Well, I thought I would start a Clomid blog (dairy). I'll post here on what's going on in my Clomid cycle and I hope other clomidies will post about their Clomid cycles too.

Ok.. As we know.. My last cycle was a good one since I had a progesterone of 27.6 (I think I release two eggs and boy did it feel like it!) which means the dose I'm on is doing good and making me "O" but for some reason the last cycle failed to get me pregnant.. I know I released eggs and I know my husbands spermies are in excellent shape.. so I figuring something most likely went wrong with implantation. Well, what ever it was I'm on another month of Clomid as well as a new plan. I'm on CD 6 and am taking Clomid CD's 5-9, day 10 I'll start Mucinex and day 12 I'll start OPK's. Start Bding on CD 15 every other day and day of LH surge and day after, unless for some reason I get a +OPK before then (Last month "O" was cd 20) Oh yea, I'm taking a Baby Aspirin, Prenatal and Expecta daily. On BD days we will sure pre~seed, so that's our plans for this month.

As far as Clomid for some reason I don't feel good the last couple of days real tired :zz: . I'm also :oops: constipated :oops: . Fun Fun :roll:

I know I released eggs and I know my husbands spermies are in excellent shape.. so I figuring something most likely went wrong with implantation.

Remember, even if everything is perfect, the chance of conceiving is only 20% per cycle. Don't feel like something went wrong, that is just nature's way! Best of luck this cycle!!!

Today was a little bit better.. I don't really think me feeling bad has anything to do with the clomid. But hope I get rid of some of the sinus problems and :oops: constapation :roll:

Nothing really new.. Just wish this month would hurry up and give me a bfp... :lol:

I have 2 days of clomid left. I'm on cd 7 (well it's after midnight so CD 8)

I had been Oing on my own the last 6 months.. but I have PCOS and was having irratic AF's .. anywhere from 30 days to 60 days.. I have a history of producing immature eggs which was the reason I miscarried in 2001. For some reason I thought I was on 100mg back in 01/02/03 but was only on 50mg for 12 cycles.. My RE started me out this time on 100mg, which worked because I had a strong "O" this time and it was a 34 day cycle which is what I normally do on clomid.

I hope you get that boost you needed and you get a BFP! Please keep posting because it's nice to know what others are going through so you don't feel so a lone.

I took my last Clomid today (CD9). I've been having some night sweats and yesterday my (.)(.) felt a bit tingly, but otherwise, I feel good. No moodiness, lucky for DH. Time to start BDing!!!! Hooray!!! Bring on the EGG!

I'm on CD 11.. Weird.. I have had some EWCM today.. - OPK.. I got sick again this month and am wondering if the Clomid had anything to do with it. Last month during my cycle of clomid cd5-9 I got a stomach virus.. Well.. this time.. It started with what I thought was constipation and ended with me throwing up all night Friday night and diarrhea as well.. So now I'm wondering.. Anyways.. I'm feeling better today. My temps were up this morning.. and seem higher this month then last. Starting to feel like maybe we should go ahead and start BD.. Was going to wait until CD 15.. (last month on clomid I "O" on CD 20).. Not sure if I should wait or not.. Other then being sick and tired.. that's all that's going on with me this month.

You would think huh? But no.. The first time was for 6 months clomid.. then a 6 month break and then 6 more months of clomid... From my understanding they have only started just doing the 3-6 cycles in the last couple of years. Studies have found that long uninterrupted use of clomid depletes the lining of the uterus.. My doctor felt it had been a few years since I was on it and she wanted to try it one more time.. She put me on it for two cycles.. I may ask to do a third just in case before moving on to something else. I'm working on improving my lining and blood flow to my uterus plus my over all health.

I hope we all get our BFP's this month!!!!

We started our every other day schedule on CD 9 and I started OPKs this AM (Kimmie had told me to start CD 12- earlier than that can cause a false + from the Clomid) and I am going to test twice a day since it's my first month on Clomid, and I don't know when I'll "O". I'm hoping it's earlier. . .

I updated my chart.. I have a paper chart I write every on daily.. I just forgot to update my online chart.

Last month we started BDing on cycle day 12 but I didn't "O" until CD20 and it seemed like when I was on it before I didn't "O" early either.. my cycles were 34 then as well. My husband hurt his back so I am having to carefully plan out our BD this month :roll: Was thinking about starting on CD 15.

OPK.. last month I did it twice aday.. but it didn't matter.. because when I got the surge I had it for three days and even though I was doing it afternoon and evening.. I detected it first in the afternoon. I may do between 12-1pm and then around 8pm.. what hours are you going to do them?

What OPK's are you using.. Mine says not to do it with fmu. To test any time in the afternoon. I've heard from others anytime after 10 am.

Oh no! I forgot about your DH and his poor back. Yes, you'll have to go easy on him so he can "stay in the game".

I use the IC OPK's from babyhopes.com, they work fine for me. I usually test at night somewhere between 6-9 pm, then when I see my line get darker I test the next AM. I have gotten a few + with FMU that way. So, I think it's really individual. This month, I am just paranoid that I am going to miss something so I am going to test w/ FMU and at night.

It seemed weird to me that people "o" later on Clomid, they call it "ovulation induction" so it seems like it should happen earlier, right? But then I was thinking that Clomid is supposed to give you better, more mature eggs, so maybe it takes a few extra days to "beef up" the eggs, KWIM??

Anyway. I hate waiting!!!!!! C'mon "o" :lol: :lol:

I waited two cycles as per doctor and started 50 mg of clomid on day 3 of my normally 28 day cycle. I have been charting and taking OPKs, but nothing as of yet. Today is CD13 and I'm extremely anxious for something to happen. Clomid definitely upset my stomach...first nausea and diarreah and now constipation it seems. Hubby and I have been BDing the last three nights. Should we hold off until I see a change or switch to every other day? Don't want to use up all of the good spermies, but don't want to miss it either. What should we do?

Ok now this is getting weird- Paula & I are on CD 13 today too. . .we are ALL CYCLE BUDDIES! AND all on Clomid. Wow!!

Anyway- my Dr. rec's every other day, just to give spermies a chance to build up. But if your DH sperm count is OK, its not WRONG to BD every day. If you can swing it, i say go for it. Some of us wear out too quickly :wink: :lol:
Seriously though, if you get a - OPK today, take the day off if you want. It's just important to BD the day of the +OPK, and the next day. then make sure you see a thermal shift (if you're temping) before you stop BD.

I have heard the Clomid makes you ovulate later, so just hang in there! Are you also temping? You should post a link to your chart so we can "keep an eye" on you.

Wow, what are the odds we're all cycle buddies. That makes me feel not so alone though. I tried to attach my chart link with this message, so hopefully it works. I think you just have to click on the www button at the bottom of my message, we'll see. My temps are crazy, as you'll see. Ignore the one really high one on CD8, I didn't temp until I woke up at noon, after a night of drinking, so it is definitely not valid. I normally temp at 7-8am. I'm doing my OPKs at around 4pm. I'll let you know what happens with today's test.

Yes, you are all over the place, but you've got alot of open circles (?timing issues?) and you are charting sleep deprived alot. So they may not be totally accurate.
Well, keep up the OPKs and you've got your bases covered w/ BDing, so you're doing good, OK? No worries!

I've had the stomach problems the last two months. But I don't think it's common.. I didn't have it years ago when I was on Clomid.

since you are on CD 13 I would just switch to every other day.

Your temps are all over the place.. I don't sleep a lot at a time either.. I go to bed between 2-3 am. and get up at 6:45am to take my temps then take my husband to work. I set my cell phone alarm for when to take my temps.. I keep my BBT next to my bed and just reach over and take it and lay there until I have to get up or if it's his day off I go back to sleep and then check it later and write it down. BBT's normally keep your last temp. It's better to take it early and at the same time. This will help you keep from getting erratic temps.

