No this one is 100% on me! My sister-in-law and I have never seen eye to eye on any thing. Not on how to be a wife, how to raise children or even how to balance a check book! We put that aside and became surface friends (because any one who can put up with my brother for 3 years needs respect). Well... about a week and a half ago my sister in laws mother contacted me and we started talking via email and in the 2nd email she said don't tell Kat we are talking or she will get mad and all hell will break loose! I (knowing this was a bad idea) said OK (I think I am so desperate for a friend that I didn't care) and we emailed and talked on the phone and what not. Well.... I don't hava a spouce to talk to just to vent about stupid stuff so I had been telling my mom every thing for the last year. Well... I said to her Mom Kat's mom and i have been talking but she doesn't want David and kat to know so don't say any thing. I told my mom what we talked about and blah blah blah. Well... the frist chance my mom got she told David and Kat we were talking and what we had talked about. They blew up ourside of the family isn't suposed to talk to her side and visa versa. When they confrounted Kat's mom she was so hurt by me not keeping our secret that she let them read all my emails and messages. Needless to say I had vented to her about how I didn't think they were doing some things right and blah blah blah. What I never said in those emails was... It doesn't really matter if they can't budget or they don't raise there kids the way I think they should. Thats my brother and I will always love him. So it seems as if I was just attacking them.

I know I was wrong I know this is all my fault. Gosip gets you every time! I just so badly needed a friend needed some one to talk to and I didn't care who it was. I can tell every one in the family I am sorry until I am blue in the face but it won't take away the hurt they feel that I said those things about them. I shouldn't have said any of it but kind feel like I was tricked at the same time because I was just responding to the things Kats mom was already saying but of course she didn't show them the emails I was getting from her where she started the conversation saying things about them. I guess it really doesn't matter what she did because what I did was wrong and now I have no way to fix this. :cry:

My hair was really long, and I chopped alot off last feb. The whole haircut and feeling good about it was short-lived since I hardly have the time to blow it out and maintain the look. Back in the day I did, spending an hour to blow it out and take a flat iron to it. It is naturally wavy. I wish it was curly, b/c curly is cute just air-dried.

I told my mom last night that DH is lucky I'm not high-maitenance. The conversation initiated b/c there was barely enough $ in the account to pay the rent. He called me when he discovered that (which I didn't realize it was that low), giving me a hard time b/c I spent $150 on ebay a couple of weeks ago...So, I then called the bank, and he is withdrawing cash like our account is a bottomless well. When I mentioned THAT he says, "I don't want to talk about it right now"...Of course not! And the pinched funds could have nothing to do with his trip to TX at the beginning of the month when we couldn't afford it :roll:

Grr I just want to shake DD into a reality check. She worked all summer and has approx $1200 saved in the bank to buy a car. Now she can't get her driver's license until July 20, 2008, so she really has next summer to save too.

She wants a Honda Civic (oh around $12,000). She thinks I should provide the rest of the money to make up the difference. THAT is NOT happening!

My boss (who I've worked for for 18 years) his Aunt passed away a few months ago and he is the rep of her estate. She had a (nice old lady car) 1996 Toyota Tercel 2 door. The car only has 47,000 miles on it and he wants to sell it to DD for $1200. DH and I think its a steal. I've seen it and drove it. Its in really really good condition!

We haven't told DD yet, but DH pointed one out to her the other day and asked her what about something like that. She said "That is too old."

I just wish I could make her wake up and smell the coffee! I have a feeling she is going to pass this deal up and then be sorry down the road when its too late.

My parents bought me my first car (a 98 neon) crashed it a month later (the day after I got my license), then they bought me another car two months after I crashed the first one ( a 99 Chevy Cav.) I crashed that 23 years later. Then I had to buy my first own car... Not at all what I wanted, but it was cheap and had really low milage, I still had to take out a loan for it, but I am so much more careful (or I've just become a better driver in the last two years) becuase it's my own and I have to pay for it. Insurance, car payments, everything. I think it's great that you are making her buy her own, to me, 500.00 is more than enough help. She'll treat it so much better and be so much more careful if she has to do it all.

