Dh was upset yesterday because Chris had a fit (I think he is teething) and we couldn't have sex... so he basically ignored me all night and this morning... I got fed up and decided to give him the cold treatment this morning as well, and he took Dani to the car and hugged me and told me to have a good day, and the usual I love you.... HA HA HA!!! if he is going to play cold game, I will play too... I am tired of him being so selfish

Can I just tell you that DH wants a portrait of the babe on his chest. The guy is in Georgia. Does AWESOME portrait tats but get this. He charges $175.00 an hour with a 4 hour minimum. That's $700 right there. If it takes longer than the 4 hours, well, you get the picture! Basically you reserves him for the day. AND you have to call, send half the money as a deposit, and the picture and then they will call you to make the appointment 4 - 5 months down the road. Don't think he will be getting that one any time soon.

I love it, it's so sexy! :D It was his 1st tattoo ever and he did pretty good with it. I've been encouraging him to get more because I love them. I already have 3! You all will think this is super ghetto, but my cousin did that one and the one I recently got. He's very good at it, and clean needles, clean everything. Best thing is, I get a family discount! I just wish he had been in the biz back when I got my other 2 tats. Could have saved me some money!

Candice, what I do for breakfast is eat some cereal (I like it dry) and a piece of fruit or yogurt. It usually makes me full until lunch time. I agree you should not skip it

heres a story..i was about 20 years old and was taking a trip to jamaica..before i left i transfered money over to my checking aco**** to cover bills that would be going through when i was gone for that week..well i get back and go through the hardees drive through and the lady says sorry we cannot accept a check from you!!! :shock: OMG WHAT so i head to the bank and it turns out the lady who was supposed to transfer the money did transfer into the accoutn but accidently transfered it back out again.. :roll: so they had to pay all the overdraft fees and write letters to the companies that they bounced checks from..she felt rotten about it..well so did i

so hmm acitivties to do this weekend with morgan..we just go through with a lot of warm weathr as well..tonight i am taking the kids to story time at barnes and nobles..the humane society puts it on..and tomarow is family pictures..and hmm thats about it..gosh i am bad with acticity planning..

I guess it really boils down to the fact that... I don't have money to buy food. This week Morgan and I have been eating side iteams and calling it dinner. I feel guilt for every bite I take because I know its a bite she wont get. :cry: God has blessed me and provided in the past. I even got a gift card from some one here at APA!! I have been blessed and I don't spend money on things I dont need. Infact I have been going with out things I need like condisioner, razors, foundation, pads (been making my own with toliet paper), reynolds wrap, sand. baggies, switched to the cheapest laundry soap you can buy, and I could go on and on. I have even gone back to taking baths with Morgan to save on water! :roll: Its just irrating that I still can't afford food! I know all this should prob go in single moms but no one ever goes there and to tell you the truth I am sick about complaining about this so I know you guys have to be sick of hearing it. :wink:

We used to do the Angle food ministry. Ironic part is I did a lot of work and help in that area. I stopped helping when things got so rough at home and I had to start working more hours to pay the bills. About 2 months ago they closed our Angle food. :( Its not just sad for me but all the other people we were helping.

I am sure we will be fine! I am just stressing right now. I have a dog to groom tonight and that will give me 20 dollars. I just have to be wise at how I spend it. I need to be able to get enough food to last until Tuesday. I know that we might not be eating things we want to eat but I can at least get a loaf of bread and some lunch meat. Morgan likes grill cheese. I just hate feeding her the same thing every night but its not going to kill us!

Thanks girls for letting me vent. I am feeling better now. I just get in shock about how much money it cost to live now days! I noticed a gal of milk at Harps is now 4.19! :shock: I don't buy my milk at Harps so I don't pay that but a lot of people do! Sorry for the bad phone calls! I hope it gets better for both of them! I have tried to get gov. help after sucking up my pride I went into the office. The lady told me...#1 I can't get food stamps if my bring home is more than 900 dollars a month and I make 1,010 a month. I can't get help for day care if I make over 900 a month. Also I can't get any medical help if my job offers insurance. I was crying so hard! I looked at her and asked her what she thought I should do and she said..Well.. if you want gov. help you need to stop working or have another baby!