I wouldn't worry about it to much this month.. I think you are going to be covered.

That would be fabulous if we all got BFPs this month. Yeah, my sleep has been erratic. I go to bed around midnight each night, but I keep tossing and turning and waking up every hour to every other hour. I guess I'm just a little stressed out. Go figure. I just did my O test and the test stip is a lot darker today, but still not quite as dark as the control strip. The package said it had to be as dark as or darker. So perhaps we'll have an egg in the next few days!!!! Might as well, BD just in case. My poor dh is gonna be dead from dancing by the end of this!! Good way to go though :lol:

By the way, I heard that keeping a fresh cucumber and fresh basil on your nightstand increases fertility. I know it sounds weird, but I'll try anything!!!

She said she felt fine about me taking Diflucan since I am not yet pregnant, but there are case studies that show some complications. Now I don't know what to do. Do I take it and hope for the best or get stuck with having a yeast infection for the next month or so, which would not be fun, but at least I wouldn't have to worry that taking it made me not get pg or caused any problems if I do get pg. AHHHH!! What should I do? DH says don't take it because I'll be blaming it on the Diflucan if we don't get pg this month and if I do ge the dreaded BFN, I can just take the pill then and try again next month with no worries. Any advice would be great!!

The Diflucan shouldn't prevent you from becoming pg. I would think you need to get rid of the infection. One dose of 150mg Diflucan is very unlikely to cause any problems with a pregnancy. I would follow the Dr's advice on this one.

It says below that higher doses put you at greater risk. I would think if you go ahead and take it now.. by the time the embie implants it should be out of your system.. I would think the only risk factor would be if it passed through the placenta. I was trying to find out how long it stays in your body.. IF I find out I'll post it. If you don't feel comfortable taking it then ask what you could take in it's place that would be a safer choice. I'm sure that have something they can give you that they give pregnant women all the time.

Anyone being Clomoodie? I've been on the moody side this evening. Wanted to start BD tonight.. But DH did something at work he wasn't supose to do and was in bad pain tonight.. So I was sort of p*ssed off about that.. So that could be some of the reason for the moodiness :lol: I can't really say anything to him about it because he already feels bad enough because he's been having back problems this month. I did tell him.. That like I said from the beginning when they put me on the clomid I didn't want to go through the bad ""O" pains unless I knew we had a chance and then he said he wanted me to go ahead and start the Clomid and now look! Last cycle I didn't sleep for three days because of the "O" pain and bloating.. I was so uncomfortable and the first night of "O" I couldn't even stand up straight. I did release more then one egg and they were big.. had high levels of progesterone.. I know I didn't hurt that bad when I was on it before.. I'm thinking it's because I'm on a higher dose of clomid. I don't know.. Just feel blah right now.. My mood sucks!

TAKE THE DIFLUCAN!! There is way less risk of that then of an untreated yeast infection. Remember, you don't share a blood supply with the embryo at first. Diflucan will probably be long gone before you even implant.

Oh, honey that is so frustrating!! Poor DH!! I really think IUI is a good option for you guys. I can't imagine what you are going through trying to make this work. I hope your Dr. is willing to do that for you next cycle (unless you get a BFP of course).

Well hopefully we get some BD in this month and get a BFP..DH is trying to convince me it's going to be ok and that we will be able to BD starting tomorrow. But we will see.. I kind of had a melt down last night. I'm also dealing with the fact that my DS is almost grown, So I've been having empty nest syndrome. My husband thinks I'm going through a mid life crisis, I told him I'm not that freakin old yet and that he needs to remember he is a year older then me and he will go through it before I. :lol:

Over all today.. Just moody.. Had a temp drop.. but I don't think it's the one.. Take a look at my chart and let me know what you think.. I think I still have a little bit of time... my temps are higher this month then last month on clomid.. weird.

Where did your pharmacist go to school? Just wondering. I'm still with the Dr., get rid of the infection.

I am so sorry you are being jerked around w/ the Diflucan. I work in medicine (i'm a nurse practitioner) although I work in cardiology, so I'm no expert at babymaking medicine. . .but seriously, pharmacists can be a little over the top sometimes. However, I would NEVER give medical advice in this circumstance, but I will tell you to call your dr. and let him know what the pharmacist said. I guess you could use vaginal suppositiories to treat the infection, but you need to talk this over with the doc, and if he wants you to take the Diflucan, that will override the pharmicist.

Just to vent. . .if it's in your system for 1 week, and assuming you ovulate TODAY, that's BARELY enough time for implantation much less development of a placenta and shared circulation. I think it's crap!!!!! Crap!

I did call my doctor and she said since I had concerns about taking it and due to some possible complications found in case studies that I hold off and if I get my period I can just take it then. I'm just tired of going back and forth in my mind about it. I am the queen of yeast infections, so I'm sure I can deal with it for a few weeks. Once I'm pregnant I'll probably have one throughout the entire nine months anyways. I just can't seem to avoid them. I'll just sleep better knowing that I didn't do anything at all to flub this month up. I just checked out your chart and no change yet huh? Are you getting antsy or what? I just did my OPK and it's ++++++++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time for some BD!!!

I'm doing good.. Still waiting for "O" started with BD yesterday.. Hopefully DH back with allow us to go every other day until next Wed. that should cover my fertile window and then I'll be in 2ww. I'm starting to have some twinges in my ovaries from time to time.. So I think it's getting ready.. I've had Neg. OPK's.. so I know I'm not "oing" yet. Nothing else really going on. How's your month going so far? When do expect to "O"? Last month I "O" CD 20 with clomid.

Ummm....maybe this weekend? Seems like the OPK line was a bit darker this AM. Maybe I'll have a positive tonight or tomorrow AM. I was hoping it would be early this month, but oh well. It's easier to BD on the weekends anyway right!

Well..Today is CD 16.. Which I know most of you know that since some of us are cycle buddies :lol: Today.. Was Clomid-melt down day.. Cried for a good hour this evening. Went off on a rude lady.. (felt bad afterwards because that's just not me) Having some twinges and very lite cramps from time to time in my ovaries.. So I would say it's getting ready.. Been very tired and did I mention moody? :lol: Poor ol' DH didn't know what to say :lol: I haven't had a dip in temps yet.. but I really don't think I'll "O" until the first of the week.. Either Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Good news is so far this week we have been able to BD every other day.. We started on Wednesday night. So lets hope that we can make it until Wednesday of this coming week!

Praying for a BFP this month!!!

Hang in there with the mood swings. I have been so emotional this past week, I thought DH was going to leave me and take refuge in a hotel somewhere!! He is not the patient or sensitive type, let's just say that. He's getting a little better though. He even brought me flowers yesterday to apologize for not being more understanding of my moods. I have not been having a good week, since I just found out that my husband's ex-wife, who I despise is pregnant. She's not even re-married yet and obviously wasn't trying, so of course she can get pg, but not me! :evil:
It's hard enough to help raise my stepson, since I am more of a mother to him than she is and now all I get to hear about is how excited he is to be a big brother. Well, just needed to have a poor me moment. I'm glad to hear you've been able to BD, just keep it up (no pun intended) and hopefully you'll be in business come monday. Here's to BFPs for us all. Keep thinking positive thoughts and embrace those moods, for once, we have an excuse!!!

Yes BFP for us all!!! I completely understand on the ex-wife thing. I've been through that too.. and it's ok.. to have a poor me moment.. when you been through as much as we all have.

