yep we have a waterproof mattress she is in a toddler bed. The bad part is having to wash sheets all the time and she HATES having to change her PJ's in the middle of the night. :roll:

She doesn't get up on her own to go pee in the middle of the night? Maybe you can put a pair of pullups on OVER her big girl panties. That will keep her PJ's dry, but her panties will be wet and she'll know that she's had a miss.

Good morning ladies, I feel as if someone has beaten me with a big timber...on the top of it, I just logged 5 mins on saturday night to find out Taela went to heaven, and cryied almost one hor straight that nigh...

I was at the expo from 9 to 8pm every day, friday, saturday and sunday, and yesterday we had the final party to close the evnt up to 3 am :shock:

Our stand was the most enjoyable and prettiest of all expo, but sadly we couldnt get any award (which was us for sure, for far) as my brother is the president of the assosiation that organizes the expo, and vice president of our company, damit Im so sad...I really worked hard to win the first place, I just didnt knew we couldnt won :cry: :cry:

OK after my baby sitter being so kind to hold the check. I groomed 3 dogs for a lady on Saturday (this is the money I needed to be able to pay the baby sitter) and when she picked up her dogs she hands me a check (no tip :roll: and I give her a huge( 20 d0llars or more) dicount because she has 3 dogs) and says don't deposit this unti Thursday because thats when my husband gets paid. Ya, dh and I had the "sex talk" last night. He's pretty much told me and I told him too, that we're no longer 20 so our lives don't revolve around sex like it did back then. He took it a step further and said now that we are done pro-creating, he doesn't see much point to sex. Hello lovely ladies!! I hated to come back to APA to hear about baby Taela... my heart is broken! And I missed the balloon release, so I am getting one today

Yesterday I had a busy day, cleaning because my Parents arrive today (YEAH!!) and dealing with a kid who is afraid of the vaccum, and another one who wants to climb on it..... :roll: then lunch didn't agree with me, so I spent the afternoon feeling like crap :?

Weekend was GREAT!! we went shopping and I got TONS of clothes for the kids :mrgreen: DH was feeling very guilty about the money issue.... he is also going to buy them a table for the back yard, and we decided on Christmas presents as well! I also got a little vaccum cleaner I wanted!! we were browsing on Costco and DH came with it and PAID FOR IT!!!

Today Dh is staying home with the kids :shock: ... he is working from home, but I can expect a phone call at anytime with him screaming!! I had to leave him instructions on what to do with the kids!!
The other thing I did was finish putting letters on the walls in the kids' room, they are sooo cool!!

So life is good and it will be better this afternoon, when Abuelos are here to visit

She is finally getting better about Drake, too. Last night she kept wanting to give him kisses. Although she would occassionally pat his head and the like before, she was not really willing to have much to do with him.

Lunch was good but I am stuffed. DH is handling the kids very nicely... Dani didn't got her hair combed, but that was it (and it doesn't look bad at all). They had decent breakfast and DH brougth all he needed on the diaper bag.... Chris ate with us and Dani as always ate perfectly without making a mess... I am so proud of her

things with DH are improving, he is being less selfish... I showed him an album I made on shutterfly for the grandparents, and he cried......

Visa gift cards are great for people you don't know that well or some one who lives far away from you. I think I would be upset if my Mom, Dad or sister did that but they should know me well enough to be able to buy a gift or a least pick a place they know I like to shop at. Yes the Police Officer was 76 years old (not that that matters) but had a very kind heart. The guy was in a transport ambulance type vehicle because he complaine dof a bad back. He must have started really complaining like he was in pain because the Police Officer pulled over and opened the doors. That is when the guy attacked him. (must have gotten out of his handcuffs

So my parents rented a car for me as they are using my van (because of the carseats for the kids), they got a RAV-4.... it is awesome!! drives beautiful and it is small and roomy.
They are so cute, they spent their anniversay celebration at a B&B in Quebec, and they told everbody they were celebrating... and got a beautiful dinner with FRESH deer and fresh veggies the Inkeeper grows... he had couple of hunters over, so they shared the deer... made me think of the Hunting widows from APA!!

