So, I went to go get laundry tokens, and scored a bunch of minature Reeses. I'm not really a glutton, but Nina was so insistent I take them...so I did. You don't have to ask me more than twice (honestly, I kept saying, "no", then finally, "if you insist" ). I don't plan on eating them (well, not immediately), but temporarily, at least, I have replenished C's Halloween stash. (I nailed her candy during the last week--PMS and M&M's for breakfast--breakfast of champions).
But, hey, I got my butt into some pre-pregnancy jeans today! Yay! :D So that is why I'm not eating all of those Reeses.

Ugh...small stuff is irritating me. I just went down to transfer my laundry to the dryer, and jammed the 2nd chip in it. So, now I will have to transfer it all over to the other dryer. I would just go back over to the manager's office, but I know Nina was laying down when I was over before (she is the 39-year-old who had a heart attack recently). I'm trying to be considerate...and I'm only irritated b/c it's always happening and they don't maintain the machines the way they should.
Okay, mini-vent over.
This and the place on the beach are the only places where I never had a washer and dryer in the house, and it is so inconvenient. The past 2 weeks with 2 sick kids, I was doing a ton of laundry....Plus it adds up. Makes the rent not so economical with the cost, and they keep raising the rent when no one else is.
Guess I wasn't done, huh?

Jenny - My older kids went through that too. I felt awful being the parent of the biter...but would have felt worse as the parent of the bitten. I know that is so bad. They outgrow it.
So my sister, who WAS on board for Thanksgiving and cooking healthy and nutricious (since DH and I are dieting) has thrown all that out the window and decided she is making stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, pumpkin pie, etc. All because her husband said "Well other people are going to want the typical Thanksgiving food." I have days with Ciara...Ronin is young enough to be understandable. Ciara did it at about that age, too, and I would just tell her, "no biting, be nice" and re-direct her/show her gentle while rubbing her arm. But she just took a bite out of me the other day, and I know she knows better than that! I know she's acting out, and has been, since Drake. But when she does things like that, ugh...I can't have a monster on my hands. And I know it's wanting attention. Some days it's so dang hard, but I see such a difference in her attitude if she gets some undivided attention. And, really, I do feel guilty at times, too, b/c I can't give her one-on-one time.

Well, you just say the heck with it for one day...
I have a warped mind-set about dieting, too, but I do give myself some liberty for the Holidays. Not all the way through it, which is how everyone packs on a few, but for those days in particular. I used to deny myself, but why be miserable? And low-fat and healthy can taste pretty good, but real butter? Mmmm...

That is auto-immune disease. You are fortunate, though, to have a diagnosis....I am positive for both the Rheumatoid factor, and anti-cardio lipin. I am supposed to be re-tested for the anti-cardio lipin (which is, essentially, Lupus factor). It is frustrating, because I have good days and bad. And, well, just weird stuff that happens to me...inflammed ureter several times (hurts like a biotch), muscle weakness, and visual disturbances. But, I was told, that autoimmune diseases are like the new frontier. I think there will be advances, so have hope!!!

About to leave for the day but wanted to leave you with one more comment!
When you have a "I Hate My Job" day, try this:
On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson. Be very sure you get this brand.
When you get home, lock your doors, draw the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed. Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favorite chair. Open the package and remove the thermometer. Carefully place it on a table or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken.
Now the fun part begins. Take out the literature from the box and read it carefully. You will notice that in small print there is a statement:
"Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and then sanitized ".
Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times,
"I am so glad I do not work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson."

OMG ladies, I am off for the day and you go crazy with 200 pages!!
Sarah, my mom has a friend who was diagnosed with MS probably 10 years ago, she is still alive and kicking!! THERE IS HOPE!!!!
Oh, and I would TOTALLY drive to see my grandpa!
I am ALL for a meeting in FL... I would drive, no problem. I like Tampa, the aquarium is FUN!!! or the MOSI.... I will go anywhere but Miami... I get lost too easy over there
So Danielle is calling my mom Mami, which makes sense because I call her Mami.... anyways yesterday after work I came home and both of the kids were sleeping, Dani woke up and my dad went to get her... she came downstairs, saw me sitting in the floor and smiled, then she RAN to my mom and hugged her, and called her Mami.... it broke my heart not to see that or to hear it, but to see how much my kids love the Abuelos and know that they cannot see them that often... SUCKS!!!
Anyways, it is Friday and it is COLD in here!! I have soup & sandwich for lunch, and must go get me coffee

