Okay, update on the meeting room. Basically, we got it unless someone else wants it whose willing to pay for it...kwim?? No business is going to have a conference on Sat at 5pm though so I think we are safe unless there is a huge bday party or something. They have 3 conf rooms though...

Yep. If it's in a sunny place and not doing well, then repot it into a bigger pot. Do you keep it in a planter with a dish? If not, try that. And fill the dish up with water. The plant will soak the water up thru its roots and then when the dish is dry, you'll know it's time to add more water to the dish.

Dh sent me a letter this morning:
Please also let me know if you still want me to pick you up. I may be wrong, but it seems pretty clear to me now that you asking me if I wanted to meet you at the lawyers was because you don't want me to pick you up. It is OK if that was your intention because it is pretty obvious to me now that I am just an unfortunate part of your life that you have to deal with, like your job. In fact, it has been pretty obvious for a long time now. I would very much like to work with you on getting you back, but I don't know if that is even possible any more. I am sure that the major reason you feel this way about me is my lack of help with the house and the kids. I know that I am still lacking with this in a big way. I am very sorry, but I am having a terribly hard time with motivation for this since you were supposed to try to be closer to me and that has not worked either. I am not even talking about what you are 100% sure I am talking about. I am talking about true intimacy and closeness. Every time you give me a kiss my grandmother would give me, a feeling of sadness and despair like no other goes through me. Now maybe I just have really bad breath and you won't tell me for some reason, but I think it is more the other thing.

I am getting to the point where I don't even really care if I go on any more. I know that if I was not here anymore, you would be able to pack up the kids and move back home and be with your parents who could finally spend the time they want with the grandkids. Really.... he writes things and he makes me feel like crap.... but I am tired of him blaming everything on me, and getting upset when I suggest things. I told him yesterday after the bankruptcy I want to put money aside because we have no savings, he said lets increase our 401K... um no, I want short time savings, and he just rolled his eyes and said no to all my options... then I told him I wanted to be more in control (knowledgeable) on where we are spending the money (because I let him do that) and he thinks I said "I am going to take the checkbook and limit the amount of money you spend".... when all I asked for is a budget and a commitment to stick with it!!! and guess what, he got pissy when I said I would like to stay home when the kids go to school... he doesn't want me to because he doesn't want to be "deprived"... of the expensive crap he buys...... ARGH!!

I need to calm down and write him back.... I just cannt......

I want to thank you for filling out all the paperwork, even the part that you just filled in what we discussed and figured out together. I appreciate everything you are doing for this, as I appreciate everything you do otherwise. From your previous e-mail, I don't know how much longer there will be an us, but please know that I do appreciate everything you do for us and our family. If there is still an "our family" after this, I will show you how much I appreciate you by either finding a way to balance what I like to do with contributing to the family in every way I can or abandon all my stupid hobbies and dedicate myself to relieving lots of the stress and work off of you when it comes to the family. Nothing I like to do would ever be worth losing you. It may be too late now, but if not, I will literally do whatever it takes to turn myself around and be the husband and father I need to be. I have been thinking a lot lately, and I am starting to think that with Dani and Chris, there might not be any way for me to pursue any of my interests and be as involved and productive as I need to be at home. If that is really the case, then I will give up my stupid hobbies so I can concentrate on our family.

My problems are
1. for him everything is black and white... he helps or not, has a hobby or not. There is no happy medium, he just doesn't know how to BALANCE things!!!
2. He has said things like this for the last 2 years, things are fine and dandy for a week, then everything goes back to the way it was... I am losing faith that he ACTUALLY wants to make things work
3. He always plays the BOO HOO BOO HOO I WILL STOP DOING WHAT I LIKE IF YOU WANT ME TO card.... and then of course he resents me because "I made him quit his hobby"

Claudia I am your friend and I am going to give you my honest thoughts on this. I think he does love you but even his love seems to be selfish. I think that even though he is saying its all his fault and he is sorry it has a woe is me tone. Every thing he says seems to be taken to an extream. I would tell him you need to both be in counciling and maybe even both of you in individual therephy too! Sorry sweety I know how hard this is but if he means what he says in the letters than he will go with you. I think he words were 1/2 honest but also 1/2 of it seems to want you to feel sorry for him.

Just found out today that in addition to having the ear tubes surgery on Monday, Zack will probably also be getting his adnoids removed at the same time. Ugh....my poor baby.

I had an interesting experience when I left the hospital after her surgery with cops being in the parking garage with their guns drawn - I posted the whole story in random. I was happy to get out of the heck out of there especially after all that...

Erica, thanks so much for the good thoughts and I'm glad that Abbie's surgery went well. Scary thing about the parking garage.

It rains everyday in Florida so I'm not going to freak about the weather. It could rain for 10 minutes and be gone. I'm sure there are inside places there if it gets too bad or we could go back to the hotel and come back later in the afternoon. Everyone should have the cell phone list so please call someone when you get to the park and we'll let you know where we are at. Lynn and I plan on getting to the park around 9:30 or 10am. Everyone drive safely and can't wait to see you all!!!!!

Dh just called and he told me that the Leiutenant did not want to cover his shift, so it is either we lose the money we already paid for the hotel or he gets fired if somenody decides to stab his/her spouse and DH can't go on the call. KWIM?

On the other hand I don't want my DH get fired or demoted, he is on the list for promotion to Leiutenat that would be awaful!!

Good morning ladies..had a bad night..put lucea to bed at 9:00 and about 10:30 we hear "MAMA" at the top of the stairs and i took her to my bed..she rolled around and cried and held her belly so i took her downstairs where she played and whined and held her belly than sh ehad a huge yucky messy diaper so i figured it was just something she ate..than 30 min later BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHh PUKE all over..twice so she had a restless night..but no fever nothing she is fine except for the bellly problem..she has an ear appt today so they can check her all over..i am going ot take the afternoon off so that when dh goes to work i can be with her..so i am going on not much sleep..so icant be held responsible for what i say today..

I agree with you Stacy, it rains 20 min and then it is over. There are couple of covered places we can go in case it rains, so no biggie there.
It is supposed to be a little warm, around 70, so that is great!! Sunday will be cold, so bring sweaters.
According to the weather channel, chances of rain are only 20% for tomorrow!!!

DH is being all nice to me, but has :( because I haven't answered the letter he sent me yesterday, or said a peep... I am still thinking what to say, I am confused and I don't want to say the wrong thing here

Well, I called my friends and it seems that EVERYBODY has plans because of the long weekend. I even called Hope to come with us but she is slammed with work and she has to complete it ASAP.

It is going to snow today and DH doesn't want me to drive with DD in the cold weather. We have decided that we will stay home.

I am crying right now because I really want to see everybody, I promise that I have booked my hotel and paid for it (and won't get a refund but:rolleyes:)

DH told me that he knows how bad I want to see Claudia and the kids and he promised me a trip to Orlando in the next weeks or so. He knows that is very special for me and I know he will do it for me.

I am sooo sorry ladies, but my eyes are not good enough for me to drive at night, I have a really bad vision problem that can't be solved, not even with surgery, I hate it

Once again, I apologize but I don't want my DH get fired if something happens in town and he can not respond to the call :( or to drive at night with my DD when I know my eyes won't be of help for me:(

I was *this* close to coming tomorrow. I went on campus with Ronin today and tried to do a daycare drop-off at the center on campus for students, but it was full :( So I strolled over to talk with my professor and she chatted up with Ro for a bit, but there was no way he'd make it thru a 6 hour class, so I have to go to class tomorrow :( Bummer.
