When my friend got married, only her family and us were in the ceremony, people didn't show up until 2 am!! after the food was served!! She had to hire the servers for a couple more hours because the grooms' guests were sooooo freaking late, DH was like :shock: and my mexican friends were soo embarrassed!!

It was bad, only DH and DD's god-mother's DH were the only Americans in the party :?

ETA, ohh yeah, we invited people at 5pm for DD's party in peru and people started showing up around 6ish or 7pm, lol At least they went. And we stayed until 1am!! :shock:

we stayed at this hotel from the Marriot Chain, it is called Townsuites and it is about 10 min from BG
it is beautiful!! we had a suite with kitchen and everything, it had 2 rooms with queen size beds, and one of those sofa beds (also queen size) in the living room. With AAA rate, we paid less than $100/ night for 5 people (ok the kids don't count, but you get my drift)

AVOID the Best Western @ Busch Gardens, it is CRAP!!!

The other good option is the Winngate Inn, but those are not suites

I don't mean to offend you, but I think there are bigger issues in a marriage that need to be taken care than just worrying if your DH chewed tobacco or not.

The only thing you will get from this is your DH hiding more stuff from you, stop nagging him, men don't like that.

Let it go, you will take that worry of your shoulders and your DH won't need to hide his tabacco from you.

DH is allowed to smoke his cigar ONLY when is outside of home, he can not smoke inside home or around DD, he usually asks me if he can smoke or not, but when he is around his buddies, he does it anyways. PEER PRESSURE.

If it is something he enjoys what cut him on that?? Just let him do it but you set the rules like, honey, next time you buy your stuff just let me know so I can balance the check book, or it would be nice if you only do it outside home and not around the kids.

last night i had all these good intentions of going hoem and making chinese food for supper..so i get home and get out the meet to add the teriyaki saucea and i start the rice..i put it in the water and notice hmm some small brown things floating in the rice..hmm i look closer like is that bugs..so i dump it out and get a whole new bag sealed adn all and start over..do it again and hmm more brown things floating i inspect them super close and cant really tell if they are bugs or pieces of the rice..call my dad he says eat the dumb stuff its fine..so i dump the rest of the sealed bag onto a place and UGH bugs crawl around..ugh ugh ugh i emptied out everything into the garbage and the kids had ramen and chicken strips and i had left overs :roll: how the hell do those buggers live in a sealed bag. :x oh well ihad good intentions..i called my dad and said thanks dad they were bugs

You may want to check the rest of the grain products in your pantry. Right before we moved, we discovered we had pantry beetles (specifically, cigarette beetles). We had to chuck everything in our pantry, including cans because they can live on the rim. You can freeze stuff for 7-10 days to kill them, but we were moving sooner than that. They are really invasive and can get into any plastic bag, etc. Ugh so annoying!!

Hey, the townsuites sounds great. I'd love it if we could all stay together in the same place. Taking Monday off for me would be no problem because I have vacation, but Tara is self employed and if she takes it off she doesn't get paid. Since she's the main breadwinner, it really hurts when that happens. If ya'll don't mind meeting at BG on saturday, I'll definitely be there. Ok I'm about an hour south of Stuart. So I will allow for 4 hours. Hmm what time does BG open on Saturdays. N/m I could go read all the details on their website. Just lazy and thinking out loud, or on paper, I mean the computer...

Bugs inside the house... HATE THEM!!! we just got rid of ants that were invading our kitchen... took a while, but they are gone! we also had Wasps, but those were easier to deal with :roll:

Almost Friday ladies, big plans for the weekend?? I want to take the kids to see the houses decorated for Christmas!

Isn' it funny how one of us can say how we feel about something and it makes someone else go hmmmmm about their own life. Happens to me all the time with you guys!


This weekend is errands on Saturday and DH and I are taking the motorcycle to a birthday party Saturday night. Wooo Hoo grown up stuff!

Sunday I have a baby shower to go to with my DD because she does not want to go alone. A friend of hers (18) is having a baby in January.

I promise. Not sure about the money, but my personal opinion is that it is best to go in winter. It is waaaaayy too hot to stand outdoors in lines during the summer when everyone else and their uncle is on Summer vacation as well. It gets miserable at times.

You definitely want to come when school is in because then the bigger kids won't be there and cold is definitely a must! Nothing like standing in line for a ride for an hour in 100 degree weather! LOL!

ok yeah NO i dont want to stand in line in 100 degree weather..no way..DH wants to go all out when we do it stay at the disney resort and stuff make it easy and conveinent for us all..


so what do you do about christmas cards..i ordered 50 cause thats abotu all we could spend $$ on this season and i really dont mail out that many..i want to mail some to my apa mommies but i know i cant mail to all of them.should i do none or some.i dotn want hurt feelings :(

Grrrr...where is everyone? My belly hurts again...

Katelyn has a drippy nose. She slept sort of upright last night. Then this morning I'm driving to my Mom's and she :sneeze: and a big green ball of snot comes out. I'm all panicked and I have to find a tissue and can't reach her cuz I'm driving. I handed her the tissue and said "Wipe your nose" It was then all over her face :yuck:

I usualy listen to Glen Beck..they were talking about the recent shooting in Nebraska..I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE SHOOTING OR SHOOTER CAUSE WE ALL KNOW IT WAS AWFUL..i dont want this to be a disturbing news story post that gets deleted..

But they said he was a 19 year old KID, who had just lost his girlfriend and his job at mcdonalds..and just had enough..wanted to go out in style :(

this scared me..when do kids loose their sense of life, sense of importance, of whats important, what matters, how great life is..?

I thought of cy being 19, going through tough times. I mean shiit now at 8 years old he gets so sad when he fights with a friend, when he has a hard day, when he gets really sad he will say I HATE LIFE..ya know out of the mouth of a child but still..do i think cy is "one of those" of course not but still when do parents loose that grip on their children? when do they sink down to far to help them?

i remember being 15 and it being the biggest thing in your life when your BF broke up with you or your Best freind wouldnt talk to you..it crushed your world..but most of us got over it, grew up, moved on with life, we were ok.

im not a big worrier, i am very laid back and easy going when it comes to my children. But its hard being a mom and wanting to make everything ok, wanting your child to be happy not to worry, not to stress over petty things whether they are 8 years old or 19 years old..we know at our age that these things dont matter in the grand scheme of things..a friend wont talk to you at 13 honestly it will be ok, in a month it wont matter but it does to them..

how do you get to them, how do you not loose hold of those strings to keep them up.

i dont want my kids to sink so far ever that i loose that ability to help them, to make them see life is so importnat and so wonderful and their so lucky to be alive..all we can do is our best..but its hard to think that we can only do so much..

Sarah - It is very scary raising our babes. I'm not sure I know the answers but we try our best to love and support them.

Tyler says on occasions..."My life sucks..." And I respond with "Oh really? What's so bad? You have a Family that loves you dearly. You have a roof over your head, a warm bed at night and food for your belly. Think of the people that don't have those simple things." Kinda makes him go ...yeah.