I was beside myself! What part of single do you not understand??? You want me to inpregnate myself so that you can help me feed 2 kids but you wont help with one? Stop working!! How is that impowering us to better ourselfs and make more out of our life? Isn't that just teaching us do nothing and the government will take care of you. Work hard and you get nothing! Sorry I'll get off my soap box now. :soapbox: LOL YOu don't know how much pride sucking I had to do just to walk in those doors and then to be turned away because I make 110 dollars to much. There is no way I could make it on 900 a month. Rent 460, Car 309, Car Ins. 100, Day Care 440 and my check is already gone. This doesn't count gas in the car, food to eat or utilitys. Well... when EX DH would come over if I asked him to change a diapper or what ever he jumped at the chance (btw I was always right their to watch for those of you who know our story). But it does make you think... I mean they complain about it now but if they couldn't do it... if even the small things were taken away from them they would miss it. DH was hurt at work today.
Someone was working on one of the machines and proper procedure would be to lock out the machine so it doesn't run when people are in the 'pinch zones'. DH came over to instruct the person on something and a robotic arm came down and hit his neck and shoulder and knocked him to the ground.
It hit so hard it actually left a crease in his shoulder :shock:
He is going to be so bruised tomorrow.
He went to the chiro after work and the chiro said it would take a lot of work to put his shoulder back in place :(

He's actually installing some laminate flooring we got for the upstairs. The dogs had gone potty on the carpet up there (oh please mommy can we have a dog? I promise I'll walk him...can you say sucker?) and my son's doc said he needed his carpet out because he is highly allergic to dust and dust mites. So we got the laminate flooring for his room, dd's room and the hall and stairs. the only thing carpet in the house will be our bedroom. So he is getting stuff done and he will probabyly have dinner done when I get home, but that doesn't help pay the bills!

This was on the bottom of page 3 :shock: . I don't like to post right after myself for fear of looking like I am trying to keep a die-ing post a live . :lol: but I do have some thing important to say so I am posting any way. :oops:

On Friday I got a call at work that said.... Do you have your child with you? I was like um... who is this? She said...Is your daughter wearing purple? I said... Honestly I can't remember what color she is wearing today! She said well... if you don't have your child with you this must be her. Did no one call you from Ms. Jeannies? (the baby sitters) I started to panic! I said NO! She quickly told me that my daughter was fine but that one of the two babies Ms. Jeannie watches had not work up from her mornning nap to eat so Ms. jeannie when in the bed room to wake her up to get her to eat. The baby was gray and not breathing. Ms. Jeannie called the ambulance and started CPR. Her daughter called all the parents and asked them to come pick up there kids at My house. I live right beside Ms. Jeannine. Your child is the only one left and its been two hours. I quickly told her NO ONE had called me!!!! I rushed from work to go get her and the whole time I am praying for this little baby. I am also thinking in the back of my head that there is a 50% chance that this is my friends baby that she just adopted a few weeks ago. Once I go to the house to pick up Morgan the lady comfirmed my fears. The baby that got sick belonged to my friend Amy. The baby is 12 weeks old and had just been adopted 6 weeks before that! I brought Morgan back to work with me. That night I tried calling Ms. Jeannie and didn't get an answer, I had also called and left a message on Amy's answering machine. The next day I tried calling Ms. Jeannie again and got an answering machine and left a message. I knew that the baby had been flown to Little Rock to our childrens hospital so I called there to see if I could get any kind of update with out having to bother Amy or her husband. I talked to Amy's pastors wife. She told me that they had run test that morning and that the baby was brain dead and the only thing keeping it alive was life support. She said Amy and her husband were doing as well as could be expected and were out for a walk after they come back in they are going to take the baby off life support. I told her that I would be praying for the family and she said please do but above all pray for the day care lady (she didn't know I had a child that went there also) she is beside herself and feels so bad even though there was nothing she could have done. The Doctors are saying its was SID's. The next day Ms. Jeannie called me and I talked to her and she cried and I cried the babie had gone to be with Jesus at 12:30 on Sunday. Amy wanted her baby to be an organ donor so they had to do an audtopsey (? sp?). When they did this they discovered that the baby had a heart murmer (they had already suspected this) and did have the some thing in her heart to make it restart. I was told all the tecnical terms but didn't understand them. Some like the elelctric shock that goes to the hear to get the heart beating wasn't there in her heart therfore there was no way her heart would have ever stayed beating on it own. Any way to make a long story short we are all very sad and this is a heavy loss in so many ways. Please pray for the family but also remember Ms. Jeannie and all the kids that were at daycare that day some of the older kids are a little scared and they are asking a lot of questions about why the baby died and there really are not any good answers to give them. Also ... Morgan has had some attachment issues for a while and this has made it even worse. Being left at the neighbors house for a while scared her to death. All weekend long she has ate very little and has direaha. She went to Ms. Jeannies today with out a tear and seemed very happy to be there so I am not worried about that at all. Please send up some prayers for the every one involoved.

