monkey-do?) Well, my monkey didn't do, he just thought it was hilarious  BTW, what is this crawler baller y'all are talking about? I need to get one if it works. Anyone have a link to what this is?

DIVA, congrats on the new job. You're so baby-oriented you'll be the best person to help new mama's. I remember our first few visits to BRU. We literally walked in and left...a couple times. Got so overwhelmed.

MM, you got a new hair-do? We must see pics!!!

Tralynne, so sorry to hear about the issues with DH. Sounds like you all are really trying to work things out. It does worry me that all it takes is your pastor being out of town for DH to relapse. Sounds like he's not internalizing the changes. Anywho, good luck to you. No one, not to mention a nice person like you, should have to put up with what you have to endure. ((HUGS))

I've given a fleeting thought to Christmas, but I'm one that really don't think it's necessary, or even good, to shower kids with presents. I don't remember getting tons when we were little, but that's what made it so special. We had a chance to get excited about what we did get. So, I'm hoping I can do the same for DS. But, it's hard to do with all the cool kiddie gadgets they have out now. But, I've heard that for that 1st Christmas, you're good to go with just some boxes and wrapping paper

And finally, we got our new Britax carseat today...YIPEE!!! I'm not sure who was more excited, me or DS. Okay, I was more excited. I sat him in it in the foyer and he was as happy as a clam. I took a couple pics and a video. Maybe I'll upload for y'all to see. I was pretty cheesy on the video though, so I don't know.

And Christi, yes, let's see the new do!

I hear you Sherry.... just thinking that Dani will be 1 in 1 month makes me sad.... guess now I should focus on baby #2

So the Christmas question left me thinking... I want to get Dani a little table with chairs, so she can practice sitting down and all that, and then use it to play, color, etc... does that sounds like a stupid idea??

Claudia - if you have an Ikea anywhere near, you could go there - they have some really cute and inexpensive kid table and chairs.

Michael - is Ciara your last? I find myself amazed at how fast she is growing up but I am totally excited about her birthday! I think, though, that it is because I know we'll have at least one more, and I look forward to that. I suspect though that when our last kid celebrates her first birthday, I'll probably be a wreck!

Stella has been standing on her own... I think we're going to have some first steps soon! Last night we were playing around and she was standing in her crib and she just looked at me, smiled and let go... then stood there for at least 5 seconds. I was so excited and proud!

~Oh i cant wait to see stella walk...

~ i had a dream when i was pregnant that i was walking over a bridge (pregnant) and DS was coming behind me on his bike and he started to roll back down the bridge and ended up going over the edge..i watched him fall into the water knowing he couldnt swim..i knew if i jumped the baby wouldnt make it..so it was like a dream where i had to chose between my babies..it was horrid! luckily i woke up before i made any choice..

Stork Passes... OUr Ikea has "Family Parking" which is totally cool - but every time I go there some bonehead without the "family" part has parked there...

Last time Holly and I met there, she was almost witness to one of my rants as I yelled at this man from across the parking lot (are my trash-roots showing?) because here was this 30 year old man parking in the family parking - taking a space that some mom or dad with 3 kids to wrangle could have taken.

I still care about this thread - I've just had very little time online because of the move and because Stella has been really needy lately - I think that the seperation anxiety is rearing its ugly head... I can't go into a different room without her freaking out.

Hugs to MM for the stress of packing. When is your trip again?

Yay for Dani, Madi and Stella for standing and sitting.

I love the stork pass idea. I wish we had a family parking here. And Diva i wouldhave loved to see you chew out this guy for parking there.

And I stay in NM also because general was just too much drama. But why would they feel left out. We are close here because we talk to each other all the time in here. We do not know them (or i don't) and inviting the whole APA would be way too many people. I wouldn't want to go and meet up with 1000 people. Why don't they have thier own meeting and leave us out (that would show us.. ). There is always someone trying to mess up everyone else. i don't go to the other boars and complain about them leaving me out. Maybe I should throw some drama around and see what they think about a lunatic mom being upset that the TTC board left me out.

MM don't worry i will be good, only because you have to deal with the drama. Can I at least go to the general thread and fuss a little???

I just read the meeting thread and I so wanted to post, matter of fact I wrote a nice long post but deleted it. I don't want to hurt anyone but why is this such a problem??? Why can't they get thier own meeting together abd leave us alone? UUMMM if we are fighting online what will we do in person??? I have friends that are TTC and friends with kids and the friends with kids know what I am going through and the TTC firends think I am soo lame because all i want to do is be with my babies. Ok, Ok I am just a biocth and am done venting.

I hope Stella is a walking chicken, that would be cute. And madi sitting up alreay? I tell ya, wasn't it last week when you were over due MM??