Bear with me ladies. I feel like I got punched in the stomach. Keep in mind I have jaw-line length naturally curly hair....
So last night watching CSI DH was talking about the girl that left the show and goes "You know I love long, straight hair... (I heard nothing else after that)...but on her the bodywave looks better."
I know he wasn't meaning it to hurt me. He would never do that. But all I could imagine was if he loves long straight hair, WTF is he doing with me? I was      I cried, silently. He saw it and goes "I never meant it about you!"
How could I not make it about me? He loves something that I am not nor do I have? I just keep thinking now that every time he looks at me he wishes that I had long straight hair...
So of course this was right after BDing and he got all made at me cuz I ruined his "afterglow". I told him he just didn't get what I was saying to to stop talking about it.

It is freezing here today Claudia!! I have my heat on, yet the patio door 1/2 open so that Ronin the Ravage can play on the porch.
Tonight it's supposed to be down into the 40's!!! Brrr....
MOSI is fun...especially in January. The aquarium is awesome, but so much better in the summer when the kids can play outside!!!
Hey Clau, how nice she loves them even if she dont see them too often, maybe youi should take a nice pic with the abuelos and both babies and do a giant pic placed in their dresser, so she can always see them
It´s oddly cold here also, not cold but nice...super strange since we usually are above 100 at this time of the year...wierd wierd

BEL, great minds think alike... we are doing professional pictures on Sunday for my parents and the kids. And just recently I made Dani an album with pictures of her and my family, so she remembers them!!
Lynn, I would have punched DH as well... mine does that from time to time, makes remarks of what other women have that I don't... I am so sick and tired of those comments I just ignore them, but my answer is always "well I am sorry you had to settle with the fat, no butt, saggy boobs woman" and move on...... but I am THIS tempted to answer back with a detailed description on the "ideal" man for me, and make him feel like CRAP about it
Where is Stacy???? I miss you girl!!
Jenny

Awww Lyn. Big hugs.
I colored my hair last week from blond to kind of strawberry blond (more red than blond for sure.) My dh said a off-hand remark about how he married a blond, not a redhead and blah blah blah. I looked at him and said "well, I married a man that had hair, and now he's bald. Deal with it."
He hasn't said anything since.
I'm sorry he was so insensitive. Sometimes they just don't get it.

My plan B is moving in with Pam and make her my domestic partner
Wahoo!!! Works for me!!
Girls you went crazy after I left work!!! I had to ready several pages!
Sorry if this is long but read it because it’s about a guy! LOL
Back ground….my first love was a boy named Chris and we started “dating†when I was in middle school and we ended up staying together for 8 years and I broke up with him (don’t ask me why I still kick myself over this one). Any way Chris was grunge, I was the prep type and Chris had a good friend Mike who was cowboy. LOL We were quite the motley crew hanging out together. Even though Mike and Chris were friends it was easy for everyone to see Mike liked me. He had no problem asking me out at least weekly for a whole year. Mike and Chris grew apart and stopped being good friends. I think the love triangle got too hard on all of us because we all wanted to be friends but at the same time I wasn’t going to give up Chris he was the love of my life!
Fast Forward 10 years later…. Chris is who knows where. I do know he is happily married to a wonderful girl (I met her while they were dating and Chris and I were having a fling on the side) and they have a girl who is about Morgans age maybe a little older. Me…… well….. You know my long saga. Mike he is a State trooper and pretty high up on the chain. Never married no kids and still lives on his parent’s dairy farm to help take care of his parents and the farm.
Last night my sister talked me into going to American Drive Inn (our little burger joint) for dinner I didn’t want to go. But I went any way and he walked in behind me. He approached me. We talked like we were still best friends and in high school again. He told me about his job his family and asked about mine. He asked (by name) about every member of my family even my grandparents. Without him saying to much (because we didn’t want to ruin the good time) he let me know that the past year while I went through all the crap with Grant he had been in the back group keeping an eye on me and all the court stuff. My sister watched Morgan and played with her so that we could talk he also talk to Lisa as if they were best friends. Any way we had to go so I told him bye and then said…If you ever get board give me a call. He didn’t ask for my phone number. I was bummed! My sister was right there she assures me that I did nothing wrong and didn’t miss read him. He has always been the shy cowboy type when it comes to girls. Any way now I am kicking myself! I don’t want another 10 years to pass before I see him again but I don’t know what I should do!
Girls I am not saying he is my forever but I would love to go out with him and see! Pray God finds a way to put us back in the same place at the same time. Ugh!! I need to find a reason to call him that doesn’t seem like stalking! I don’t have his number so first I would have to find a way to get his phone number LOL.
nooooo jenny! you have the most awesome trio
I dunno id stacy is taking all us her wifes with or without babies...
we would look as the brady bunch