I was on vacation last week, so I spent most of the time with the kiddos, and it was GREAT!!! Dani is talking a storm!! she imitates tons of words, and she is doing awesome following commands. Chris is a ham and he smiles and giggles whenever he sees me... it just melts my heart.
I had couple of rough ones with DH, he dared calling me a bad mom... UGH!! I almost flipped, so he went out with the kids to have dinner and I stayed at the hotel... then I gave him the silent treatment the next day, and he apologized and explained what he meant... but I am still hurt about it
The only bad part of the week was dealing with DH's son... he annoys me beyond limit, so I was DONE being with him

It was hard leaving the kids on daycare today :(

I have TONS of things to do at work, and here I am.... 5 more minutes and I will go back to my responsabilities!

its monday BLAH..oh well i guess we will have to make the most of it..

my DH freeeeeeeeked out this weekend..i mean bad enough where i was gonna move out and leave him behind..

i was in the basement getting something..he was stareing at the x-box and apparently lucea was in the bathroom..well as i was coming up the stairs i hear lucea gagging..so i yell MATT WHATS WRONG WITH HER..and i hear him run to the bathroom..when i get up stairs he yells "SHE'S GOT YOUR F'ING NAIL POLSH REMOVER" and the bottle goes flying across the room..so trying to calm i pick up the remover check the bottle which is closed tight and make sure none is missing..all this time he is wandering around yelling CALL POISON CONTROL.HOW CAN YOU LEAVE CHEMICALS DOWN WHERE SHE CAN GET THEM! i mean over and over he is saying this..

so i calmly grabbed my stuff and left..i cant handle yelling..i hate it..so all in all we had a ****y marrige for the weekend..i dont even want to look at him right now..he acts as if i left an open bottle of antifreeze in her crib..i left a closed bottle of nail polish remover in the bathroom..

I am so right there with you. Usually I don't complain about DH buth things are going down hill. I think its because his work was slow last week and when there is no work, there is no pay. So grocery shopping we say, well, for soda we can buy the Publix brand. Its 50 cents a bottle as opposed to $1.50. So then he goes to get his Diet 7-up and I'm like, turn around is fair play, you can drink the cheap soda too. He goes, well, not really since I'm paying for the soda. :shock: Don't EVER treat my kids like they are second class citizens and you deserve name brand and they don't. I was pissed! and not to mention that I get $400 a month child support and I make more money than you do buddy so there!

Usually he's realy good. I think ours is the pressure of the money situation. Also it must be hard for him because my kids are my heart and soul. With my older ones he is like an outsider coming into our family. But now we have a blended family so that is even wierder!

Pam - I can't believe about the baby and how they kept you hanging on on the phone like that! The first words after "is morgan with you" should have been "don't worry - she's ok."How incredibly sad for those people who adopted that baby. I imagine their road to becoming parents has been hard as it is then for this to happen! Sheesh.

