Morning ladies! Have any of you ever flown Jet Blue or Spirit Air Do you have any horror stories about them? In October we are going to Connecticut and we were going to drive but decided to check the air fares. Driving would be at least $600 round trip in gas. Flying we could do for $945 for the 5 of us. I'm thinking spend the extra and fly up but I am not sure of the reputation of these airlines.

You guys i am so excited..when i picked Lucea up at daycare yesterday her daycare mama comes around the corner and says "LUCEA tell mama what you did"

she went on the potty 4 times at daycare :yeehaw:

only had one wet diaper..than came home and went on the potty all evening with only one dirty diaper because i was puttin cy do bed and didnt get to her PEE PEEE yelling quick enough..

i am just so thrilled with her..cy was 3 years and i week before potty trained so this is sooo cool to me.. :) and saves $$ on diapers and whipes

Tonight I have a meeting at home for 12 people, we get together on tuesdays (at my house of course :rolleyes:) to study for Ceci´s First Comunnion, they are all ceci´s classmates parents....

Tomorrow a representative of a famous hotel chain we represent is coming from Buenos Aires at noon, Ill pick her up, meet with her, get ready a presentation we both will give to our costumers on thursday, then take her to dinner out (I like that part :P)

On thursday, pick her up, and the presentation will be at a fancy restaurant for breakfast and meeting at 8am :sleepy: I should wake up at 6 :rolleyes: then we have a meeting for lunch with a VIP costumer again..take her back to the airport, at night I have a presentation at my office with the future senator which happens to be my uncle :rolleyes:
and now Im already tired of just typing this....:lol:

That just breaks my heart. I believe our church would accept clothes for the women's shelter, if you can't find anyone else. Have you looked for one of those? Catholic churches and Habitat for Humanity also accept gently used, unstained clothing.

I put new shoes on Chris and he was crying, so I took them off.. I told DH I would deal with that, not the daycare, and he said "you know, he has to get used to them"... NO HE DOESN'T!! I will get other shoes that he is ok with (those soft soled ones).... I just wanted to SCREAM at him!!

Morning. It's going to be a looong day. I get to work on Articulated Agreements for community colleges today. Ugh. My brain already hurts thinking about it.

Dh dressed Lex. That's all I get in the mornings. I didn't even get to give the little guy a breathing treatment bcs it's so hard to do with one person. He has a hard day today, so I guess it's excusable for once.

Lex walked off again this morning. Grabbed a book in the gym and went to his play area. Gave me a hug and went on his merry way. My baby grew up over night.

Claudia - I LOVE Savannah! We went when Shelly was younger with her Girl Scout troop. They have the home of the First Girl Scout there and some really cool tours and neat creepy old cemeteries. Have a great time! They have some great middle courtyard things to have like a picnic lunch too.

The crappy morning continues. DH gave the guy $120 CASH! Who does that? He also has our insurance information so he could claim against the insurance company AND keep the cash. so i was walking home with my dad last night and lucea and we see a cop/towtruck/car adn peopel at the corner by our house. (4 way stop) apparently some jack as$ was going way to fast for a residential neighborhood by a school and im guessing hit his breaks when he saw the stop sign, jumped the curb and hit a tree..

so DH calls that night and im telling him about this..he says "well i fly through that stop sign" i said "WHAT thats stupid" he says well not fly but i dont stop completely YOU DOTN EITHER" i said "what are you serious" he says "yeah you dont stop..you roll through it" i said "excuse me i am alway sgoing slow in our neighborhood..i might not stop completely and sit there but i go **** slow" he says " well i dont stop just like YOu dont stop" i said "you said you FLY through the stop" he says "ok bad choice of words im gonna shut up or i will just sound worse and worse" and than he hangs up the phoen one me

It was right in the middle of the day so he went down really late for his nap (2pm). Well, the phone rings at 4pm and it's Tara wanting to know if I'm almost to the dr's appt.

I was like OMG.....I completely forgot about her OB appt. I had Zack asleep, so I couldn't even jump in the car and hurry over to it, so I missed it. I felt like crap. Thank God it wasn't an important one. All they did was listen to the heartbeat and make sure she didn't have any questions. I've never done anything like that before....I should be fired.......

Tara wasn't mad, just a little disappointed. She's been very emotional lately, which is not like her, crying at the drop of a hat. I was worried about her reaction, but she seemed fine with it. She knew I really felt bad about it. Plus, to make up for it, I let her take a nap when she came home.

There is an indoor pool at a rec center nearby so I think we are going to take Zack swimming this weekend. It will be a good test to see how the tubes in his ears are going to handle the water. I'm crossing my fingers....

