Ahhhh.....we're home from the girls' Holiday musical at school. So dang cute :) Ella did such a good job, I was so proud of her and Haley both. They were only a handful of the children who knew all the words to the songs they were singing. Goes to show that my crazy Christmas song obession is being passed down!!

I squeezed them both hundred times, spent a lot if time with them playes everything! went home for lunch and we all ate together and then hang out after lunch for 1 1/2 hours :lol:

you guys my DH had me so upset last night :x :(

we got home and after a bit it was time for bed, cy was bullheaded and didnt want to go..kept saying im hungry im hungry..so i took lucea and said to DH you handle him..

well i am in bed with lucea and i hear cy crying for like 5 minutes..over and over saying i am hungry i am hungry..dh says you are not you just ate..stop cryin or your going downstairs alone :shock: than i hear fine get yourself a quick snack..i was so upset i grabbed lucea 1/2 asleep went down sat her on DH lap and said here take her so i can deal with this..i told cy to get his snack and come upstairs to read a book before bed..he ate his snack i read a book and he went to bed..why couldnt have dh dont this int he first place..given him a ****ing snack, took him up and read him a book why did it have to be a battle liek that a who is superior thing ya know..i loath him rigth now..i am so upset with the way he handled it..and than to tell cy he was gonna have to go downstairs alone if he didnt stop crying..i mean hello cy was really upset do you think he will be any better if you put him inthe basement alone so you dont have to listen to him :x i cant even talk to him..why cant he put as much effort into his parenting and marrige that he puts into ****ing hunting..i am so irrate..the only time he seems frickin happy is hunting hell with his family.. :(

DH did the same thing the other day, Danielle is awake at 6 am, so I tell her I am taking a shower (the night he went to sleep to his son's room) and to stay in the room... I am getting out of the shower and hear this SCREAM coming from downstairs, so I grab a towel and run downstairs.... just to see Dh with a long face and Dani crying her guts out because she wanted YOGURT and Dh would not give it to her :shock: :x

That would be enough reason for me not to get a divorce... I would not trust my DH with my kids, period (and worse is that I see how he is with his son, so I am not imagining things here!!!)

Last night Katelyn woke up around 3 when I went into the bathroom. So DH gets up to comfort her and she says "bed, bed, bed" ovr and over and is pointing to our bed. He was all, "No, now you have to sleep in your bed" "I said give her to me. I'll snuggle her and then put her back in her bed when she falls asleep." Why can't he even think to do that?

I eyerolled my teenager earlier because my DD is having a pissy fit because when we go to BG I won't be riding the rollercoasters and there will be nothing to do because there is nothing for the little ones... :roll:

Well our Christmas is different than yours...
We have a fancy dinner with family at home on Christmas eve, the at misnight we cheer and then open the gifts, we end like at 3 am :lol:
and that´s it!
On christmas day, kids play with their new toys while we have leftove lunch at my moms :wink:

Poor LuLu. Shots are awful. Lex had his 2nd flu shot yesterday. I felt for the little guy. He pouted for a while. We put off his 15 month shots until January due to us being out of town next week.

I once read a post here on APA that sex is how men express their emotions. Women do moreso by talking. So, you denying them would be like them ignoring you. You know? That 'kind of' struck a cord with me....but lately I haven't been in the mood cuz I am not happy in my own skin, and uncomfortable with my body.

Oh and...apparently "I" forgot to give my son his medicine for ADD and he was taken out of class today because of behavior. The teacher called me. Why can't a 14 (almost 15) y/o kid remember to take his medicine. Its on the counter in the kitchen for goodness sake. Not like its hidden in a med cabinet. They say I enable him, but if I don't put it out for him THIS kinda crap happens. So how do you stop enabling and still let him be successful?

So, I got some lovely Christmas cards in the mail this past week :)

I also got a set of written comments from one of my professors. I had to give a 3 hour inservice presentation, with a partner, back in October, and...wow...my head is so swelled from her praise. She wrote "The two of you made an excellent team. You should consider co-presenting at FAME. You did IT with your icebreaker! What an excellent way to build expectation and to put the audience at ease."

My partner and I kicked serious booty. We got along so well. She's very driven, 2 years older than me, living in sin with no children. And funny funny funny. We signed up for all the same classes for the Spring semester b/c we wanted to be together incase any more group projects came up!!

Ugh men! My DH just called me from his brothers phone. Right after he spoke to me at lunch time he went to put his cell phone back in the clip on his belt and the phone bounced out, onto the floor, out the railing (he was on a balcony on the 29th floor) and dropped to the ground. Why? The good news is we have insureance on his phone that we pay $5.00 a month for. The bad news is it has a $50.00 deductible.

I try to put Chris in socks to sleep in, but I don't like sleeping in pants (TMI) so when I put pants on him I always think he's uncomfortable. :roll: He sleeps with me and if I roll over and feel that he's uncovered I feel bad because his legs are frozen.