Ok I am petty. My 4 month old is 16lbs and 26 inches long. Yes i have a big baby. Well this woman at church said to our Pastor (who has been out of town) that her baby had gotten big in the last few weeks but she was not as big as Katie. They are calling my baby fat. :( Plus her 6 month old can roll both ways, sit up and is starting to crawl. I hear Gracie is so smart and so cute.....uugghh. I told DH ok I have 2 months to get Katie to roll over good, to sit and to crawl because no baby will out do my baby. I have such a lazy baby that she has only rolled from tummy to back 3 times. She has no interest in anything. It should not matter that sweet little Gracie is doing so well. I mean I am happy for all of your babies when they do something and I have never felt jealous but I do with her. Why I am like this???

Tracy, I think Katie is perfect. As a mom to a big baby it's hard not to get a little defensive when others comment on how HUGE your baby is. She's just big and healthy. Yay Katie!

Christi, have you already bought your Clipper tickets? I have a coupon for buy one get one half off for the Clipper. Should I bring it along for you?

Yeah Tracy - don't feel too bad... people alternately tell me how big and how small Stella is.

One day a lady kept commenting on how small she was and how thin she was, so I finally just laughed and said, "yeah, its cause I don't feed her." And I laughed, and walked on.

Whatever. Weirdos. Katie is beautiful.

Don't worry about it. I was a big baby and ended up being the smallest in my family, and my daughter was a big beautiful baby and at 14, is very slim. I've read studies that if your baby is chunkier (not fat) then weight will not likely be an issue when she is older, wheras if your baby is extremely tiny, weight may be a large issue later on.

holly i PMed you about the tickets!!!!!! thanks for that!!

tracy, dont worry about that meeting thing, people wanted to get mad over something, so they chose that. its sad,and riduculous. if they dont have anything else to do...so be it!!!!

i hate those comments that people make about big/small babies.

Tracy, it's the same way with me. Branden is either too little or too big. BTW, Branden has never rolled from his stomach to his back! And he's almost 6 months! But he does roll from back to stomach and he sits up pretty well already so I'm sure Katie does things in her own time too! :D

Is the drama still out there?! I'm afraid!!

I didn't realize it was Friday the 13th  I tell myself, 'well, that's ok. Black cats cross my path, I boldly walk under ladders...' :D

BUT, here's something good. I had a dream starring Mario Lopez  ...and then DD interrupted it, waking me up at 6:10 :(

Wooha!! this one got big after I left work....

About the drama... I wish people stopped acting like teenagers and stop feeling that they are not part of the popular crowd... we are mommies here, we have other interests and priorities here, and we are a close group, so why is it so hard to RESPECT that??

Do other people get offended because they are not included on the month baby showers???

I love my mommies here and I feel closer to you girls that anyone else, if you ask me, you are the first ones I want to meet for real, but if other people come to Orlando, I am crashing their party!!

Anyways.... sorry About the comments on babies being too big, too small, etc... people should know by now that we are all different, and come in different sizes, shapes and colors

MM, Madi looks so adorable she is killing me!!

The Detroit Tigers (Baseball) are in the Playoffs for the first time in a LONG time. So we are going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game today. Then we are comin home and sitting by the nice hot fire. I cant wait. We have tickets to tomorrows Michigan State game against Ohio State, but its too cold to sit out there so I dont think we're goin.

I'm especially excited about this weekend. Since Christi is passing through this area on Saturday Jennifer and I get to go have lunch w/ her and her family. Then Jen & I are going to the aquarium. Should be SO fun! Is it Saturday yet??

On Sunday it's just church and a family day at home. Nice and chill.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

It snowed here too. And its soooo dang cold. I couldnt figure out why it was soooo cold in the house last night. I got the girls and brought them in my bed and we all cuddled and slept under two comforters. This morning I looked at the thermostat. I forgot at the end of the season last year I programmed it to 62. AHHH!!!! THATS why it was so dang cold. Its warmin up nicely now though. BRRRRR.....

Ugh.. it's freezing here too. Thank heavens for my new duvet (I finally got one!) it's not snowing here yet but Think they are calling for some on the weekend. I'm sending dh to the cottage alone so that he can close it up for the winter.

I hate winter... :? But i did find Jakie a new "Pooh" snowsuit! I'll have to post some pics later.

Tracy, don't worry about your "BIG" baby! I get the same thing...my FIL is always saying "Eating again...ALREADY!!!" and "You never miss a meal do you!" URGH!!! Wait until he finds out that at her 4 month visit this morning she weighed in at 18 and 3/4 pounds (above percentile) and a height of 26 inches. She is my BIG, BEAUTIFUL BABY!!!

I may not be all that close to you gals, but I'm really trying to post more and get to know each of you. All this drama is just ridiculous.

That is all I have to say.

About the weather... ahh... it has been beautiful lately (except today is a little foggy). Yesterday was a sunshiney 65 degrees. Fabulous! I love Washington. It doesn't really rain all the time. ;)