Pam, that sounds wonderful!! I am convinced good things happen when you least expect them, and they happen for a reason. I was smiling when I read about him "keeping an eye on you", and the fact that both of you were comfortable like it was 10 years ago is promising
I would get his number (white pages anyone??) call him and tell him it was nice to see him, and that you would like to get together to catch up... maybe for coffee or informal dinner, and I would tell him Morgan will be with you. If you are friends, you don't need a lame excuse to call him!!
:vibes: I am excited for you!!!

All that in an hour Sarah??? It takes me 10 min just to leave the parking lot
I want to go home, I am tired of being here... I am tired of working here.... this lady told me "where you on vacations? I haven't seen you around".... I just laughed because it confirmed my theory that I am the office ghost :?
Maybe I should use the expensive gas argument and tell DH it is more expensive for me to come to work than staying home... yeah because he is going to buy that one!!!
Pam, I am secretly jealous of your little crush with this guy Chris (?) and the whole excitment of seeing him... I miss that!!!

Hey girls, popping in for a few mins.
Nothing new my way. I lead a boring life.
Thanksgiving is almost here. Where has this year gone??/ I could not wait until turkey day this year because my preggy sickness would be over and being pregnant I could eat all I wanted. Well today I have been throwing up all day with a major heartburn. This better be gone by Thursday. Maybe it is the stress of thinking about dealing with MIL that day. LOL!!

Morning my friends!!! time for the roll call!!!
Bel, YAY for AF!! I am glad she is back and you are happy. I posted in your Pictures thread
Sarah, glad you had a fun time and that you saw the grandparents. Now you have an excuse to go back and visit your GF
Stacy, have fun, we will miss you!!! yeah for the cook out, weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!
Lynn, your sister is flying in today??? I love when family visits!! hope you enjoy the sissy time!
I had a wonderful weekend, went to the car show and Dani had a blast running all over the place and getting inside the cars... she loved the minivans, the convertibles and the hummer
Sunday we went to JCPenney to take pictures with Abuelos, and Dani was FREAKING OUT!! so the pictures are not great, but have a big sentimental value... Chris was a cutie, he posed and smiled the whole time
I had wonderful conversations with my mom and told her all the problems with DH, and she was very supportive... she is coming back in January when the daycare lady is having her baby, to take care of my kids (I am paying for her ticket).
My parents enjoyed the kids to no extend, and the kids enjoyed abuelos, it was wonderful...... but they left this morning and I already miss them... Dani was all sad and cried when I left her at daycare, she wanted to go back with abuelos
At least it is a short week...... I just don't have the mind to be here... I am sad because my parents are gone
Anyways, as promised, here are the pictures of Dani's birthday

What a doll Claudia :D
Bel, your family portrait is beautiful
A little personal info...yes, I saw the psychiatrist on friday. He put me on klonapin. I take it at night and it the morning. The first day it made me really sleepy, but yesterday was great. I could leave the house and drive without feeling like I was on the verge of panic, and go places I had been avoiding (agoraphobia). It's no nice to feel like I'm released from this prison of constant anxiety, and can go and enjoy doing things again. And even though it isn't an anti-depressant, feeling better makes me feel like there is possibilty in life.
Im so happy your doing better Sherry!
Thanks for the compliments girls.
Clau must be so sad to see them leave, Im happy your mom will be able to come back on january

Wow all your photos are just awesome!! Beautiful families. Glad you had fun at the car show, Claudia.
I took the trio to a Winter Festival on Saturday night. It was supposed to snow every hour, but it was a fake snow...really soap. Ronin HATED Santa and screamed the entire time he was on his lap. Ella RAN away as fast as she could and the police had to hold her while I dealt with Ro and Haley. Haley was so tired by this time and was less than impressed with Santa and Santa was less than impressed by them!! Here is a photo

And here's a photo of Haley getting snoaped on.