Hey girls! Things have been crazy yet fun! I took Morgan to see the Chipmonk movie today and tomorrow is her Christmas party at her day care and then the next day is my sister's birthday party at my house then Sunday is church and Christmas at my Grandmas then Monday is at my Moms and Tuesday back home for Christmas day. Hey girls, just wanted to say a quick HI! before bed. I'm so tired. Between delivering flowers, wrapping more presents and doing laundry to get ready for this weekend, I'm pooped!

Tonight, I made a goody box for Zack's daycare teachers. I made banana nut bread and blueberry muffins but also bought cookies, rice crispy treats, chips and candy to put in there also. I also gave his teachers cash in their xmas cards.

I did it!

I decided awhile back that there was no way I could finish nursing school and still be as devoted to Kenna as I would like. I knew I was going to have to wait until she was in school, but that doesnt work, either.
Sooo....
Today I sent for my information to register to be an ultrasound tech. There is great child care right on campus! I can instruct them to not change her and I can provide all of her food. I can change her and nurse her (if needed) between classes. The school I am going to is called Gateway Community College. It is a sister school to the college I already took entrance exams for, so I dont need to do anything other than enroll.
I can go to school and still be super attached. I knew there was a way and I found it! Im really excited. They pay in this field is great, the jobs are plenty and its something challenging that I would enjoy.
Thank you for showing me that it is possible to be a rad mom, continue your education and still be able to do all the things you love.
You are such an inspiration!!!

Here is the dirt on that...
See, when I first joined, we werent married. There was a huge debate going on about people calling their boy friends DH even though they werent. I dont know why anyone cared, but they did. I wasnt married and wasnt going to pretend to be. So, since he is 6'5" and was the daddy, Big Daddy seemed appropriate, and even laughable. The trouble was that I couldnt abbreviate it with anything. Big Daddy = BD. :shock: DBF just seemed silly to me, so I left it at that.
However, we got married and he is plain ol' Dh now. :D
We had planned to be married long before we got pg, even though we were ttc for awhile. After the m/c and everything, it went on the back burner. I ended up getting married when I was 7 months pg.

I get the bad mommy award today. :( Last night Katelyn walked with me to get the mail. She was standing right next to me on the sidewalk when I reached into the mailbox, her legs went out from under her (no we don't even have ice or snow on the ground) and she "SMACKED" her head on the sidewalk. Ugh! It made this awful noise and now she has a big red knot on her forehead. Bad Mommy!

Good morning :)

We had such a nice morning. Dh got up early, made the coffee, brought the trio into bed, and then brought us our coffee in bed. We all snuggled and watched the morning news :) It was so nice and dh didn't want to leave to go to work. But after today he'll home until next Wednesday :) We have big plans!! Tomorrow my family is coming up to celebrate the Holiday, Sunday we are going to Dinosaur World, Monday we are heading down to Channelside for dinner and a kids movie and then Tuesday is Christmas :) Yeah!!

I am taking the trio to a Holiday storytime at the library today. We're leaving here at 10am.

Don't be jealous. I just don't share all the crappy stuff that goes on. And we have our fair share too.....

For example, I get up at least once a night with Ella. Usually around 1am. But I don't post about it b/c I'm okay with it and don't need any advice, etc.... Ronin also bites. But it's just a phase and it too will pass.

I'm still thinking about it. I got an e-mail from the school head and he said that they were collecting all the resumes and that the shortlist would be called for an interview in January. I won't know if I made the shortlist until then. But I can't imagine that I won't get an interview.

I am off next week, Monday is cleaning day.... Wednesday is shopping day (for my family, got extra days as my parents are coming), Thursday I am going to Daytona with DH, and then to Jax to see Stacy, Zack and Tara on Friday!!! then back to Orlando to pick up Abuelos on Saturday!!!

Hi everyone! I'm here today too. Last day of work until next Friday, woohoo! :D I can't wait to stay at home with Chris for a week straight! Of course at the end of that week I will probably be begging for a break. He can be quite the handful. :lol:

It looks like we're not getting a bonus this year at work and it really sucks! We all figured we wouldn't just because our company was recently sold to someone else. However, there have been rumors that we'll get one after the New Year. I sure do hope so. I LOVE getting a bonus.

Tonight and tomorrow I have to do my last minute Christmas shopping. I do it every year and I always say I'm not going to wait till the last minute, but here I am 4 days from Christmas and the only one I have bought for is Chris. :shock: It will be ok though. All the grandparents are getting a framed picture of Chris and I know they will love it. Tonight, I'm going to Kohl's and shopping my little heart out. They always have great deals on frames and they are also having 50-60 percent off all frames!

I wish I could break out of this joint and go shopping! Alas, I will be here until 5:00. :? Are Sarah and Tracy both on Christmas break already? I think Tracy said her break started today, but I don't know about Sarah.