Husbands - well, they get all screwed up because they are no longer the center of the universe and can't handle it. We have our rough spots, but even when it was my fault that we had to call poison control, he always tried to make me feel better instead of worse. That is what you deserved Sarah - to have a DH that made you feel better about it. It totally sucks because marriage can be so hard, but with the kids there is this extra pressure that doesn't help.

I dream at least twice a week that DH leaves me and it scared the jeepers out of me. Occasionally, I am happy about being able to have sex with other men (haha) but usually I am crushed and mortified about the changes to my life and Stella's. Anyway, sometimes I am unhappy, but usually just in the unsatisfied way - not in the "my dh has lost all respect for me" way. More like I hear about one of my newlywed friends having all night conversations about the human nature, the world and religion and all that and get sad because the best conversation I have had all day with David is about Stella's poop or when he droned on and on and Boeing's new airplane and I pretended to be interested.

Anyway, i don;t know how that contributed, or even if it did. But we are still infested with fleas here and I have about 20 pounds of pee and puke encrusted laundry to do. My day looks SO rosey...

We have had many issue about him and Porn. He always says I'll stop, blah blah. Well on Friday night I jump on the computer really quick to look up a pedi office and decide to check my email, I didn't realize that he had gotten on the computer and signed into his. So when I opened it up, what was there? A ton of porn emails (that you subscribe to, not random ones). I thought I was going to puke.

I told him I was going to leave. I feel like he is cheating on me. I slept in the other room that night and we didn't speak the rest of the weekend. Last night we talked and I know I'm not really going to leave him, but I told him I can't handle this again and I will NOT continue to put up with it!

I know to most it doesn't seem like a Major issue, but for me it is! He should only look at me!!

Hi everyone! I had to add my own DH woes...this weekend (Saturday) DH had plans to hang out with his brothers. No biggie, that's fine but I will go to my dad's house and hang out because I hate being home alone. I am a total scaredy cat come night fall. "Don't stay gone too long," I say because I have to get Chris home into bed and does he really need to hang out for 5 hours? :roll: He goes over around 7:00, at 10:00 I call him and say, "Hey are you ready, because I need to get Chris to bed?" I have our only car so I was his ride. "Nah, I just barely got to start playing games because Joe bought a new TV and we went and picked it up....blah, blah, blah."

Now, I'm irritated because I know once I get Chris home he's going to pass out and I do not want to load up a sleeping baby back in the car to go pick up a most likely drunk DH. So I say, "You better get home soon and if you don't come home tonight, don't come home at all!" :shock: I can be a total B when I'm pissed. The reason I got so pissed is because DH has done this before, gone out to hang out with his brothers or friends and stayed out all night! We had huge fights about this behavior and I was thisclose to leaving. So for him to start the behavior again is not cool. Well, I went to sleep around 12:00, but I woke up in the middle of the night and looked up and the fan was off so I immediately thought he's gotta be here because he always turns off the fan. Sure enough I look over and he's sleeping in the chair in our room. So he did come home, but I don't know what time because apparently I slept thru it.

The only time I have been ready to leave DH was when Stella was about 4 months old. I had been going through 4 months of he!! and he was working from sun up to sun down for no reason... I'm sorry about all the crappy DH issues. Luckily, DH and I have been good since his uncle's death. That put us through the ringer, but we've been great since.

Alison, I've been there with the porn thing. I didn't have the first clue. Seriously. Amanda was less than 6 month old and I sat down at the computer to watch some video and guess what I got! I took one look at him and went to the bedroom. I was beyond ticked. After a very long talk, he had been checking out the junk for some time, but went to great strides to hide it. It was a reality check, I didn't know my husband as well as I thought. He says he hasn't looked at it since. I don't generally have a problem with a magazine or something every once in a while, but I guess I just knew this wasn't a one time deal....gut instinct I guess.

