This is what I wrote my boss this morning. What do you think?

I figured an email would probably do a little more justice to the situation.

First off, Lex has a right inner ear infection. He's on an antibiotic for that. He's on allergy eye drops for his itchy, watery, swollen eyes, He's on a breathing treatment twice a day for his cough. It has gotten really bad. Dr. Huggins said that kiddos with really bad seasonal allergies can end up with a touch of inflamation in their lungs. So, he's on a two week/ twice a day treatment. On top of that, he's still on his two allrergy pills. Oh, and he has a cut in his mouth that is hindering his eating. Yay. Poor little guy. Last night he went delirious on us.

I'm in a serious bind right now. Every time Lex starts to cough, he throws up. That means that any time he plays, gets overheated or overexcited, he ends up a sick little guy. The school has a strict 24 hour throw up policy. I've called my mother in law, and she said she MIGHT be able to take him a couple of hours this afternoon and then tomorrow, but she'd have to call me.

I don't know what to do. I'm scared of not having the time to take care of Lex. I thought about bringing him with me to see if there's any work I can bring home, and I thought about just bringing him with me a little while, but I don't know how he'd do. I just wanted you to know what's going on. I know we have things we need to get finished.

No, she isn't, but HER boss is giving her a hard time. I have over 60 hours of vacation that I can't use until I'm there 6 months (May 12). I used my little bit of sick leave already, so i'm stuck. Sha told me to take care of Lex first, job second. However, her boss is the Pres. of the university's wife. She's all about fairness to everyone. I'm afraid I may lose my job over this one. Honestly, I don't care if I do or not, because I need to take care of my son. But, I need the paycheck to help keep us in the good place we are. Kwim?

About Becki, I do have access to a carepage she has... I read it yesterday. She is still doing chemo, and apparently she is feeling ok, she has some of the effects but it is expected. She seems to be in good spirits, and from what I can tell, she is surrounded by lots of people who care about her, which is good!

I just came back from lunch... pasta with meat sauce and a load of veggies... I forgot the parmesan cheese, but it was yummi

DH called before lunch, he did another tour in Cleveland and found the newer part of town, and he really liked it.... we are going to talk about it when he comes back!

We are considering moving the kids to another daycare, which actually is a preeschool with an awesome curriculum. I am on the fence about it, so I am working on the infamous PRO-CON list....

Talked to DCF again, too, b/c the guy "working on" getting my $600 back from Child Support Enforcement hasn't returned any of my calls. Well, I look at my paperwork for DCF again, and the reason I'm losing benefits they have as "Brother or sister's income too high"--um, yeah, my 6 month old and 2 year old are out making a living. Anyways, she said it was probably just put that way b/c of the child support (I've yet to receive). And I wouldn't have a 400-plus share of cost if it was earned income vs. child support. And then she then went on to tell me I'll get my $600 back, but it'll be 3-4 months (it's been close to one now). So I'm guessing this is why the guy from CSE isn't returning my calls--b/c he said I'd have it back in 7-10 days. Well, doesn't sound like it. Freaking State. Fortunaely, April is just around the corner, so I'll have the next support payment coming in!

Its just my own little pity party Bel. SIL and BIL don't treat the son they have properly and don't have money (they complain all the time) so they really have no business planning another child.

My DD (Katelyn) was the first girl in DH's family (he has three brothers and they have 5 boys (no girls) among them). So Katelyn has been the little princess.

AND I really regret that I had my tubes tied and wanted to have one more (hopefully a girl) so that Katelyn could have a sibling her age.

So after the fiasco day I had yesterday, I decided I am just going to do my job and not try hard anymore... both times I tried to do something to help my customers, I got slapped in the hand... so if what they want is a moron without initiative working here, I would be that moron... I don't care anymore!! I am done trying to hold the fort and being punished for that, so if anyone calls and asks for the Manager, I would direct them to the boss and have him deal with it (for a change) :mad:

Hey ladies, just popping in to say hi!! We've been shopping like crazy. We went to a consignment shop today and got a ton of cute little onesies and sleepers. Also, we went last night to a shop we have here in Florida called Bealls and got alot of cute outfits. They had like 50% off and then another 40% off that. I've been doing laundry all day long! This kid already has more clothes than I do...LOL!