Glad we didn't have to BD tonight.. DH was having a bad night. I told him he better rest up for tomorrow. Ialso told him.. The day I get the LH surge he's coming home from work for an hour. :lol: :lol: :lol:

All day I was having twinges and feeling pressure in my back & uterus, kind of like when AF is coming. . .weird. Anyway I am completely frustrated w/ my temps, they are not really rising like I'd like them too- or like they have in the past. So I'm not sure what's up. I was hoping I'd have a great temp rise, since Clomid is supposed to make you 'o" better and have more progesterone. We took yesterday off from BD, but my temp actually dropped a hair today so we will do it tonight too I guess.

DH and I were so tired Saturday night, we had been out all day at 2 different parties- great time but we just wanted to sleep when we got home, KWIM!! But we had to BD for the cause. Anyway it's so much pressure on him sometimes. . .I really think if this month doesn't give us a BFP we need a little break. He is due for a s/a at the end of the month anyway. We will prob. take June off ttc. . .no clomid, no temping, nada. I didn't think I'd get to the point where I could let it go emotionally, but I am there. I want so much to NOT think about it for awhile!!

So sorry to hear how frustrated you are. I totally understand needing a month off without obsessing. This process is all consuming and a break may be just what you need. Looking at your chart it seems you did the BD on all the right days based on your OPK. Here's hoping you get a BFP and won't need to worry about anything anymore. Having you ladies here this month has been so helpful. It's much easier to deal with this with others who are going through the same thing. I'm anxiously awaiting next week so I can begin testing. I am so afraid of the BFN, I know I will be devastated, yet again. Trying to stay positive though.

Well it looks like we are all just about in the 2ww together. I understand the fustrations of having to BD in times that it is not very much desired. Hang in there.. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is the month for you.. BRing on the BFP's for us all!!!

As for me.. I think today is the day.. got a + OPK.. Call husband and well.. the only person who can sit in for him while he comes home is in a meeting.. So.. We have to wait until he gets off.. We did BD last night.. But it wasn't much because of his back.. (TMI) he said it was a medium. :roll: Anyways.. Hopefully we are able to BD today and tomorrow.. I so hope we catch that Egg this month. I've had a few twinges here and there.. but no where near the soreness and cramping as last month.

I am so happy that we all got the big O. This wait does suck. I figure, based on my period that I can do one of the five days sooner tests this coming Sunday. But I'm ready to go to the store now and start testing anyways. Patience is not one of my strong points. I've been having some cramping yesterday and today on my lower right side. Trying not to get my hopes up though. But let's face it, that's impossible.

Welcome Sara! Wow, I thought two years of trying was bad. Thanks for putting things into perspective. I too had a miscarriage this February. This was my first month on Clomid, so I'm not really an expert. I will say that as far as side effects it's a lot better than I imagined. I was definitely more emotional and moody, had some abdominal pains and cramping, as well as some stomach issues and bloating. But nothing was too extreme to deal with. I'm not sure about the Robitussin, because I'm allergic to it, so obviously I never tried. Hopefully this will do the trick for you and get those eggs in motion. Welcome to our gang!

I'm on Clomid, day 3. I was on Clomid for 3 cycles last yr (Oct-Dec). It made me "O" but no PG...to my knowledge anyway.

This time I'm on Clomid and probably sometime next week, we'll have an IUI for the first time.

As far as side effects, I didn't have any last year, and with this round so far I've only had Hot Flashes...but they weren't too bad to deal with.

It's my first cycle of Clomid also, and I had very few side effects. I've never tried robutussin. . .if you don't have alot of CM you should use Preseed (lubricant). . .I think there's alot more success stories w/ that than w/ Robutussin.

Welcome to APA. You will love it here.. I have PCOS as well. I'm on my 2nd round of clomid this trip around.. I was on it years ago the first time I went to see an RE. Good thing is I do now "O" on clomid which is something I rarely did off of clomid and when I would "O" off of clomid because of the PCOS I would release immature eggs.

As far as Robitussin.. I take mucinex with expectarnt only and I start it the day after my last clomid pill and take it until I "O". Clomid can keep you from producing a lot of CM. So you may want to take it tp be on the safe side. Don't take any herbal supplements.. other then Omega 3's, because it can react with the clomid and cause it not to do it's job.

Below is what my RE has me on as of today:

Prenatal
Prenatal Omega
Baby Aspirin
Colace

And of course Clomid CD 5-9

I hope your stay is short and you get a fast BFP!

I haven't had really a problem with gaining weight from it. I lost 45 lbs this past year from dieting. But Since ttc I haven't really gained or lost.. Now.. since I've been taking the clomid.. I've been experiencing :oops: constipation :oops: I've been having a lot of problems this week with that.. So when I went to the RE today.. I had gained 1 lb.. but she said it was probably due to me being constipated :oops: , so she didn't fuss at me.. She told me to add Colace to my daily routine. I did ask her what calorie intake I should be at and she told me during the 2ww that I should take in between 1500 and 2000. She said during the first two weeks of my cycle (Before "O") I can diet.. She knows I eat less then a 1000 when dieting.. So I don't know.. I guess everyone is different though, so it could be the clomid.

Here's my RE Update today(it's also has it's on thread):

Well, today was my trip to the RE. She went over her recommendation of what she see's happening in the next few months. I am in the TWW now.. if I'm not pregnant this time around (test June 6) She wants to do one more month of clomid. If unsuccessful.. Then we will do a lap in July to see if I have any scar tissue in my tubes from the C- Section I had 16 and half years ago.. if I do.. They will trim that back some.. If that's the case then they may want to try one or two more cycles of clomid.. If not.. then she told me she would like to go ahead and move on to IVF in Aug. because of my age (36) :( Which I'm not to happy about either.. I asked her about IUI and she said she didn't feel that would be a very good option for me because DH S/A was really good, so she didn't think it would improve my chances. They don't do the test to see if you have hostel CM.. She said a lot of RE's don't use that test because your CM can change from month to month and the studies have came back inconclusive. I did ask about the MC Panel and she said she would rather wait until last option on it because it's rather expensive and the only treatment is Baby Aspirin (which I'm already on ) and Heparin. She did add a few things to my list of daily supplements today.. She told me to keep taking the Baby Aspirin and prenatal, She told me to get Prenatal Omega 3 which I found at my local Rainbow Co-op Health food store. My blood is rather thick and she said taking it and the baby aspirin would not hurt me because of it. She also told me to take Colace daily, I've been having problems with :oops: Constipation :oops:
So I'm on...
Baby Aspirin 81mg a day
Prenatal
Prenatal Omega (I'll post the name and all info on the fish oil thread)
Colace ( start off on 1 a day and can increase up to 3 a day if needed)
and Comid cd 5-9

She told me I can diet in the first two weeks of cycle.. But she wants me to eat between 1500 and 2000 calories in my 2ww.

They took blood and are running these test on me and I'll know the results next week.

I asked about the FSH test to see what my reserve looks like and she said because I'm "Oing" on the Clomid my reserve is fine (even though she made a big to do da about my age being a factor and that after 35 I'm going down hill :roll: nice of her to share that huh?)

She didn't fuss about my weight.. I did gain 1 lb.. but she said that was probably because of the constipation. She really hasn't fussed about my weight because I lost the 45 lbs before TTC this time around.

:shock: I'm really scare about most likely having to go the IVF round.. after reading all of the stories of what you IVF ladies have went through.. I'm scared to death. :shock:

Well, sorry this was so long.. But it was a long visit with the RE.. My husband said he felt like we were never gonna stop talking.. (he said she was probably thinking.. with everything I was asking why didn't I treat myself.. I told him I would rather have control over my treatment, then not to have any control or not even know what's going on) He said he wants to do the iVF in Aug if I'm not pregnant by then.. He thought it would be cool to torture me with the PIO shots :shock: :roll:

Well.. I think that's all..lol.. I so hope I get a BFP this month.