Stacy we never had problems with the tubes and swimming..and cy is a water boy..i made him wear a headband thingy over the ears for awhile and than gave up because it never stayed on..i did a lot of reading and found many resources that said NOT to be concerned with swimming as long as you arent submerging the head under water or diving deep..if they are just splashing on the surface and stuff no big deal..have fun..sorry tara is emotional...man pregnancy hormones are nuts..

My weekend was k, we enjoyed watching a movie on friday after O was out of his studies, saturday morning we went to downtown with my mom and did groceries, lunch at home, took ceci to a bday party, then relax, took her back and went to the club to have dinner, the kids stayed and played outside at the kids plays, this club has an amazing bbq restaurant you would be amazed how many meat they cook per night :P

then yesterday my brother juanma came with SIL stefi and enzo for lunch so did my aunt, then O ceci, ana my aunt and me went to the mall, santi stayed since he was naping, we got him some awesome long sleeve shirts soooo cheap YAY!

At night I watched Desperate Houseviwes and O and the kiddos were driving me nuts, I couldnt hear a thing :rolleyes: the played like wild cats in my room, thanks God it´s huge :rolly:

Ceci starts to go to the opera today for learning her play it will get started on Thursday for 4 days :P my awesome extra actress :D

Ash, I love your haircut it is adorable!! and congratulations on losing 9lb that is awesome!!!

So we had the weekend from H E L L!!! Friday morning DH and I got into a fight... we made up but still...:crossed:. I am tired of arguing about money, so I told him how I feel about him spending money on crap... he said he would sell the stuff, whatever... I don't see that happening....

Anyways, the trip to Savannah was awful. Saturday it rained almost all day, and there was a severe thunder warning... we were driving to an old rail station and saw a cloud rotating, wanting to turn into a tornado :shocker: I FREAKED OUT in silence, and on the way back to the hotel we heard the tornado alert... thank God nothing happened, but it ruined the afternoon. Sunday we made it to the train place (Dani was like in heaven) and then we wanted to eat at the Paula Deen restaurant, but it was closed!!! so we found another place to eat (bummer) and drove back home... It rained since we hit Florida, so the trip was terrible, traffic slow, screaming kids... I am DONE with this mini vacations... taking the kids out of their routine and familiar places SUCK!!! and DH not helping much makes things worse!!!:rant:

On a positive note, Chris is NOT allergic to eggs and he is loving table foods, and him and Dani are starting to play together (too cute :wub:)

Anyways, Friday I called my so called supervisor and her voicemail said she was in the office, so I left a message I was not coming to work (I made the kids sick :rolly:)..... anyways she was out on vacation on Friday, so no one got the message, and people were freaking out because no one knew where I was.... so her boss called her cell and made her listen to her messages, so they knew I was out... but she was dumb enough to tell people my MOM was sick :eyeroll:.... yes, this lady is my supervisor!!
Which confirms one more time that only IDIOTS go into management positions here!!:laugh:

Anyways, I am back and not happy to be working, but whatever.... A post was made in Random about defining the 4-5 things that are most important in your life and focus on them, so that is what I am going to do and move on.... I am done getting upset about everything, and having weekly arguments with DH...... I know he is not going to change his ways, so I need to change mine to make myself happy!!

Girls I hate to jump back in here again with a problem but... Please help me make up a meal plan for this week! I have to eath helathy and I have to lose some weight. I am freaking out here! I can't get my sister to take me off being a brides made and the dress she picked is going to look so bad on me the one fat chick! Ugh!!! I have got to shed some pounds! Any one ever try slim Quick?

hey Clau, here is what I do...mix as many eggs whites as you want, I use 4 for a kilo of flour sugar (you can find that there right?) first mix the egg whites untill they are really white and wont come down if you place the bowl head down HA! then add the flour sugar one spoon at a time, you will notice it gets more and more hard and less shiny...it should have the consistence of a jelly or dulce the leche, then separate and add vegetal colors as wanted, ETA they are really strong so just add a little by little :wink:
Then I cover the cake with one color and place other colors in ziplock bags and make a tiny hole in one corner, use it to decorate as you want, you can draw a paper, wait until the coating gets harder (let it dry) for half a day or so, and then draw with the paper the images you want, fill with the other colors (those you will need to storage in the bag or taper ware to avoit them to get dry) and voila...

Pam, when is your sister's wedding?? you can stop eating carbs for a week or so, and eat mostly veggies and fruits with some protein... I would think that will make you lose a good amount of weight!!