Amanda is a walking fool now! Each week for the past month she has taken a few more steps and become better and better at it, now, she's walking 95% of the time. My parents bought her a chair for our living room yesterday, she LOVES it! It was half the price of the potter barn ones and it's a leather looking vinyl....SO cute! I am not sure how to ask this without making anyone feel bad... but what's wrong with a little porn? I had never even thought to ask and about 2 months ago I asked DH if he ever looked at online porn (I know he doesn't get movies or magazines) and he said every so once in a while he'll get bored and go there. I didn't really care - I mean, he's not on there constantly and it doesn't really impact our lives at all... Is it that the DHs are going there all the time? Or expecting you to be porn stars? Just wondering... and please know, to me it is totally ok if you just hate porn, I am just wondering if there is anything else about it that I am missing...

I am so frustrated. I have been working my a$$ off to get our credit in order to buy a house. I just got our scores again and DHs credit report and his is a full 200 points less than mine - but worse than that - 100 points lower than it was 2 months ago!!! And we have been paying everything ontime. It is so frustrating. I looked at his report and there are so many errors - for instance, one company is reporting us as basically having not paid in 3 years when actually they sold our loan to another lender and we have been paying THEM for 3 years... I just want to buy a house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't find the porn offensive in my opinion. If he was using it rather than having sex with me it would bother me. He'll go grab a movie on some weekends when the teens are sleeping out at friends house and we watch it together. Doesn't bother me because he tells me he loves me and is very clear about being attracted to me.

I want to complain too, yesterday Dani had a fever, and it was on all night. I was worried sick with her, and told DH how much I hated her being sick, his answer "well, she is going to have to deal with it, just like we do when we get sick"...... I would not say I have a problem with porn. In our situation, it was the sneakiness (sp?) and the fact that since shortly after Amanda was born, he is interested in sex once a week, if that. Ok maybe I should start my love affair with Harry & Ron... maybe they will make me happy!! :roll: (I stopped the Harry Potter books on the fourth one... no more time!)

I had it with DH yesterday, I am tired of him being a selfish jerk, so I decided I am going to stop enabling him from being so selfish, and think and do more things for ME (and the kids, of course) and see how he likes it. I am so upset I don't even want to talk to him.... I may write him a letter so I can edit it

Anyways, in happier notes, the lady who takes care of my kids has a speech therapist for her daughter (she is 2 and not talking), so she is applying all she does for her DD with Dani, using flash cards and other things.... I am so happy she is so concerned about my kids, and doing such a wonderful job helping them learn!! she is not just a baby sitter, she actually teaches them stuff... I am so blessed I found her!!!

In other notes, I have been considering going back to church, I am not a very religious person, but I honestly want my kids to learn about my religion and to have the community I had when I grew up (still do back in Mexico), so I am going to do some research and find a Church I like, and take the kids with me on Sundays. I don't care if DH doesn't join us, I am doing this for me and the kids

Claudia, I think its great that you thinking about getting into a church! I mean I know that there are a lot of good people who don't go. I didn't go for a long time but it is a great place to find support and make new friends! It will be a great way for Chris and Dani to form great friendships that will last a life time! Also you may find a support group to help you deal with all that is going on right now in your life. I so wish you DH would wake up and smell the coffee! If I were there I would so treat you to dinner! :lol: And I know just where you are coming from with your day care! I love Ms. Jeannie and she works with Morgan on things I dont' have time for like getting her to drink out of a cup with no lid with out spilling it every where a long with the speach issues we are having! Ah Sarah, Chris does this sometimes too. It can be a little grating on the nerves though. Do y'all still sign? What all signs does she know? Sarah, she may be frustrated because she cannot communicate what she wants/needs... Dani is the same way, what I do is HUG her first, and in a very calmed voice I talk to her and try to understand what she wants. It has been pretty successful, and the temper tantrums are decreasing

Candice, don't worry about the language... Chris will talk when he is ready. Dani is 21 months and until now I can say she has a vocabulary, even though it is only clear for her and me (because DH doesn't speak Spanish or cares to understand her :roll: ). As long as Chris understands what you are saying, he is on the right track. Keep talking to him and encourage him to use words, even use the ones that he uses... Dani calls music KIKA... I ask her at nights "do you want kika - music?" so she knows the correct word and we are communicating!
She did the same with powder, it was IKA.... and I kept saying TALCO (in Spanish)... now it is ALCO, which is closer than IKA
They will surprise you one of these days