Thanks.. I may take you up on that offer.. Because the idea IVF is rather freakin me out.. I really didn't think I was at that point yet. thought I would have other options before moving to lap test and then IVF.

Thanks.. I hope so.. I had my progesterone taking last month.. It was 27.6.. that's the reason we thought I released more then one egg because it was so high.. Thanks! Yea I'm sure she will order them after your second cycle if you don't suceed before then. I had my HSG the first month and an MLP.. With me having PCOS she wanted to check and make sure these hormones were not out of wack and causing problems for me.. and if nothing happens by July.. They are going to do the lap to see what's going on in there.

I really hope we can graduate this month!! Maybe Jillmo is our lucky charm!

Thanks Jill, Well you have to remember with the help of clomid you made a much stronger egg.. So stay possitive.. Do you have a BBT chart?? I wanna see what your temps looked like this month!!! You just don't know how happy I am for you, it gives me great hope that one of my clomid friends got a BFP!!! I would go ahead and call your doctor first thing Tuesday and get in for blood test so they can monitor your progress.

Everything I've read says you should have 15 or greater for medicated. So I would say your progesterone is fine.. Do you have a LPD? Is that why you are on Clomid? I can't remember if you have mentioned it before. When I was on 50 mg years ago.. I O just fine.. and the highest I ever had was 19.. most of the time it was around 15. So don't worry.. You still had good numbers. and Yes maybe Jill is our good luck charm!!! Hope we all get to graduate together and can share all nine months together.. That would be so cool!!

I'm 6 dpo... I'm having catches in abdomen and feeling bloated.. When I have to pee badly I feel like my bladder is pushing against something sore.. Friday I was riding in the car and the air made my nip hurt.. but shortly after getting out of the car it stopped.. I haven't had tender bb's like I normally do... I've had sinus problems.. and yesterday I had a REALLY bad headache. I've been tired and some what moody at times. That's really it.. My temps are pretty steady..

Hoping and praying for BFP's for us all!!! Lets graduate together!!!!

I'm suppose to test June 5th I'll be a day late then.. But something weird happen today and don't know what to think.. This is going to have TMI.. Well.. Sad to say.. but I know everyone knows I've been some what constipated lately well I have IBS and had some blood mixed in with my stool. I know this is gross to talk about... I'm sorry.. but don't know what to do... anyways I went to pee and wiped and had pink on the toilet paper.. a very small amount... well.. I took another clean piece of toilet and stuck it about a half an inch inside me and there was a tiny tiny amount on there and some creaminess.... it only happen that one time though.. at first I thought maybe it was from my rear... but after that I think it came from there.. what do you guys thinks going on? Could this be implantation? Or do you think it's possible it came from my rear? I'm 7 dpo... I was having the light cramping and catches yesterday and I've been bloated. I dont think blood from your rear could get up IN your vagina...so it doesnt sound like that, since you put tp inside to check?

I wish I could be more help. I am analyzing every spot, cringe, twinge, flutter..so I know what its like to be confused by your body. Is this something you can talk to your Dr. about? Blood in your stool is not good, but since you have IBS, is this something you have dealt with before?

I wish I could be more help. I am analyzing every spot, cringe, twinge, flutter..so I know what its like to be confused by your body. Is this something you can talk to your Dr. about? Blood in your stool is not good, but since you have IBS, is this something you have dealt with before?

Well I hope that's it.. It was a real creamy looking pink and was a very small amount, so far I haven't seen it again. Still having the catches.. Yea.. I've dealt with IBS for about 15 years now and yes from time to time I have blood in my stool.. or nothing but blood comes out.. I've been put in the hospital before for bleeding to much.. My RE doctor put me on Colace, so hopefully that will help.. She said if I become pg this time that I can take the colace the entire pg without any problems.

Now that I know you have the same stomach issues- lemme list a few of the things that make me have to poop: red meat (usually a spicy steak), popcorn (from the movie theater works best), a large glass of apple juice or cider (not watered down) ,watermelon (eat it until your tummy wants to bust), a large salad with iceberg lettuce, just to name a few. Any of these things on an empty stomach and I am running to the bathroom within hours, even if it has been days since I had gone. Eat any of these together in the same day- and I am on the toilet for days afterward!!! :lol:

Thanks Carrie! I'll have to try a few of those... I already eat a lot of lettuce... I love watermelon during the summer.. So I'll have to go and get me some.. Yum Yum! I'll have to try some of the others too.. Cabbage and corn normally do it for me.. But not this past week.. lol.. The colace is starting to help some.. but not really a lot yet.

I so hope it was implantation and hope thats what all the catches and cramps are from.. Now I wanna poas.. I normally do good about waiting.. but I have the urge.. even though I know at 7 dpo their is no way I would get a BFP even if I am pg. I charted my temps online today.. I had a dip yesterday and today my temp was the highest it's been this cycle. (8 dpo) The pink spotting was just that one time yesterday and all three spots were the size of a nickle together.. so it was very little.. So I don't know what it was.. Hoping implatation.. Still having the catches and weird feelings when I move and all.. and sometimes when I sitting still.

Well, I'm glad the clomid is working and giving you a longer LP. I really wouldn't be to upset about the progesterone levels.. Anything over 15 medicated is good. I think some of it has to do with the size of the follie and how many you release.. Last month when I had the 27.6 the night of the day I got my LH surge.. both side were hurting so bad I couldn't even stand up straight.. I didn't sleep for two whole nights.. and had a hard time moving..lol.. I was sore for a week. This time was nothing even close to how it was last month. I really think I released two eggs last month.. the RE said it was very possible. Anyways the main thing is that you have a normal lenth in your LP so that when you get pg it will support it until the placenta can take over..and it looks like that's working... So hopefully this will help you get that BFP!

For me I'm more irritable while taking the clomid and during my 2ww. It's different for everyone.. But it is all part of clomid. Sorry I couldn't help more on that one.

As far as feeling "O" yes.. The day I get my LH surge on OPK, that night I usually start getting my "o" pains.. It will cramp on one or both sides and you will feel tender and bloated. This month wasn't to bad.. I had the "o" pains about 1 am and they lasted for a few hours.. MY surge lasted three days. Now last month.. We feel I released two eggs and them sucker much have been big.. The night of the surge.. I couldn't stand straight and couldn't sleep because I was so tender and crampy for two days.. I was sore for about 4 days..That's the only time that's ever happen and my progesterone was real high..

I don't use a monitor.. But.. I've heard it doesn't work well with infertility drugs.. Because most of the drugs are to trick your body into doing what it is suppose to or what they want it to. I've never used one.. Because I had read that it doesn't work with those who have PCOS.

Oh yea.. You will notice symptoms in your 2ww on clomid that you wouldn't notice normally.One of them that you might notice is because you can have higher progesterone levels some women experience tender places on their bb's.

Thanks so much! I feel completely normal today.. I have had just a few twinges but not as much as I had 6-8 dpo.. I'm 9 dpo today.. I haven't had any more spotting other then that one time. I've had some CM.. like today is abundent and creamy with a little bit of stickiness to it. Still feeling some what tired, but that's it today. I guess we will see how the day goes.. It seems to change from one minute to the next..lol.. I was really :oops: gassy :oops: last night.. :lol: DH wasn't to happy about that.. I was soooo :oops:

Thanks Paula. . you have been a huge source of support this month. I am on 12 DPO which is amazing for me. AF hasn't come yet today as of 430 PM Chicago time, but I sure feel her knocking (backache, etc). So if I can have a 12 day LP, that will be a success. It's just so hard to be at the mercy of AF!