Our deck is almost done. DH works 1/2 day tomorrow and then is off until next MONDAY!! WooHoo!! The concrete for the deck gets poured on Wednesday. I can't wait. I am so sick of the dirt being tracked into the house. I have been a sweeping dusting fool, but I refuse to mop until the concrete is poured b/c they just track more dirt inside.
newmami
11-19-2007, 11:38 AM

Hey Minna, we don't have strangers here, only long lost friends!!!
Check the party stores, I am sure you can find a cat suit
Soup and panini sound so much better than my grilled chicken and lettuce... yeah I am trying to be good about food :?
Pam, my dad came back from Canada with the crazy idea to have a farm!! they stayed on a nice B&B that was a huge farm, and he got a kick out of it... maybe I should move to AR with my parents and leave DH in FL
I want apple cider....... but I have to settle with Chai Tea
Good idea to take the little ones to see Santa... after Danielle's meltdown with the pictures, I am afraid she will hate me for life if I try to sit her with Santa!!!

11-19-2007, 12:55 PM
Bo's first pics with santa were at 4 yrs old. He refused up until he was in preschool. Then he did it at school without me, go figure. I guess we'll see if Mikey is the same way. With Bo we would always get in line and then he would say "no momma" "I don't want to Momma"

good morning ladies.
My last morning of having to get up at 7 for a a week and 1/2. Whoo hoo!!! I tried Katie to sleep in so hopefully all next week I will be sleeping in to about 9.
On a sad note my baby boy will not be here and will be far, far away. i hate it when he goes to Disney. Don't get me wrong I love that his dad takes him and he has a blast but I pray all day every day that he is ok.
Anyone dreading turkey day??? I have 2 familys fighting over who gets to see Katie and I don't want to go to either. MIL's brother will be in town and we do not get along, plus grandMIL said "this is his first time up for Thanksgiving so we are going to make a big deal about it" Can I make a big deal and be a ***** to him. hehehe He is just one of those that hes kids are perfect and his grandkids are geniuses and the best ball players in the world and my son will never even come close to being good enough plus they have to moan and groan about my ex dh. Then the other side that wants us there is stepMIL and I have never been good enough for them either. They are just nice to my face because of the babies.
I wish my family did Thanksgiving so I could say we were going there but we are all so scattered that it is hard to get together. My parents go to K&W.
Anyway I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and eat until our hearts content.
My Florida girls please keep your ears open to anything bad happening at Disney next week. My biggest fear is a roller coaster crashing.
Jenny
11-20-2007, 07:41 AM

Sex during the holidays, or sex for that matters.... my poor Dh is barely surviving without it, so I will give in today... the poor thing!!
Tracy, Dylan will be OK, if something happens, I will RUN to Disney and help him, OK??
Yay Lynn for spending time with your sister.... I love my sisters to death!! I hope they can come next year for Chris' birthday

Bel my EX DH used to make fun of me because every day on my calendar is marked with some thing to make it a special day! (meaning we can have magical sex LOL) Like a year ago Friday Morgan cut her 7th tooth so for me its a holiday and we have to have magical sex!
Some times I think I need to move in with Claudia to take her DH off her hands! I would just be there for sexual release! LOL

Pam, you will ALWAYS be welcome in my house, and I am sure DH would not mind having you around
As long as he doesn't want a threesome, I am fine!!!
If sex in my house wasn't so dull and predictable, I would honestly be more into it
Bel, tell your customer to sue the hotel that doesn't have rooms available!!! you are not the one who handles their reservations, right??? MORON!!!! :x
Am I the only one having a hard time coming up with Christmas presents for me??????
I told him everything clau, he is just a moron? duh
LOL clau what can you do to make it more enjoyable? kamasutra??
You´re not the only one who can figure out what to ask, I have tons I could, but I just know they are too expensive to ask for them :?

Bel - as if it is your fault the hotel doesn't have rooms! pfffffttttt!
Tracy - Give Dylan my number. I can be there in 2.5 hours if he needs me! I'm sure everything will be fine and he'll have a great time! Sorry about the in-laws. Just come down here and spend it with us and then neither of them get you!
