It is 85* F today!! I am so sick and tired of this weather, my kids are wearing SHORTS today!!!

We put some lights outside yesterday and Dani was all diligent helping, it was too cute. She brought her stool to help Daddy... then she fell and scrape her nose, so it is all red and with a scab :(

Let me start by saying I love the church I go to I have to drive 45 minutes to get there but I love it! My whole family goes there and I have been going for 3 1/2 years. They started a Sunday school class for 19-30 year olds I tought it for a while but now the pastor teaches it. Its an ok class but it only has 5 people! :shock: Our church runs around 400 people. I decided yesterday that that class isn't for me I am almost 10 years older than most the people in the class. :roll: Any way I emailed the pastor and his wife to tell them what a good job they were doing and that I apreciated every thing they were doing for the "life" class but that I didn't feel like I belonged in that class. The responce was "Just where is your nich then?". I feel as if maybe its time for me to find another church. I have been going there this long and I have not one frined in my church. :cry:

That is sad......maybe start touring churches in your area and find one. DH and I did that and seriously felt the church we go to now "click" for us. We actually look FORWARD to going each week.

I am going to start my own church then... HA HA HA!! I am a BAD Catholic compared to the ones in here... one time I did this test and my "ideal" church was like reformed Jewish... what a trip!!
Seriously, I would love a church that truly has the community feeling, where the members are your extended family and you feel comfortable and not pressured around them, and where you can make friends for life.... is this possible?? I know it is because that is what I grew up on.... my parents and couple other friends started a Community within the Catholic Church, and it is just awesome... it was probably about 30 years ago, and my parents still see the people who founded it...... funny enough the name of our community is SHALOM, and yes it is Catholic!!

I was born/raised catholic...so was DH. We ended up joining a Lutheran church. Small/community based, much more laid back but consisitent enough in our beliefs and OK when our beliefs differ.

Katie has become a lap baby. It is so sweet. She does not watch tv and normally she is so 'busy' she does not have time to sit still long enough to eat. I am eating it up!!!! She is also wanting to sleep with me. I was against it since it took me about 10 years to get Dylan out of my bed but how can i put her in her crib and she cry for mama and mamas bed???? I do not know what I should do. I really want her in her bed but also will not deny her if she wants me.

So i say honey to Katie when she gets hurt. Not all the time. Like I opened the frig and she walked right in between me and the door so it hit her in the head. I said "honey!!, are you ok?" And if she hits her head on the table trying to get in the chair its , honey!!! don't do that. Now everytime she does something she says honey. hehehe it is so cute.

I decided next year I am going to change daycare, I am tired of the crap with the home daycares... yes it would be a little more expensive, but at least I don't have to keep taking days off or making other arrangements because the lady is not available!!

LOL I was talking about this with a guy I know. He works with a guy who is so stink'n rich its not even funny. The rich guy is so unhappy. Me there isn't a month that goes by that I am not on my knees praying to God that I will find a way to pay the 445 for day care but I am one of the happiest people I know. :lol: Some times I think its not always the best thing when our children get every thing handed to them and never have to work for what they get. On the other hand my mom some times thinks I am crule because I make Morgan clean her room for extra's. Like yesterday she helped me with the dishes and I took her to our local coffee shop and got her a fruit smoothie. But she had to work for it. LOL

Well... with Morgan is very important to me for her to learn to help me clean and to keep up after her own stuff. I mean I work two jobs and have very little free time so if we are going to get to spend any fun time out and about I need her to be able to help me out around the house. I know she is young but she really doesn't seem to mind. Also I am always right there with her helping her clean and we make every thing into a game (even if it means cleaning takes longer LOL).

Totally agree...... I didn't had an allowance when I was little, but I made my bed, cleaned my room, did dishes, help with cooking or cleaning the table, etc... we didn't got ALL we wanted, but we were spoiled from time to time......
I also have Danielle help me, she puts her stuff in the sink and helps me with the laundry, and she loves to mop... discipline is one of the best gifts you can give to your children

I also believe that the BEST gift you can give to your kids is quality time with them... the time I sit down and be silly with my kids, I dance with them or just play is the BEST time of my life...

Ugh.....thanks for asking but it's not good news. I hate to even gripe after what Jai is going thru, it really puts things into perspective.

Tara started having raised blood pressure a few months ago. It has been kind of "high normal" but her bottom number is always high. Well yesterday she had an appt with her family dr for something else and her BP was 140/102. Yikes! So we called the OB and they said to track it for the next week (she can do that at work) and let them know on Friday if it's still high. Well, today it was still 100 on the bottom #. You really don't want to take BP medicine in the first trimester so I don't know what we are going to do. To make matters worse, Tara is very much the breadwinner and if she has to go on bedrest, it will about bankrupt us. She is self employed with only herself so she cannot get short term disability or AFlac or anything like that (we checked).

Please just say a prayer for us that her BP goes down and all is well. Thanks!!

I don't know much about SS benefits or Medicaid, but I'd say probably No. The problem is we have a 2nd house we have been trying to sell for over a year and if we could get rid of that, then it wouldn't be so dire. We do have renters in there now, but we lose money every month they are there. The money thing will work itself out, I just want her BP to go down so she and the baby are both okay.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest, Lynn.

Stacy, have her really watch her diet. MSG is in SO many of our prepared foods from salad dressing to pastas, etc...things that you wouldn't even expect. So that would be my first step. Cut out ALL MSG, salt and baking soda. And increase fruits and vegetables and fiber.

you are not bringing enough air to your brain, that's why you feel light headed, drink lots of water and rest for a bit on ever rest step you see, take it easy and don't just try to hurry to get up there.

I don't use the stairs at work because they are in the back of the building and it scares me that nobody would hear me if something goes bad.

Sarah, I saw somewhere on the TV (like Dr Phil) a couple where the Dh was paralized from the waist down and could not performe... and he didn't wanted his wife to go without sex, so they agreed that she could go and find someone to take care of her needs..... whatever works for them, right??? I have considered doing the same for DH... but the only way I would do it is if I could CLONE myself :lol: , so one clone will come to work, one will be available for DH 24/7 and will clean the house, and I will take care of my kids :mrgreen:

I feel that way sometimes because I don't agree with a lot of things on this site, which even though I love you all, means I am kinda glad I won't have as much time once January hits.

I mean, I haven't gotten more out of anything in awhile, nor have I had anything make me feel like such a child in awhile, hence my love/hate relationship.

Ok ladies, I thought I would come to ya'll with this. Latley I have been feeling kind of out of place on APA. Chris is getting big (2 in April) and I'm not PG and TTC is kind of at a stand still. Am I just being dumb? I feel like I don't really belong anywhere now. :(

Ok I have a question. You see that adorable little boy in Candice's picture?!? Well, Katelyn's hair is exactly the same as Chris' (well not color or length so I guess not exaclty the same). The texture (cute little curl wisps) is the same.

For a girl...what do I do with that. No two pieces seem to be the same length so that I can pull it up or back. Any suggestions.