What type of spotting?? When you had your HCG drawn did they have them do a progesterone as well?? Try not to freak out to much.. Stay clam.. and take it easy.. As far me.. I'm 11 dpo today.. Temp still up 98.4 (chart updated) Yesterday.. My BB's started feeling tender in area's.. (this normally happens right after "O" but didn't this month.. Weird.. I did have one day where my nips was hurting from cold air at I think it was 5 dpo but that was it until now) they are still tender this morning. When I wiped after FMU I had a lot of CM today.. Kind of looked EW.. But I didn't feel of it to see. Ive been tired..nothing else really going on. I'm hoping for a BFP to end this long journey, but am scared to get my hopes up.

BabyMed.com (my chart) says to test on June 6th.. AF is due June 5th if I'm 34 days this month.. I o'ed a day early this month.. So I think AF is due June 4th (33 cd) I so want to test in the morning.. I'm trying not too.. but it's so hard.. I don't want to see a bfn...and testing early.. I have a chance that's what I'll get even if I was pg.

I chart anything midnight to midnight, So yes if you get flow at 8pm then you would chart it as today's date. It doesn't count unless you have flow. So if you don't start your flow until tomorrow.. Then your LP this cycle was 14 days.. That's great!!!

Well.. Tonight.. I'm so tired, back hurts.. bb's are sore (they started getting tender yesterday.. more so today).. I POAS this evening.. which I know for me it's way to early and wasn't FMU.. Got a BFN... So I'll have to probably wait until Wed. to POAS again.. If AF doesn't show on Tue.. Temps are still up high which is good.

I started crying.. I used one of those internet cheapies that you get free with Pre~seed.. Well.. The light wasn't on.. (only light was from a window) well the test has a crease in it and I thought it was a faint +, my heart started racing and then when I turned on the light to take a closer look saw that it was a crease.. My heart dropped and tears began to roll. That's why I should have just slapped my hand and waited until Wed., I mean.. I knew it was rather early and even if I was.. I would probably still get a BFN. I've been feeling blue all night.

For me, AF really started last night (I like your midnight to midnight rule, I'm using that!) and this AM -OMG she was here with a vengeance! I don't usually have bad menstrual cramps but I woke up at 6 AM in misery. I could barely stand up. I popped 4 ibuprofen right away and as soon as they kicked in I was fine. I don't know what that's about- must be the Clomid? Anyway I'm feeling much better now. Stupid AF!

Well, I just thought I would check in.. Weird.. My bb's are really sore tonight.. Not really the nips but my whole bb's... I've got a really bad headache.. I got it after I got home from the concert... Had a couple of catches earlier in my abdomen.. Those are my symptoms for the day.. :lol:

Tomorrow (Sunday) is 13 dpo.. I’m praying my temps will still be up and AF will stay far away.. By my count.. Af should be here Mon.. But by babymed.com it says it will come on Tue and it says I should test on Wed, So I’m going to try and hold out until Wed to test just in case.


OT: I had fun at the concert it was nice to get out and not think about wanting to be pregnant.. Well.. I did think about it for a while .. while we were at the park for the concert.. All the freakin pregnant women and strollers with babies in them.. and DH had to point out every baby he saw and a couple of times he would go oh look honey that girl is pregnant :roll: That was kind of depressing.

So not only did they double in 48 hours, they tripled!!!! I am so relieved, you have no idea. The dr is giving me 10 days of progesterone supplements just too give me a boost since it is a little low, but she wasn't concerned so now I just wait for my u/s in two weeks!! Hang in there guys and soon you'll be in my shoes. Although, I seem to worry more now than I did before the BFP. :wink:

Today hasn't been a good or bad day.. I'm really depressed.. Today is 14 dpo.. Well.. No sign of AF .. No cramping.. bbs still sore.. BUT :cry: I had a big temp drop this morning.. Still above cover-line but barely.. I was so upset.. My DH said the temp could be wrong or I could still be pg.. Which I don't know how that would be possible. I know when AF comes I'm going to break down.. :cry: :cry: :cry: Now it's just a sit and wait game. I wasn't even going to post today.. Because I've been upset.. but guess I needed to share my pity party.

If for some reason I don't start by Wed. morning.. I'll test.. Is it possible to still be pregnant with a temp drop like that?

Well, the Skank showed up today and she seems ticked off.. I had bad cramping all night last night.. It was terrible.. The worse I've had so far. So we are back at CD1 Clomid is 4 days..

My plans for this month:

Continue with Clomid days 5-9, Prenatals, Prenatal Omega, Baby Aspirin and Colace.

I used Pre~seed last cycle and have some left over so will probably use it again this month. I may have to order more.. or may just use it the days around "O". Don't know..

Continue with OPK's

First two weeks I will diet and go to the gym.. 2ww I will mantain 1500-2000 diet and take it easy (doctors orders)

My Next AF is due July 8th.. Test July 9th and have RE appt. July 12th if no BFP then I have a lap done sometime in July.

I didn't get the dizzy thing either, but it was a warning on my bottle. Clomid symtoms can appear rather quickly...especially if you aren't used to taking it on a month to month basis. I hope the dizziness has subsided. Good luck with Oing!! :)

Not really. . .I was on 50 mg last month. I had a few night sweats. I felt VERY FATIGUED the week after "O". Nothing too bad. I "O" on my own, I take it for luteal phase defect.

Jill, Yea, for some reason I was really disappointed this time around.. I guess cause I know I'm starting to run out of options. Even thought DH says not to worry about it if we have to we will figure out a way to do IVF. The slightest thing has made me cry the last two days.. I've been at the point at times I just wanted to sleep.. because the pain and depression was just to much. But I'm slowly coming out of it.. The ladies here at the APA seem to help a lot with this.. At first.. I thought I was going to have to take a few days off from the boards.. It's sad at the time I really didn't want to hear all the I'm sorries.. but I'm glad I didn't.. Because all the ladies who have came to me, to let me know that they care and how sorry it wasn't this month.. in some way is helping me through.

Sarah, As far as being dizzy.. The first time I ever took it I got some what light headed and it gave me headaches. I have PCOS and hardly ever "O" or got AF on my own.. This is my second time on Clomid after many years (I'm on my 3rd cycle this month this trip around) The only symptoms I do go through every month is moodiness and "o" pains night of surge.. The intensity of the "O" pain is different each month for me. Also my symptoms are different each time in 2ww.. Sore bbs are a given with clomid because of the higher progesterone levels... I had headaches this month.. This month I had catches and cramps and one single time that I spotted a small amout at around 7dpo.. but I think a blastocyst was trying to implant and something went wrong.. So now I have AF as you know and thiis AF is kicking my arse.

Also.. because it effects the hormones in your body within hours after you take the first pills.. you can have side effects on your first day.. Everyone I've ever talked to have had some type of side effect from clomid.

Good Luck with this round.. Do you have an MLP set up (progesterone test) if so what CD are they setting it up for? Also.. Are you charting?

The reason I asked.. Is some women still ovuate later on Clomid.. To me CD 20-21 is not ideal for a MLP.. I don't ovulate until between CD 18-21, so for me it's not good to have it done then.. I had mine done on CD 27 two months ago.. I called and told them.. What my charts and OPK's were saying and told them I didn't feel like I was going to "O" until later.. Which when I was on Clomid years ago.. I didn't "O" until late too. So I told them I woudl come in on CD 21 but.. I want a second one done 7 days after I know I've "O" and she told me to just set it up when I "O".. Which that month my progesterone was 27.6

Wow... that is weird about your temps. I find that using www.babymed.com free chart is the easiest to set up and use. I could never figure out fertility friend.