This year my sister is coming down and doing all the cooking. I have absolutely no stress this year! Yay me! She usually breezes in from Georgia the night before or the morning of Thanksgiving and then leaves on Saturday. This year they are coming Monday night to help prepare everything and I really don't have to cook.


I hate the holidays because of the stress of working and trying to get all the other stuff like decorating and cooking and shopping done on the weekends. By January 1...I'm a nut case. :wink:

As for family, last year we did not exchange with my parents, etc., and I'm not even sure what the "policy" is this year. We still do small gifts that no one was supposed to do :roll: I started a scrapbook for my mom last year, did some baked goods, and small gifts.

The little twit that is giving DD a hard time over calling the COPS when she hit my son with her car came to our house last night and tied an inflated condom to our door. Too bad for her my son was walking his dog outside and saw her do it. I immediately called her father! :evil: He said he would take care of it and was pissed! I'm sick of this crap. I even mentioned the threatened "egging" of our house and told him his daughter's name was the first one I would tell to the COPS. :twisted:

So the little bday party for Dani was so much fun!! we had all Dora decorations and I got balloons for her!! got home with the balloons, and Dani almost fainted!! we all wore party hats and opened the presents, she had a BLAST with the instruments my parents got for her!!! then we put some music and all of us were dancing and playing the instruments (my dad, mom, Chris, Dani & me) we looked like the crazy bunch, but we had soooo much fun! We ate pizza and then we had the cake, Dani blew the candle like a pro and LOVED the cake (Dora of course). It was just beautiful and having my parents here was the best thing ever!! Abuelo and I gave Dani a bath, and my mom came upstairs to put Chris to bed, and they kissed Dani and told her how much they loved her and how happy she made them 2 years ago... Abuela was crying, my dad was choking, it was just PERFECT!!!

Anyways, I am excited about Christmas shopping!! I am not getting tons of things for the kids either because I am not used to that!!
I made a photoalbum for my parents and the IL... see if I can post it here so you can see it... DH cried when he saw it!

WARNING TMI and a bit CRUDE

OK so AF showed up yesterday afternoon when I got home. She is a week and 4 days late I was hoping I was just going to skip this month. Last month she only stayed around 3 days and was very light. I am paying for it now!!! Girls… I think I may need a blood transfusion! I think I may need to trade my office chair in for a bucket. My legs are cramping my head hurts. Do any of you get leg cramps when AF comes to town? My legs ache so badly! Also I am bloated I look like I am 20 months prego! GRRRR~ I hope she leaves by BLACK FRIDAY or I am going to be so mad!

Yes, my parents are a HOOT!!!! specially my dad... that is why I am so crazy and have so much fun... but you know what?? I realized my kids are happy because I am a happy person around them, and it is so much fun I would not trade it for ANYTHING!!!
I believe DH was feeling a little embarrased, thinking Mexican fools.... yeah, we cared so much when we went to pick up pizzas my parents kept the dancing!!!

OK, how much of a party pooper am I?? today we have a potluck at work and of course I didn't cook anything because I had a party!! so I am sneaking out at lunch time and tell people my parents came to pick me up for lunch :twisted: ... don't feel like socializing with people here!! :roll:

Next weekend we are doing Christmas shopping... my IL are easy because they usually ask for gift cards (easier as they live in CA). So it would be for my kids and DH's son
We went to TRU last weekend and Dh said "I need to get Kyle interested in something besides videogames, that is ALL he cares for"... well DUH!! that is all he does at home and in the car (courtesy of the stupid DS).... and he told me this while Dani was trying all the tricycles and begging to play with a ball!!! HE HE HE!!!
BTW, I am getting Dani a tool set because she saw me putting letters in her room (for her and Chris) and she was pretending to nail them as well

:( you guys my grandma is in the hospital..he had a annurism (sp?) awhile back and now had and upper and lower GI bleed??? now clue what that is..i am so medial dense..and they patched them both but said there is a 70% chance they wont hold and he will have to go back into surgery :( they told my grandma she couldnt care for him alone at home but she said she would not put him into a home..she is a nurse but older so phsically not able to .. i think we are heading out tomarow to go see him for the weekend