So today at daycare I got a compliment because Dani eats with her mouth closed.... apparently it is not a common thing around this place, and it is a pet peeve for the daycare lady (me too, I HATE IT!!), and she is grateful that Dani eats like a human (you should see DH's son eating.... PATHETIC, he chews with his mouth open and makes a bigger mess than Dani... and he is 9!!! :shock: )

Ok. I'm here too. I've been really busy at work so I have been trying to be a good girl and not be tempted to come on here, but I do admit that I sneak on and read every now and then when I need a break.

We're having a garage sale this weekend at my Mom and Dads. We've got alot of the baby's things in it. We won't be having any more babies so we don't need things like her bassinet, swing, exersaucer, bouncer and baby clothes. I'm hoping to make some moen on the stuff since DH's work was VERY slow this week. I've been a nervous wreck.

I had to take the day off yesterday. 1) Day care was closed 2) went to the funeral of the baby that died last week 3) We sold our chickens last night so we can start over with some younger ones. 4) my freezer went out and I lost about 200 dollars worth of food that the church had donated to me.

Yes it was very small and silver. They had lots of pink roses all over the place. :(

My weekend was OK. Morgan had to have 1 shot when she went to the DR. on Friday so I was blessed with lots of poo poo dippers to change over the weekend. :roll: Also while I was their the DR. took some of my blood and is sending it off to check some stuff. He just wants to make sure that there is nothing worng with me before just saying Ahh... your just over eating because you are depressed. He gave me a script for a anit depresant and at Wal-Mart it only cost 4 dollars!! I can afford that! Wahoo! Only bad news is... they have a new policey not to let you have your script for at least 30 minutes that way you will shop and buy more stuff! Ugh!!! I ended up spending 30 dollars! :lol:

Morgans check up when GREAT!! She has pretty much cought up to other kids her age. She is now a wopping 23 pounds! I at one year she was 19 pounds so thats pretty good that she has grown so much in 6 months.

Claudia, I am so sorry to hear about your DH still being a butt head! Because I am your firend I will hold back what I think because its some thing only you can really decide any way. I just wish I could be there to make you smile and take you away from the stress of it all from time to time.

About Dh, yeah he knew I was upset and told me "you can yell at me later" (he was going out to get formula for Chris), when he came home I was upstairs napping with Chris & Dani, we woke up and I stayed upstairs finishing laundry, then I came down and he asked if I had something to say, I said NO, and went on.... I am to the point where there is no point on telling him, because certain things are just not going to change

I know the best thing I could do for my sanity is to get a divorce, but I would have to stay here in Orlando, ALONE!!! and I don't want him to have my kids on the weekend, and treat them the way he treats his son... eat crap and let them sit on the TV all day so he doesn't have to deal with him!!
Yesterday he said Kyle (his son) is making up all this stories so he doesn't eat certain things (as he is very picky), he actually thought it was FUNNY that his 9 year old was LYING!!!!!! :roll: (but that is not what ticked me, it was something he did when both kids were screaming)

Anyways, and now he wants me to play hookie one day and spend it with him <= NOT HAPPENING!!! I have NO interest in spending more than the weekends with him, let alone spend 8 hrs ALONE with him!

Yesterday I gave Dani some goldfish on a bowl and a juice in her sippy. Once she was done, she put both things on the kitchen counter without me telling her anything!!!! it was so amazing, and she just came back to me like nothing happened!!! I love my little girl to pieces, and when she does this things, I know I am doing a good job raising her!!!

finished my affair with Potter last night :( i'm sad i read it so fast it ended way to quick for me..Me and DH went to the 5th movie to yesterday..great movie..now i am anxious for 6 & 7 to come out as well.. i couldnt believe how old all the actors were especially Harry and Ron holy crap.

so how was everyones weekend? i completely redid lucea nursery so i will post pics soon to show you what i did..it is doen in the old fashioned type shabby chic style.. :D

On the bright side, last night he got pizza and I called back and ordered hot wings... oh man. I could have eaten the whole order all by myself. When I was pg with Stella I wanted hot wings all the time too. I think I will dream of my next hot wing encounter until it happens.