Hey, Well.. it could be one of two things.. an effect of clomid or BFP.. I hope it's a BFP! But, Clomid has fooled me many times. You described my whole last two weeks, only to get AF this week. Ok.. As far as breast.. Clomid does raise the levels of progesterone which is the hormone that causes us to have sore swollen breast.. Most women on clomid have some type of breast discomfort with in their 2ww. Cramping at 6dpo or later can be implantation related. How's your temps looking? C'mon BFP for Meesha!!!!

I agree w/ Paula- it doesn't matter what CD it is, your progesterone level is supposed to be 7 DPO- that is the peak of progesterone, mid luteal phase.

Aurora, Glad your dr is doing what he can to improve your chances.. What made him decide to go up to 100 mg? Because of your progesterone levels? You are having a much better LP. When I took Clomid years ago I took 50mg.. this time around.. I've been on 100mg.. 3rd cycle this month. I so hope you get your BFP this month. Let me know if you experience anything different taking a higer dose.

I know how you feel.. That's what was so depressing for me this month.. I even had what I thought was implantation spotting that happen only once, when I wiped.. I got a bfn and the skank came right on time cd 34. So I understand just how cruel this can be!!! Well... at least you are only few days from finding out.. I so hope you get a BFP!!! Yes please keep us updated.

Amy, It doesn't matter if you take it with food or not.. Which ever you feel.. I normally take it at 1pm during the day.. I either eat before then or around that time.. It doesn't bother my stomach. So did you start your clomid today?? If not when do you start it?? Good Luck!

I've never heard of a doctor giving 25mg.. That's half a pill.. They normally start off at 50mg and then go up if you don't "O". I would just ask your RE about it.. I wouldn't take more then what he tells you.. besides he's only going to give you enough for a month at a time. But I would talk to him about it.. doesn't sound right.. What days are you going to be taking it? 3-7 or 5-9? What's your diagnose? The reason you are taking clomid?

Sarah.. because of the hormones it effects it can change your AF.. It doesn't always and you may even be different from month to month while you are on clomid.

I didn't get to talk to my Dr. (it's a she)- the nurse said she wanted to double the dose, I assume after seeing the progesterone level didn't go up. But I got an extra 3 days on my LP so I was willing to stay on the lower dose. I have an appt on the 18th for a different issue, so I'll talk to her more then. So far, no side effects on the higher dose.

I went for my first TCM/acupuncture appt yesterday. It was great. Alot of dietary recommendations which I am totally willing to try. He wanted to treat me w/ herbs, but I'm not ready for that. I'm going to try a month w/ the diet changes and acupuncture (and clomid!) and see. My TCM guy was not pleased that my Dr. is not monitoring me on Clomid w/ ultrasounds to check my lining (it can get too thin?) and to check for ovary cysts. I was a little worried about that too. If I don't get my BFP this month, I'm going to see an RE. No more Clomid from my OB. I have an open access insurance, so it should n't be a problem.

AND. . .we got DH s/a results (drumroll, please!) TOTALLY NORMAL!!! Yeehaw!!! his count was way above normal at like 145 mill/ml. Motility >50% and morphology normal.

Sorry AF isn't cooperating. CD1 is usually first day of full flow. If you aren't having a normal period, I would consider taking a HPT before starting CLomid. Unless you are coming off hormonal birth control that may be making your AF weird? Talk to your Dr OK!

Here I am...lol.. I've been busy.. We are going to buy a new house soon.. So I've been out messing around with that.. Today my DS and I went looking for him a truck. So I haven't been around.

It's fine you took it 30 minutes late.. as long as it was with in an hour of the time set to take it each day. If you are on day 5-9 of clomid then I would start OPK on day 12.. That's also the day I would start BD.. since you don't know when you will "O" because of this being your first month.. Once you know when you "O" on Clomid.. then you can adjust it later if you need.. I don't start BD until CD 16 but I'm a late "Oer" (7 OPK will take up to day 18.. If you haven't had an LH surge by then day 18 then you will have to buy more)

I want to try acupuncture so bad.. it's just so expensive here. Carrie sent me the dietary list for my blood type that her TCM gave her.. It was funny.. I eat and drink alot on the avoid list for me..lol.. With you being on the clomid.. I wouldn't take any herbs either.. I try to even stay away from soy while taking the clomid.. I do take my prenatal omega, prenatal vitamins and a baby aspirin.. oh yea colace too.. My doctor told me to take all this so I know it's ok with my clomid. I've never had an u/s with clomid.. and you know I've been on a lot of clomid.. I'm seeing an RE and she doesn't do u/s with clomid either.. just the mlp the first month. Yes.. if you are on clomid for to long it can cause a thinning in the lining .. Baby aspirin will help increase your lining.. talk to you doctor about taking it.

Congrats on your DH S/A... I know he feels much better now knowing he's not contributing to the problem. My DH was so scared and didn't want to do the test.. but once we got his results back and found out he had like super sperm.. he got a big head.. I wanted to slap him!!!!

Sarah.. I think I would be begging my DH to go and get me at least a window unit.. so you can stay in one room of the house.. It's not good for your body to get to hot while TTC and when you get pg it won't be good for you to stay hot all the time.

As far as clomid side effects.. they will come and go through out your cycle.. I know how you feel.. My sister has been staying with us... (we don't exactly get a lone alot of the time) So it's been hard.. I've been staying in my room a lot when she is here.. Just can't deal with her sometimes. And she defiantly don't understand anything I'm going through with all this.

As for me.. I'm on my second day of clomid.. I'm so tired tonight.. But don't know if it's because of the meds are because I was out all day looking at land, then came home cooked and watched a movie. Other then that nothing new.. We did decide if we don't get a BFP this month we will go ahead with the lap next month.. and talk to the dr. more about IVF.

Hey all! Sorry I've been m.i.a. lately....been busy bedding :lol: . No, really!! Okay, heres my recent events. I have been BD'ing every other day since day 10. I'm on 18 today...my monitor registered peak yesterday and today. Poor DH!!!! OMG Ladies-talk about pressure! Since this is my 1st month on clomid I'm irritable anyway, so I basicaly have no compassion when he tells me he's 'feeling the pressure...HE CAN'T DO IT....HE FEELS he knows whats expected-too much pressure (lalala)'! Anyway, yes finally it happend yesterday, now I'm waiting for him to come home the the grand finale (how romantic). I do have one ?. I alternate months for each ovariefor my O day. EIther 17 and 18 or 22 and 23. Last month it was 17 and 18, so this should be 22 and 23. However....17 and 18 show my peak and on Fri. I had O pains on the right...2day I thought I felt them on the left. Is it possible for me to actually O twice...once from each ovarie???Anyway, GREAT to vent!!! Thanks for letting me :) Chelseaxoxo

Here me is.. I've been rather busy today.. Sleepy now.. But have to go and pick up my sister from work at 1am.. (she doesn't have a car)

Below are your questions.. and some answers.. But I would hope others would share too.

1. WHEN ARE WOMEN WHO TAKE CLOMID MORE LIKELY TO "O"? This is a tricky question especially if you have never taken Clomid before.. Most women "O" between 13 - 25 days.. If I were you I would start on CD 12 and go every other day until after you "O" .. If you DH has good S/A then you can also BD on day of surge if it doesn't land on your every other day.. Once you see when you "O" this month.. Then you will know a window for next month.. if you don't get that BFP.. But I'm hoping you do!!!

2. WHEN THE TEMP ON A CHART GOES WAY DOWN AND THE NEXT DAY SHOOTS BACK UP THAT'S A SIGN OF "O'ING" RIGHT? Yep.. The only thing about it though.. normally once you get a high temp you've already "O".. Most women not all.. get a dip before "O" Normally the same day as your LH surge or the day before.

