Its so weird me and cy lived alone for like 4 years and it never phased me a bit..now with DH gone i find myself double checking doors to make sure htey are locked and such..like i have become used to him being around :lol: :roll: hard to believe..i used to be so darn independent..

took lulu into the walk in clinic last night for the neverending cold its been 4-5 weeks now of yucky nose, eyes, cough. Dhs dad brought up a wrapped thing for lucea for christmas..DH said its a toy storage bin..hmmm ok .. we really dont have room for a large toy box..its pretty darn big box..but what can ya do..we wont know for sure what it looks like or how big it is till chrismas..but he also got cy a remote control car..UMM HERE IS THE KICKER..it was to big to fit in the mini van they cameup in :shock: cy will more than likely love it but..its the middle of winter where will he drive it till summer..and also i just thre out 5 remote control cars because we cant keep on batteries and remotes to cares ya know..so i tossed them all :( now i have a HUGE ONE!! i sound so uncareing and selfish and mean dont i..but i wish peopel woudl ask..is there naything the kids really want or need ya know..matts mom always asks and i send her a list of things she can choose from or not ya know..but i hate having him waste his money on stuff we cant fit in our home or that just wont get used .. :( :( talk about being frickin scrooge huh i suck today :( i should just be thankful they got things from them..

I am the same way, I think most of the toys are a complete waste of money, specially the ones that use batteries... I have only bought my kids couple of toys and they do play with them... everything else has been presents
With my IL we always send lists on what to get the kids, that way I can control things.... with my parents they always ask, but we are not big into Xmas presents. This year they gave us money for the kids, and my parents agreed the savings accounts were a terrific idea

Lynn, I think Katelyn just figured out she can put things in her ears... don't make a big deal and she will stop soon
With Dani, the big indicators for ear infection (both times) were nasty coughs at night, and fever

Our Turkey Day was excellent. Dh spent the day before laying concrete and ended up with a concrete burn on his stomach. :shock: Man, it's just like raw skin. Poor guy. My TG was a disaster, DH and I had a fight because of ... who else??? Yep the evil and her evil child, this fight ended up good tho, I spent TG with SIL and DH with MIL, DH told me that it was the worst punishment I could EVER give him to spend an entire holiday with his mom, lol

DH went to SC looking for DD and I, he missed us soo much that he drove on black friday traffic to be with us :lol: kuddos for me because I won this battle with the evil.

And on the brightest side of the story, the evil told DH that she and SD are moving to Spain!!!! :shock: :shock: I have heard this sooo many times, but this time around DH and I are quite sure they may leave because one of the reasons why the evil is ready to leave is because her mom is running out of money and can't afford paying the evil's bills anymore, so she is going to live with her grandparents because they promised her they would support her expenses, lol. That is what I called PATHETIC!!!

So at the end DH and I back together and happier than ever getting ready for our cruise and he is kinda upset because he doesn't want SD to leave but the evil has a saying here because she is the primary cutodian and SD is being such a selfish brat that DH and I can't stand being around her and her evilness anymore (DH's words :cry: )

My family usualy always has christmas at someone house..whos ever it is..we thought my sis would have it at her house this year..largest house..but when the figured out how many peopel (around 30) they decided to split the families up...my sisters husbands family will be having dinner at their house and our side of the family will be renting some room at my grandmas apart complex for x-mas..i dont like the idea of xmas at a conference type room place..seems so impersonal..at my sisters or whoevers house we always got to hang out afterwards, relax, chat, lay around on the floor or couch, kids could play.and now yeah his family get to be there but our gets to be at at darn meeting room.. :?

We just did Thanksgiving at my grandparent's club house at their condo.

IT ROCKED!! Seriously was so awesome. They had 3 big couches, the big screen TV and nothing that the kids could break, so essentially it was 100% childproofed. Full kitchen, fridge, etc...seperate bathrooms for men/women, etc...

Ya, if it was set up with just tables and chairs, I'd be quite ticked off myself. If your mom can't have it at her house, can you have it at yours? We've had as many as 31 people in our home...but we have the big backyard and nice weather year 'round so not everyone was inside all of the time.

AND due to my C/S my OB wouldn't put an IUD in until 6 months post partum which would have put me somewhere in mid-October......sooooo DH called and got a V/S done in September and we used condoms :evil: :evil: :evil: until now when we got the all clear.

He was told 'most' men are all clear by 6 weeks or 25 'emissions'

It isn't bad. I watched the procedure....we were in and out (ha!) in under 30 min. He was a bit of a baby afterwards because he was afraid to do his first Emission, but after that it was easy peasy. :)