I am done with DH.... we are a little short of funds this pay period, but he just sold his stupid camera (a long story, I knew he would end up selling it after using it couple of times only) and got about $3k.... well the kids need warmer clothes (all they have right now are short sleeves and shorts) and it is cooling down in the mornings... so we are listening to the news and they said about a cold front... I told DH "I hope it comes after we get paid, because the kids need clothes" and he said NOTHING!!! his other comment about it was "it is not going to last".... God I am crying just typing this... he has $3000 sitting in his night stand waiting to be spent on a stupid blue ray player and another stupid helicopter, and I have to improvise on what to do to send my kids with warm clothes to daycare!!! credit cards are not an option because they are all closed now

I am so upset!!! he does this constantly, his travel reinbursements and selling crap on ebay is HIS money, and we see none of it. The trip to Tampa, he said HE would pay the hotel and everything with HIS money, and of course nothing happened, we paid with our account.... he then mentioned something about buying a new couch, and I said "we don't have money" and he said he would use some of his.... so a couch is fine, but the stupid trip and CLOTHES are not ok....... Ugh DH irritated the hell out of me last night....today is the day the official day for parents to eat with their kids at school..i go most fridays but its the big day ya know..so i say to cy want me and dad to come eat with you..he says YEAH! i say to DH wanna meet me there around 12:15 for lunch..now kinda laugin he goes "i have plans" i assumed he was jokin cause ok why would he have plans at noon on a wed??? so i said "no really" he says "yeah really ihave plans to get some hunting stuff ready"

No news yet, but I was talking to one of my coworkers about this... first time I told to someone IRL... felt nice!! he is so nice, he told me he and his wife had problems because he was being SELFISH, and they did counseling and it worked out.... then he offered to put us in the prayer list in his church, which made me teary eye.... he is so sweet!!!

Hi everyone. I wasn't on yesterday except for once to check on the swap. I went to the Dr early in the morning to see what to do about my boil. :roll: He gave me a choice of lancing it or doing antibiotics and shots to get it going on it's own. I was too chicken to do the lancing so I agreed to the meds. So, the nurse comes in and says, "I need you to lean over." :shock: Huh? She shot me in both of my hips! :cry: The needle didn't hurt but as soon as she pushed the meds in I started bawling. It hurt soooooooo bad. I can barely walk as it is and then I got shots in my hips?!?! I sat there and cried for like 10 mins and I had to have my sister come pick me up. The boil should burst on it's own within 24 hours, but it's already been 24 hours so I'm thinking any minute now, it will start leaking. :yuck: I just want it to go away. This is seriously almost as bad as when I had my c-section because it is so hard to walk! I'm at work, for now...if it starts leaking, I may have to leave. :cry:

After going to 2 doctors now and getting told No because we volunteered the info about the donor and the genetic problems, I've decided to shut up and not tell doctor #3. I mean, it's our sperm and it's our baby, so it's none of their business in my book...kwim??? We are just paying them to shoot it up there. Tara has agreed to stay quiet but she's not happy about it. I guess she's just more honest than I am but I really don't see a need to tell them. Am I wrong??? Be honest, I can handle it.

Tracy, he didn't really say what causes it but the paper they gave me says it's a "localized infection of a hair follicle. Can be caused by friction or frequent irritation to the skin. My legs rub together at the top :oops: and Saturday we went to Canton, which is this HUGE outdoor flea market. I'm thinking, I was sweating and walking a lot and BAM, I got a boil. :? Another reason, I need to lose weight! So my legs don't touch, although when I was skinny they still touched. :roll:

If it is OK with you, I want to leave the money from the camera out of the checking account so that nobody sees we have it. I won’t do anything with it. It just won’t be visible to anyone. If you want to do something with it, just take it. It will be in my drawer. (because we are going to file bankrupcty)

If you really don’t want anything for Christmas now, just take all the money and do whatever you want with it. It is obvious that I do not deserve any of it, and since I won’t ever be replacing the camera, I can just sell all my other photo equipment and deposit it in the checking account too. Oi Pam, you had the same reaction I did at first.... but I know his games... I would talk to him tonight and ask why his life is so crappy (because we don't have sex every day and because I don't want to become a swinger, THAT is always the answer).... The only thing is, he's in the same bldg as the first dr where our samples are stored. Since they don't have the facilities to store, each month when it's time, they have to go up a floor and get the sample from dr #1. I hope they don't say anything about turning us away. :?

Lynn, I used to get on the back of a bike without a thought...before I had kids. I've been since then, but have the same thoughts...well, mostly, what I'm thinking is, "I hope I survive this b/c I have kids who need a mommy" :? A Harley isn't too bad...it's the littler bikes where I feel like I'm sliding around on the seat that scare me. My mom's boyfriend wrecked his bike and died about 3 years ago, so I haven't been since then. He wasn't an ameteur, either.

Drake had his 2 month appointment, but since he was sick, they just turned it into a sick visit. He's 7 lbs. 10 oz. Still little, but he was 4 lbs 5 oz at birth, and 4 lbs. when he was discharged from NICU. And given that he throws up half of what he eats (which isn't great this Last week)
He is doing well growth wise.