THE REASON I ASK IS I REMEMBER PAULA TELLING ME THAT WOMEN ON CLOMID SOMETIMES "O" LATE. This is true.. especially if you have irregular AF. It's different for each women.. that's why you have to start around day 12 on your first month .. Because you don't know when you will "O".. I've seen where a lot of ladies have "O" later then day 14.

3. WHEN ARE THE BEST CD'S TO START BD'ING? CD 12 every other day.. including the day after surge.

OUR RE TOLD US TO BD FOR 2 WEEKS EVERY OTHER DAY, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHEN HE TOLD US TO START!! I'M ON CD 10. If you are still worried and am not sure.. Then you can always call your RE tomorrow and ask..

The first month is nerve wrecking because you don't know what to expect.. So I completely understand what you are going through.. Just hang in there!.. Are you using OPK's??

Hi Chelea, You can "O" from both sides.. but it would happen with in 12-36 hours after your LH surge. The LH is the hormone that spikes and causes the egg/s to release. If you released more then one.. Then you will know if you have a progesterone test done.. If you release more then one egg the higher levels of progesterone is made. But if you are talking about "oing" at different times of the month.. Then no it's not possible.. You would "O" from both sides close to the same time, not days apart.

Just curious....what days do you usually O? I have stayed b/w days 19 and 21 for the last few months. I tried switching my days up that I took my clomid on, but it did not change the days I O on! I was not sure it would anyway. (but it was worth a try) I hope this month is our BFP month!!! :D

DH says I should write a book on how to 'turn the table' on your husband and have them not want sex....hahaha. I just want to know if y'all think its important for us to bd tonight. we did every other day since cd10, then on Sat., Sun., and yesterday(16,17,18). Any suggestions/opinions would be great. Hoping we all get BFP's this months!! Chelseaxoxo

I hate 2ww too.. Especially on Clomid.. I have so many freakin symptoms that I don't know what to think and it drives me crazy .. then when AF comes.. I get really upset. Anyways, I really think you are in the 2ww.. I hope you get that BFP this month!!!

Well, I hope it means BFP.. This is the only thing I really hate about Clomid.. the symptoms during the 2ww.. I even had implantion spotting and cramps last month.... on top of all the other symptoms I was having.. You can't trust your body during the 2ww because of the clomid. Good Luck!!!

Possible Sore tender BB's, Cramping, pulling feeling, twinges, sick to stomach, dizzyness, cold like symptoms, headaches., being tired and irritable... and I'm sure many more.. Because of the hormones.. You are more likely to experience some pg/AF side effects from clomid, this is why our bodies can not be trusted during 2ww. It's depressing I know.. Believe me I know!!!

Yes.. it does take FF a few days before it draws your lines.. I draw my own and it's 3 high temps. Well.. I'm so happy you were able to BD on all the right days!!! C'mon BFP!!!!!

Hey Amy...I never had O pain either before I started the clomid. This month I had it, and on BOTH sides believe it or not. It was more a shooting/stabbing like pain rather than cramping, though. I know how ya feel....I WANT A BFP so bad....its consuming my life!! GOOD LUCK! Chelseaxoxo

I get "O" pains with Clomid.. Some months it's really bad and it feels like it's on both sides and then some months are not to bad at all and feels like it's only on one side.. I also get bloated.

Hey Sarah, I have been having some pretty horrific headaches myself.. but I've had migraines for years... I usually take IB profin and find myself a dark room and sleep it off.. I've only had to go to the ER and get morphine 2 times... and honestly thats pretty darn good with the migraines I get... Obviously though, during this time we should probably only stick to tylenol.. just to stay safe... hang in there girlie...

Hot flashes are no fun! Luckily mine were pretty mild though when I was on Lupron (sent me into menopause), but the one thing that did help at night was to sleep nekked :wink: And I kept a glass of water on my nightstand to cool me off internally when I would wake up sweating...ew

Carrie I agree with you! If I goto bed with anything on I sweat and my clothes get wet...then I get cold....only to be freezing when I kick the covers off. I've found 'nekked' is the best :wink: . Also, I've been super thirsy and it does cool me down, I sleep with a quart of publix diet sweet tea on the nightstand (how ghetto no glass..lol) but its usually gone in the a.m.

In other news, I'm 5 dpo and I'm getting SO IMPATIENT!! Really weird symptoms I'm having...cramping slightly all day yesterday and really weird fluttering in my stomach. Woke up this morning with more'mild cramping'. I know I can't be having implantation signs yet, so is this a normal side effect of clomid? Anyway, just thought maybe y'all have had something similar. Sorry guys.. We had storms come in today and we were without power for about 6 hours.. then tonight.. One of our parrots eggs hatched and they were not feeding the baby so I had to make a 45 minute trip to get some instant onces... I'll be hand feeding every 2-3 hours for the next week.. then every 4 hours then we get to move up to every 6 hours.. Fun fun fun.. I really don't like feeding 1 day olds.. they are so freakin tiny.. By the way.. if you haven't realized I raise parrots. I also sell bird related items. So anyways... That's why I haven't been on much today..

Sarah, 5 am is fine as long as you do it everyday around the same time.. with in 30 minutes. Morning is better to do temps. I take mine at 6:45 am every morning. OPK's you want to take in the afternoon. Surge usually comes in between 10 - 12.. So they say between 1-3 to take them.. But you can take it in the evening if it's better for you. I'm able to take mine around 2pm because I run a business from home.

Amy.. I'll have to go and look at your other post.. I'll reply there.


As for me.. I'm on day 15 had a neg. opk.. We start BD tomorrow.. should "O" later this week. I do have weird things going on with my temps though.. But that's all for now..

This is my 2nd cycle of clomid this year...I'm on CD20 and yesterday I felt a dull ache in my abdomen all day. This morning I wake up with low back pain and I feel SO bloated! I look bloated too! :shock: Now I'm back to the ache in my addomen again with bloat! Anyone else feel like this!?! This round has been a beast for me...between the moodiness, hot flashes, and now the ache/pain...I don't know if I want to do this again! :?

My cycles have been everywhere since I got AF after my ectopic. As short as 28 as long as 40....But my last cycle, with Clomid, was 30 days.

So, I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that we might have caught the egg...and wait & see. I don't know if I can hold off POAS for another 12 days!! :lol:

This one is the size of a quater. Right now I'm only feeding the one.. But will have more (bigger I hope) to pull in about a week. I usually like the parents to feed them the first two and half weeks of life before pulling to hand feed. She has a couple more eggs.. if they hatch out I'll have more day 1.. for some reason the mom is not feeding the babies and I lost one the day before last.(the first to hatch) :lol: if that's the case I should have plenty of practice... I've been doing this for 6 years.. I don't have to do many day 1's though..

After a surge it can take up to 36 hours to actually "O" so it may take a day or so to get that temp rise. If your cervix is really tender that can mean that it is low and open.. which is good. Hang in there .. you are almost in 2ww.

I "O" with Clomid normally between 18-21 (more so around CD 20) Well.. with your abdomen being tender.. I would say you are getting ready to "O".. I get very tender and bloated and have sometimes bad "O" pains with clomid. Hang in there.. The "O" fairy is coming!!

Meesha, Glad you joined us. You sound a lot like me.. I would rather have all the side effects that way I know it's working.. What we must put our husbands through.. Last month I was crying .. and my DH asked me what was wrong.. and I Cried even more saying "I don't know it's the hormones" :lol: It's going to be all worth it in the end!

