And if dh decided he wanted to do it, then it would have been $200 for dh and I and the girls would have been free, but dh still didn't know if he wanted to do it. Hey ladies! Just got to work. I've been meaning to join a gym and kept finding reasons to put it off but no longer. I went there yesterday and have an appt with a personal trainer tomorrow for a session. I already told him to stay on my A$$. I'd really like to lose some weight before baby #2 arrives. We live in a 2 story house and I get so sick of getting winded when I go up the stairs carrying Zack.

Also, I've been trying to pump BM so we can store it for baby #2 because Tara had surgery and can't breastfeed. Well, the Reglan I was taking is not helping me produce anything so I switched over to Domperidone. I just got it yesterday so I'm hoping that will do something. I want to do this so bad for the baby and it makes me so sad that between the drugs and pumping, it's not working.

Oh....and another thing! Tara and I were talking about me going back to school and we have come up with a good plan. I'm going to start getting all my pre-requisites out of the way now and next year sign up for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program. I really need to get a degree and my current job is nice but doesn't really pay that much. This way I'll always have a job in the medical field and maybe Tara and I can occassionally work together since she is a Physical Therapist and runs a Rehab Center.

DH is having sinus surgery this week so I am single mom this week along with another assessment/test for my job, and official transition to my new job. We are going to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner, then heading down to Channelside for a round of cocktails, then taking the trolley down to Ybor City to my favorite Blues Club to listen to some live music :) Hopefully I can convince dh to hit one of the trendy dance clubs for some booty shaking after he's had a few!! Hey all!!! Our weekend was okay. Zack was a monster, I think he's teething. That better be it or I'm going to be down 1 less toddler...LOL!

Tara felt horrible yesterday, but the dr called in a prescription and it seems to be working. On a good note, we got to go out to dinner on Sat with some friends while my Mom babysat. It felt great to have an adult night out, even if it was only for 3 hours!

Speaking of Kit Kats..... I have been on my diet for a month now (gosh is seems a lot longer) and I lost 13 pounds. I am kind of sad its not more but 13 is better than nothing right! And at this rate in 6 months or a little less I will have hit my goal weight!

I think I weighed in at 194 a few weeks ago, but I don't know right now. I don't have a scale, but I'm doing my asessment with my trainer in the morning.

I walked a good bit last week, but nothing special. This week marks a new beginning. lol. I did do crunches with a baby and leg lifts every morning with him, though.

Eating was good until yesterday. Mil fries everything and coats it in salt adn butter, so I ate mostly veggies and rice krispy treats. lol.

Goal is 140.

God I so don't want to work!!! and I have couple of things to do.....
So I was talking to my mom on Thursday (before she left) and came up with the crazy idea of working (if I must work, then do something I enjoy) with children... like on a daycare or a school..... I even thought about researching on Early Education programs... YES I AM NUTS!!!!!!!
The advantage of working for a school would be the vacations, right?? no need to put the kids on daycare all summer!!

So our date day on Saturday was wonderful!!

Our weather was so nice that we changed our plans!! My mom was here at 11am, we left at Noon. And dh and I went CANOEING!! It was wonderful and really taught us a lot about our marriage. I think canoeing in general is a great metaphor for marriage. We learned thru this adventure where our weaknesses are and our strengths, as a couple. He barks orders, and I don't follow ;) If he asks me nicely, then wow, what a difference!!

After our canoeing, we went to the botanical gardens and just laid on the grass (shade of bamboo trees) and talked talked talked. Came home about 5pm, changed into our dress clothing, went out to dinner, then to a movie and then home by 10:30pm. Dh was right...I wasn't ready to leave the babies overnight.

Pretty much....or in our case, if you have to much momentum built up and the a33 in the back doesn't know how to steer, then into the spanish moss which was hanging from some low Cypress, which was full of spiders, which ended up in my hair :( Communication started shortly after that!

Did I say I give ice cream to my kids? ;) Only McDonald's ice cream cones. They are free for the kids at our McD's. ;)

While I don't like the labels persay, I do like having a room full of women who do parent like me. I like knowing that if I'm asking them for advice, then hopefully they'll have tried it themselves and had some success with it.

Peas and mashed potatoes is one of my favorite food combos ever. I always have peas with my mashed potatoes. There used to be a restaurant in Chicago called the Mashed Potato Club and I are there once and got mashed potatoes with peas, bacon, chives, sour cream and bacon with melted cheddar on top.

So apparently DH's ex won the Mother of the Year Award :rolleyes: (note the sarcasm in the sentence) yesterday.... she decided not to make dinner for her son and other wonderful things... anyways Dh was telling me about it, and said that in couple of years he would go to court and see if his son can stay with us full time :shock: LORD HELP ME!!! once the Judge can take his feelings into consideration... and then he went about how he would be a better child if we are both involved and support and teach him... HELLO??? did he forgot that last time he pretty much said I had no responsability for his son, that it was none of my business, and now he wants to play happy family?? I don't think so!!!
Unless he makes a HUGE effort and his son starts showing some respect for me, and willing to recognize that I exist, I am doing nothing!!!