I had my teeth cleaned...finally. I couldn't find a dentist who would do it since I was preggo with Ciara. They all treated it like a contraindication. Between that, and my time on blood thinners, it's been years. So, then they were telling me I had perinodontis (sp?) on some of my teeth. I am like, geez, if you go poking at my gums with a metal pick, yes, some are going to bleed. Okay, so I don't 100% buy it. I have a mouthful of fillings b/c we were scammed when I was a kid (long story, but what they were telling me was decay was staining). So, now, I dentist hop. One will tell me I need something filled now, and 6 months later I go to another, and they say I have no signs of decay :roll:

My parents have been giving Katelyn a pen to play with during the day (like her toys aren't enough). She comes home with writing on her legs, arms, yesterday there was pen mark in her ear :roll: . She really means crayons but calls them pens. My parents don't get it.

Dentist, I really need to see one, but I am TERRIFIED of them, seriously it is bad!! my old one in Mexico thought anesthesia was not necessary for procedures, so he left me with a BIG trauma!!

So DH and I had a loooooong conversation yesterday, with lots of crying and anger.... Dh feels bad about the way he looks, but has no motivation to change it.... it worries me that he is a little too pesimistic and it seems that it is rubbing on me, so it was a HUGE wake up call for me.
He is willing to change (again) so we will see....... I am starting to lose my faith on him, because he changes for a while and then something happens and we are back on square one.... but tomorrow we are going shopping for the kids, and I may go get a pedi & manicure that he owes me.
We will see how it goes........ at least the headache is gone

Hey girls if you have a Christmas craft or cooking ideas lets share them! I am making a lot of the gifts I give this year by hand. Morgan and I will be cooking up gift baskets. LOL We all have people on our Christmas list (like our boss or Sunday School teachers) that we don't really want to spend money on but we know we need to give them a card or something. Here is one of the things I am making. This is a cheap and so cute idea. (Spin off the cookies in a jar thing)

How to make Pint –Size presents
Purchase pint-size, wide-mouthed, straight-sided glass canning jars
Clean and Sterilize and dry the jars
Grease the inside surface of the jars with vegetable shortening to ensure that the cakes will slide out easily.
Fill the jars with 1 cup of batter
Wipe and remove any batter from around the mouth and sides of the jar.
Place the jar on a cookie sheet
Bake the jars and cake batter in preheated oven without the lids, using the temperature and cooking time specified in the recipe.
While the cakes are baking, sterilize the lids and rings by boiling them in water for at least 5 minutes. Leave the lids and rings in the hot water until the cakes have finished baking.
One at a time carefully remove the cakes from the over and wipe the jar’s rim. Immediately place a hot, dry lid and rind on the jar and tighten.
Allow your cakes to cool for several hours. Jar lids will seal as the cake cools.
Store in a refrigerator for three weeks or in Freezer for up to six months
And yes, the cakes will slide out of the far in one piece. With a little trial and error, virtually and cake or quick bread recipe can be baked and sealed in a jar.

Here is the cake rec. I will be using………
Cheery Cherry Almond Cake
2 Cups of Sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
6 large eggs
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon of cherry extract
1 teaspoon of almond extract
3 cups of flower
1 ¼ teaspoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 ounces red food coloring
½ cup dried sweetened cherries chopped
½ cup chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease inside of 8 pint jars with shortening. Mix sugar butter eggs milk cherry extract and almond extract in separate mixing bowl, combine flower baking powder and salt: blend well. Gradually add dry ingredients to liquid ingredients and mix until batter is smoth. Add food coloring fold in cherries and almonds. Pour about 1 cup batter in each car. Bake without lids 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and dry. Seal jars immediately. Let cool Makes 8 jar cakes and each jar cake serves 2 people.

If you don’t like cherries then I have another recp. For a GREAT Hot coco cake!

It is very hard to get out. There isn't a way to do where people are not going to get hurt. I have to admit that the police coming and jerking DH out of the house and sticking his but in jail for the next 2+ years was then only thing that gave me the guts to do it. Also I knew I had to protect Morgan from him. Even with all the Bad Grant had done it was still hard on me because all the abuse in the wold wouldn't stop me from loving him a little bit. I am not that crafty, but DH and I (probably Dani too) are going to bake cookies this year, and I would give those to the managers I work with, and maybe slip some chocolates as well. I love when people make things and give them for presents, for me that is more thoughtgul than buying something at the store!!

For the grandparents, I made scrapbooks on Shutterfly, I finished yesterday, they are ADORABLE (ok I am biased because they are my kids)

I should see if I can make personalized ornaments, I just love those (will google that later)
