Tara is feeling really good. Sore boobs and tired all the time though. BP is still running high, but she's tracking it daily and we have changed our eating habits tremendously. It's too early to tell if that's helped, but we are being positive about it. Just looking forward to our appt on 1/3 with the OB.

So Danielle woke up 1:30 am and was apparently done sleeping... I tried to make her go back to bed and I did for like 10 min, went back to bed and she started MAMI, so I got up and went to her room... Dh got up also and I told him "she is calling for me, I will go", so I went in trying to get her back to sleep... after a while I am falling asleep and she is not, so I decide to take her to our room, and notice DH is GONE!!! he got upset and went to sleep on his son's room... so Dani stayed with me in the bed and I had the WORST sleep ever!!! she moves like a maniac and kept kicking me.... anyways fast forward to the morning, I wake up and she is awake... I get into the shower and when I am done I hear her SCREAMING!! ran downstairs all wet, and I found her in the kitchen and DH was there... he said "she is fine, she wanted yogurt but I told her no" (a drinkable one, she makes a mess!!).... he could have said something before I almost had a heart attack, and he could have given her a yogurt, but no, she is in tears and I have to calm her down and take her upstairs... and then DH wonders why I am upset??? am I crazy for being upset??

So I can barely stay awake today, and then I got scolded at work because of a stupid scorecard... yeah because it is my fault that customers do not send their financial statements on time..... :roll:

DH just called me...they don't like him cause they send the blood work out and can't confirm the pregnancy until Monday.

I hear ya...we were almost negative until yesterday. Tara is self employed and contracts to this company who only pays once a month. This is how it goes...

Worked all of October and submitted invoice on Nov 1

Gets paycheck yesterday 12/13

Ugh.....the company takes 30-45 days to pay you so it's very tight after the 30 days. I mean I'm still getting paid in the mean while, but my paychecks are very very small compared to Tara. She's my sugar Mama!!

We have a rental home and we were planing on doing this, it is good for people with no credit, it gives you a chance to buikd up your credit and the rent you pay goes to the down payments, could be all or a percentage, but if you DO NOT qualify for a mortgage then you lose all the money that was supossed to go for the down payment, KWIM??

It is like if you put a hold on the house until you get on your feet in regards to credit, be careful. I had MANY cases like this where the owner "change" his/her mind at the last minute and sold the house to somebody else or just took the money and didn't reimburse.

Check with a good attorney before signing something, I hope is not too late. This is supossed to work for both ends but that doesn't happen all the time.

We changed our mind, because the rental is in a area that will be developed soon, so we are holding the property until we get the right offer.

We were buying a house and we had everything ready, the house was around 120K, so we thought we were making a good deal, then when I actually wentto see where the house was, it was like waaayy in the country and at the time I didn't drive, so I told DH that I didn't like the location of it.

DH's friend heard about us looking for a house and he asked DH to go take a look at his property because he wanted to see "how much it woild be to renovate it, so off we went and the house was a sheet hole, I told DH I rather live out in the country than in this house.

Long story short. DH's friend offered us his house for the original price he paid in 1987, it was a deal we couldn't refuse, so we bought our house for 80K and right after we got it appraised, it was valued at 125k!! :shock: , of course it has taken us FIVE freaking years to renovate it (still not finished) and I seriously am tired of living under counstruction, but hey, we have a roof on our heads right??

You'll se something will some up for you too, and I bet it will be better than before :wink:

BTW, the first house is not almost in a centric location due to the fast outgrowing of the area, but I still don't like it over there 8) We live right off the main interstates and 2 miles from the mall, you can't beat that :wink:

Sigh....I just watched another update. One child at the apartment survived, but sadly, I don't think it was either of his children as he had custody of them and they said 2 children were found dead at his home, so I'm betting it's Oliva and Magnus :cry: They are nearly the same age as Haley & Ella. It's so heartbreaking. I called my husband just in tears. Him and Oliver had played chess together a handful of times. :cry:

Hey ladies!! it is cold in here too... Dani and Chris went out bundled up and wearing hats and mittens (they are getting a cold). I also brought blankets in the car.... can you tell I have NO CLUE what to do in cold weather???? :lol:

Our weekend was fun!! we went to the ICE thing, it was crowded and took forever to get there, but it was worth it.... Dani loved the ice and did OK with the parka, and she LOVED the ice slide. Chris slept the whole time

Dh is being more supportive, he gave Dani a bath yesterday and fed Chris... HE OFFERED!!! he told me he is going to work on being more helpful, as I am working on the WIFE role (I am stuck with the mom one)

And the best of all... MY PARENTS ARE COMING ON THE 29!!! I asked my mom for help to care for my kids as the daycare lady is about to have her baby.... so my dad has vacations till Jan 7 (Which makes me laugh because he owns the company but he is too responsible), so they are flying the 29, my dad goes back the 8th, my mom will stay another week..... I am so happy!!!!