The night was OK, we took Chris to the pedi, so he was not in the best mood after the shots, so I escaped sex.....
DH and I talked again on making "us" time and getting Chris into a better sleeping pattern (I think he is cranky because he doesn't sleep enough), whatever works for him, I am done trying!!

So I want to start eating healthier, DH said he would support me whatever I decide, even if that means more veggies... I need to work on a plan to get better meals, I am tired of eating crap and unhealthy food.... I want to make some changes in our habits and lifestyle, but DH thinks being environmentaly friendly is "stupid" :roll:

my problem with eating heathy is A) time and B) money. I mean a candy bar is so much cheaper than an Apple and all the time it takes to make a well balanced meal! Don't get me wrong I know its all worth it and I am doing my best to do better at it but its hard to change once you have gotten so used to doing things the easy way out. I need to stop with the gripping and just do it and eath healthy but its not that easy!

As far as food well... If I have the time and Mogan wants to go all out on her food then I let her but that is rare I just don't have the extra tiem to clean her and the mess up. Any way Morgan is getting to the age she needs to learn to eat like a big kid so I don't really let her do that much any more.

That brings up another question....
Claudia you said Dani takes her plate to the sink. Does she stand there or does she try to drop it in the sink. I want to teach Morgan this habit to but she is so short she can't get it up into the sink also she usualy still has food on her plate. I was just wondering what you dinner clean up routine is. :wink:

Ladies, frozen veggies are very very cheap, and are actually only one small degree less healthy than fresh - they are picked and frozen at the peak of freshness and ripeness... Just a thought for y'all trying to add more healthy foods to your menu! The frozen veggies this extra-picky girl have found to be the least offensive are:

Peas
Corn
broccoli
Cauliflower
sometimes green beans

I hate frozen carrots though - BUT carrots are SOOO cheap anyway. Anyway, my $.02 from Hot Wing girl. :D

I agree Pam, eating crap is easier and cheaper, but I am fed up with myself, the way I look and to see that I am taking my life to the toilet. My grandfather always ate healthy, he died at 98 years!!

I honestly didn't taught Dani about taking the plate to the sink, she just did it on her own.... I have to ask daycare if she is teaching them that. Anyways, she is tall enough to reach the counter, so she just left it there, not in the sink, which is fine with me!! Dani is at that point where she copies EVERYTHING she sees, specially from me.

And I agree that we need to teach them to eat like big kids.... you should see DH's son eating :shock: it is just nasty!!! and he is messier than Danielle :roll:

Morgan and I go to the movies all the time. We have a movie place about 35 minutes from home and it only has one movie that shows every night for a week at 7 and its free for Morgan and 3 dollars for me so it cheap weekend fun. She has seen Cars, Meet the Robensons, Harry Potter and tonight we are seeing the Simpsons. She loves it. We sit towards the back and for 3 dollars even if I had to leave early it wouldn't be a big waste and I haven't yet (knock on wood) had to leave early.

Anyone know if I can have a VBAC? I have had 2 c-sections and am thinking about switching drs and wonder if it is safe to have a normal birth this time. They are showing a home birth in the tub on tv and it makes me regrett not taken action with Katie and having the natural birth.

Tracy - I'm not sure about the VBAC but if it is something you really want then you should push for that. I know with me as soon as I mentioned 2 c-sections the doc was like, yeah this one will be too.

If that is a big IF...we plan on ever having another i will do a VBAC..i had a vag with cy and a c-sec with lulu.. but we'll have to wait till then i guess..i have a pretty coool doc so i dont think there will be a problem..as long as the baby is the right way and all is well..

i have two count them two papers to write and no motivation whatsoever.

My wedding anniversary is in one month. DH made reservations for dinner, but we need to find a baby sitter.... hope we don't find one, so we can bring the kids, and I don't have to spend the whole evening tending to DH :?