Got to tell you something funny during the u/s yesterday. The baby was not shy whatsoever about showing his private parts. The u/s tech kept going on and on about how big it was. I was cracking up. Hey all! We had a great visit with Tara's Mom but Zack got sick and got me sick as well. Yuck!

Also, the dvd player in the car crapped out so I was totally freaked out. Nothing like driving with a toddler screaming for Doddlebops for a half an hour. Sorry about what I'm about to rant, but I need someone to talk to.

We had a great baby shower Saturday, and my dad's birthday dinner was nice. But, my mom just couldn't behave herself. She asked me all these horrible questions about why I wouldn't let lex be alone with them and kept hounding me on how they "never ever abused me." All they wanted to do was "love and encourage me." Then, my sister sent me the nastiest text I've ever gotten. I lost it last night. Heaving tears and all. How can people forget the bad things that happen for 10 years?? Did my mom forget all the pain pills she was addicted to? OR the time she was going to shoot herself and told me it'd be on my head because I didn't protect her from my dad? Or me raising my sister?? It's like when Mimie died, so did all her bad things. But she proves us right EVERY single time. Is it time to cut them off? I don't know if I have the guts. I guess I need to call my therapist, huh?

How was the weekend?? mine was OK, I went to get the party supplies for Chris and the store was closed :wtf: so that was a no go... But on the other hand, we saw Chris gave his first steps (5 steps) and that just made the whole weekend!!
We also took him to get a haircut.... it is amazing the difference a haircut does... he looks like a big boy now, and now that he is feeding himself (sort of).... :boohoo: my baby is gone!!! :ohno: I want another one!!!!!

Well the wedding was k, I went to the salon, got new high lights (too blonde, but oh well) manicure, pedicure, my hair and makeup done, so that let me feel a little better...
Then there we went, the decoration was stunning as the food, OMG that was a huge amazing wedding celebration :shock:
I didnt do much, just sat there and O sat 5 feets from me in a square huge table, so I dont even see the point why I bothered going, he was like single anyway, so poo on O Im still pissed :( but I got to chat with my GF for few hours like two parrots LOL and her DH is O´s BF so they chatted together as well....so blah.
we did dance until 4am, yeah call me crazy, but it was fun to see old friends, but: Im still sleepy, even if I slept yesterday afternoon like 6 hours and went back to bed at 11pm, and my feet hurt like heck, yeah Im old :(

Ash, I don't think anyone has the right to tell you "you should get over it"... you are the only one who can decide when you are "over it" (if any) and how you handle it.
Some people forgive easily, some don't, and the least people can do (specially your family) is leave you alone when it comes to this things.
I am sorry for all your mom did to you dear!! Hats off to you, because despite that, you are a wonderful, loving and caring mom to Lex.

OMG Stacy you should have seen the decoration!! it had hundred candles, cristal chandeliers, champagne color fabric hanging from the ceilings and the same fabric as a running table cover in the middle of the square tables, with candles and white flowers inside of a huge glass square as centre, sooooo fancy!!
Then at the entrace they had a huge bar with a bar tender whom made the most fancy wierd tropical drinks in fuccia, green, blue colors! :)
Then a huge table of chocolates with mini cakes for the guests, inside a lil transparent box and zillions of lil chocolates filled with the most yummy dulce the leche, coconuts, dried fruits and so on...
Every table had it´s own waitress, they served shrimp cockatil with heat palms and golf sause, tenderloin with veggies and potatoes, as desert profiteroli with cream icecream and chocolate funge and of course, chocolate cake! YUMMM!!! OMG LOL Im craving again ha!

We had a great baby shower Saturday, and my dad's birthday dinner was nice. But, my mom just couldn't behave herself. She asked me all these horrible questions about why I wouldn't let lex be alone with them and kept hounding me on how they "never ever abused me." All they wanted to do was "love and encourage me." Then, my sister sent me the nastiest text I've ever gotten. I lost it last night. Heaving tears and all. How can people forget the bad things that happen for 10 years?? Did my mom forget all the pain pills she was addicted to? OR the time she was going to shoot herself and told me it'd be on my head because I didn't protect her from my dad? Or me raising my sister?? It's like when Mimie died, so did all her bad things. But she proves us right EVERY single time. Is it time to cut them off? I don't know if I have the guts. I guess I need to call my therapist, huh?