A total of 19 credit hours, while working at least 30 hours a week and not putting Amanda in daycare. It was insane, but it is done!!! WoooHooo! The hardest part was the last 4 weeks, being preggo and sick. UGH. Earned all As in my grad classes and a few Bs in my undergrad history classes. I'm so glad to be done!!!

So, it's only been about 16 weeks, what did I miss????

My semester went awesome. 2 A+'s (even though I only earned a 99.5% in one class, she still gave me an A+.) I'm on break until January 7th. I only took 8 credit hours though...can't imagine 19...even in undergrad, the most I ever took was 15 and I wasn't working at all!

Well, I was no where near a 99% in any of mine, heck they don't even give A+/- around here. An A is an A. :D Nice job Jenny!

Just my 7 hours of graduate classes were plenty. The 12 in undergrad just about killed me, it's rough going from ED 555 to History 133. That was my Monday evening schedule. TOTALLY different atmospheres. For 16 weeks, my husbands has been like this: :shock: He has been awesome though. He even did his own laundry once I started with the morning sickness :wink: I just had to laugh.

The super nice thing is that I'll only have 3 classes left to finish my master's once this new baby gets here. THAT will be so super nice!


By the way, how's the weather down there. I just need to live vicariously (sp?) through someone.

Good morning ladies!

I was so proud of Zack today. We have been going thru chronic ear infections so we have an appt with an ENT dr and we saw the allergist today. Well, he wanted to do the allergy skin test, but I had given him his allergy medicine so the only way we could do it was a blood draw. I was so nervous as I drove to the lab. They put the needle in his arm for the vial and he didn't even cry or anything! He just looked at them like "what are you doing?" He was such a big boy!!! I'm hoping if we get the allergies under control then we won't have to do tubes.

My SIL is coming over on Christmas Day and I suggested I'd make Cinnamon rolls (prob from a tube, but they are GOOD!) and she's making 'homemade' rosettes that BIL and DH's mom used to make when they were kids! Argh. I always do easier stuff, its how I grew up, and now I feel like a bad wife who makes christmas brunch from a can....:( :( :(

We're back. Lex is down for his nap. The concert was hilarious! The pre-k class did a live nativity, the others sang songs to tunes they already knew, and the toddlers had to be constantly wrangled during jingle bells. One lady had to sit with Lex bcs he wanted to see what was on the altar. I laughed so hard.

And for some freak reason, it didn't record. :shock:

When Tyler did a performance for the holidays when he was about 2.5, they sang a song about a "Grey Squirrel" (Don't ask me) but they told them to sing loud so here is Tyler screaming at the top of his longs with his face all contorted 'GREY SQUIRREL, GREY SQUIRREL" It was hilarious. I got that on tape but my son has since lost the VHS tape that it was on... :cry:

Thanks :) As I'm sitting here thinking about it, I think I could totally manage it. I'd be able to bring Haley with me to the school since the go from PK3-12th grade, and then put Ronin and Ella somewhere together. Maybe somewhere near dh and he would be the one having to deal with their pickup/dropoff. This school is rated #1 in Tampa and is literally right up the street from my house.

ETA: And then my library classes...I'm confident I have a good method in place, so am positive I could swing taking 2 per semester.

So...I told my dh about the job last night, and he is totally against it. He thinks if I think I can *handle* working full-time, taking 2 classes and my household duties, that I should just take 4 classes, finish my degree sooner and then go back to work once I have my media specialist certification. He's probably right. He's always right.

Trisha...you can totally be an AP mama and work, go to school, etc...totally. I've just let a lot of little things go (like the laundry) and ask my dh for a lot more assistance with stuff.