First YAY!!! for + opk.. As far as temp rise.. I usually have a dip and then the morning of my surge is up just a tad.. like yours.. So it's nothing to worry about.. You are still well beneath what your coverline will be. Now.. remember you can "O" 12- 36 hours after you surge.. I usually "O" with in 12-24 hours.. The last two times it was between 12am-2am.. My DH s/a was like your dh.. If I were you.. I would BD tonight.. Tomorrow and the next day just in case.. then you can rest in your 2ww.. I know how you feel.. I'm always telling my DH that my boby is defective.. That I'm only half a woman.. He laughs and tells me.. he the one who is 190 years old.. He has excellent S/a way above normal.. but he has a really bad back which makes it hard for us sometimes.

Good luck... Three more days of BD for you girlie!!!! Put your hips on a pillow and tilts your legs back for 30 minutes before getting up.. I know sounds crazy.. but it has worked for a lot of women..

My Dr. informed me that it is a misconception that you are Oing when your temp dips. She says it dips b/f you O and then when it rises, you are Oing (either the 1st or 2nd day of temp increase).

You should BD every other night until your temp rises above your coverline (if you are charting). If you aren't charting, then BD every other day until 2 days past O.

so i posted this on the struggling board, but i wanted to get your take on it!!!


well, I woke up last night in the middle of the night and thought I was dying! seriously, I was in so much pain I thought the side of my face had been hit with a baseball bat or something! So once I woke up enough to realize that it was my ear, I thought long and hard about going to the ER. I decided to wait it out and go to my dr. I have had this sinus infection for a while now, but did not want to take anything b/c it is about time for me to O. (I guess I waited too long to treat it and ended up with my ear being infected too....this is the first ear infection I have ever had) I thought I could wait it out....so not the case. So anyway, they gave me two shots. One with a steroid and one with Biaxin (antibiotic). They also started me on Omnicef (antibiotic) and Floxin ear drops. I also have cough meds with codeine in it. I really need to take the cough med b/c I am in PAIN and everytime I cough I think my ear drum is going to rupture! So, I took some of the cough medicine and started the ear drops, but wanted to get your opinion on whether or not I should start the Omnicef pills. I should O within the next couple of days...should I wait, or would it be OK?

Did you explain to the doctor that you were TTC? I have asthma and some pretty bad allergies so I always have to explain it to my doctor when my meds need to be adjusted. I was diagnosed with asthma while I was pregnant and they put me on steroids. I was terrified and didn't want to take it. Then the doctor simply explained...."If you can't breathe then the baby can't breathe." Jack was born 5 months later and has never had any problems.

I guess what I'm saying is that if you really are sick and the doctors know you could be pregnant....well you have to have a healthy mom to have a healthy baby!

Check with Paula....I've seen her post a link to a medical site that explains the risks involved with medication during pregnancy.

I hope you are feeling better soon! I hate ear infections!!!

The Antibiotics are fine to take.. I've read articles where it has even helped some ladies conceive. What all does the cough meds have in it? Once you have "Oed" I would NOT take the cough meds.. Their are certain ingredients in different cough meds that have been known to cause m/c and birth defects. If I were you I would call my RE and let them know what meds the ER has put you on. Hope you get to feeling better... I would hurry & get those antibiotics in you so you won't feel the need to take the pain meds or cough meds.

A Little update on me. I've planned out BD this month perfectly I hope. I had my temp drop yesterday and should get a + surge this afternoon. (I'll let you all know if I do). Cramping hasn't started yet.. but for me it doesn't normally until a few hours after I surge.

I was really upset yesterday.. felt like we were going to miss our chances this month.. My DH was having a lot of problems with his back this week which sometimes causes problems bding. Well.. I went ahead and held off until last night CD 18.. I knew my surge would most likely come on CD 19 and I would be "oing" sometime between CD 19-20.. Anyways.. at first yesterday we thought he wasn't going to be able to do anything last night.. Which I acted fine in front of him.. But went to the bathroom and cried.. Which he caught me doing.. I didn't want him to feel bad and feel it's his fault.. I was really feeling it was my fault.. if I didn't have all these infertility problems then I wouldn't need clomid or timed BD.. I felt like a failed woman.. or half a woman.. Anyways.. he was so sweet.. He came into the bathroom.. he could feel that I was in there crying.. He gave me a hug and told me not to lose faith, that it's going to happen and for me not to give up! The thing I didn't want to happen happen.. He said this was all his fault.. and I told him no it wasn't.. If I were normal.. we wouldn't have to try so hard. He told me he knew in his heart that things were going to turn around for us and we were going to have that baby! At the time I still felt some what on the negitive side.. But cheered up.. We were able to BD last night and hopefully will be able to tonight.. After BD he told me see I told you so! We both want twins.. a boy and a girl. Well, I am just so happy I have a supportive DH who loves me. He showed me support last night that he hasn't shown quite that much before.

I am sorry you had a bad night, but it ended on a good note! :wink: Hopefully tonight will too! :wink: My DH also has back problems, so I know how frustrating that can be. On one hand you know they are hurt, but on the other hand you want to scream b/c you go through all of this with the clomid, labs, and OPK's...it just like ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS HAVE SEX!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Here is a story to make you feel a little better, or at least bring a smile to your face: Last month I had a good cycle. Got my surge on CD 20. Same day that DH also got a stomach virus. That night I kept laying there thinking OK, he is not going to let this stomach virus stop us...he was like, "I am so sick, I just can't." And he really was sick, but I was like, "Take some **** Immodium and just get it over with!!!" :lol: :lol: :lol: Well, we ended up not Bd'ing for like the rest of the week b/c he was so sick...I started to feel bad toward the end of the week b/c I realized I was mad at him. When I saw the BFN I was like "this month it is YOUR fault." :lol: Actually blaiming a failed cycle on him rather than myself made me feel a little better! :lol:

Anyway, I hope you get that surge today! Let us know! Hopefully DH's back can hold out at least a couple more days. Stay positive.

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL AND UNDERSTANDING DH..IT'S REALLY NICE TO HAVE THOSE CLOSE MOMENTS W/ THE DH'S ISN'T IT!?!? MY HUSBAND ALWAYS SEEMS TO STICK HIS FOOT IN HIS MOUTH AT THE WRONG TIME..BUT THEN WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS HE WILL SURPRISE AND SUPPORT ME.. I HOPE YOUR DH'S BACK FEELS BETTER SOON!!
I FEEL LIKE I'M BROKE ALL THE TIME. I THINK WE ALL KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE--THINKING WE ARE FAILING OURSELVES AND DH'S.. MY THOUGHT IS THAT WE TRY SO HARD FOR THAT PLUS THAT WHEN WE ALL FINALLY HAVE OUR BABIES WE WILL LOVE THEM AND APPRECIATE THEM THAT MUCH MORE....

WELL, I GOT MY FIRST ++++ ON WEDNESDAY. SO I SHOULD HAVE "o"ED ON THURSDAY...SO TODAY SHOULD BE 2DPO... BUT MY TEMPS ARE STILL ALL MESSED UP CAUSE IT WAS COLD IN OUR BEDROOM THE PAST 2 DAYS. MY TEMP WENT UP ALITTLE TODAY BUT WE STILL HAD ONE WINDOW OPEN (IN THE 50'S AGAIN LAST NIGHT.) i can't shut BOTH WINDOWS CAUSE THEN I HAVE HOT FLASHES REAL BAD AND CAN'T SLEEP... I DID HAVE 2 DAYS OF +++OPK'S THEN FRIDAY NOTHING.. DO YOU THINK I "O"ED PAULA???????

Sarah, I think you Oed... i would say you got your dip on CD 18 and you either "oed" on CD 19 or 20. I would count day 21 as my first dpo.. When do you go in for your progesterone test?
