Oh no Paula. I am soo sorry to hear that.. but I am so glad that you are getting more tests done... what the heck is your doc's problem? Obviously the clomid isn't working out.... why didn't he just put you on the femara? grrrr.. so frustrating

As for me... I don't friggin know why she wont go home. She has an apartment.... a really nice one at that.. DSS has spent a whole 3 nights there since she's had it. Her mom pays the rent and utilities. Step daddy bought her a ford focus... and mommy gives her money every week... (must be nice) :roll: My little brother has been staying with me and he tells me that he is convinced she still wants my DH.. I told DH that and he says he wishes she'd get hit by a bus. He cant stand her.
I dont know.. she isn't here today.... YET... but I imagine she'll be here soon. :roll: :?

Amy.. I know how hard this is on you.. Sounds like it's going to take DH to tell her off and make her leave.. You shouldn't have to do it.. He should realize how this is tearing you up and she doesn't need to be such an active part of his and your life. Her DS yes.. but that's it.. Sounds to me like she is a spoiled brat who tries to get her way anyway she see's fit. She sounds like she puts herself first over everyone else including her DS which is not good at all. Yes, you guys need to have a friendly relationship when it comes to Dss.. but that's it.. you have to have a separate life from her.. When he is there with you and your DH it's your family time not hers.. She needs to find her another man (which this is something I spent plenty of nights praying for my DH ex) that way she can have her on little family time with him and Ds.. You kwim?? I'm sorry.. she is just pissing me off.. You shouldn't have to deal with all this crap! HUGS.. It's going to get better.. In may take some time but it will get better. Don't let her ruin what you and your DH has.. Because that's what she wants. So don't let her win.

Well, as far as the doctor goes.. he's convinced that the clomid is working.. It's main goal is to make me ovulate.. which it is doing.. So that's why he wants me to stay on it. My problem is I think I have an implantation problem.. where the egg is failing to implant. I'm hoping the test he ordered will help shed some light.. I had a much longer list of test.. but at least he is starting somewhere.. He also order Kayrotyping.. which is to check for chromosome disorders. So we will see. I go for a 2 hour Glucose tolerance test this week.. The SHG which is sort of like an HSG but not.. Made me sick to my stomach and she gave me the orange crap right afterwards and I pucked it all up..lol.. Now I have to go back and drink the orange crap all over again..

I love this blog, it is gives me flashbacks of Melrose Place! Dr Phil would be having a time with this Amy, it would be something like “what part of get the hell out is not making sense to you, crazy lady?” You have to be a saint to be putting up with all that you have..I know there has to be a long, crazy history there.

Well, I am on CD5 and day 3 of clomid. It doesn’t get easier the more you take it. I have the worst headache since the second I swallowed the first pill, hot flashes, and everything is irritating me. I was catching up on all the postings and it sounds like we are all within a few days of each other, YIPPEE! This 2ww won’t be so bad this time with us all pulling our hair out together! :wink:

No.. When I went to the RE last month they were talking about doing a lap if I didn't get pregnant this past month.. We talked at this appt and he said he felt since the HCG my tubes were clear and fine.. that he would do an SHG (they put saline water in you like they do with the dye on HSG but they use an ultra sound machine to look at everything..) to check out my uterus and he did that while I was there.. He said everything looked good in there. He thinks the lap would be a waiste of money for me. So for now.. I don't want to get the Lap done .. unless they feel I need it later on.. If my money would just get here.. I would do IVF now.. But I guess I will do the clomid or what ever until that gets in.

Sorry, I haven't been on much today.. My DH and I watched movies together today.. We are staying up late tonight to watch some more.. I just came here for a minute while he is watching the news.

I m doing good.. starting my clomid.. Paula and SaraH u are almost my cycle buddies we can share many things as I m just some days behind you both..

Just have my fingers crossed and praying for BFP in my first cycle I am really very upset after hearing about my SIL.. she is due in SEPTEMBER.
We did'nt know that as she wanted to surprise us by bringing home a baby but could'nt hide her tummy

Well, good we can all be each others cycle buddy.. besides we know we will "O" a few days a part.. but we should still be in the 2ww together..

I know how you feel.. I just found out one of my SIL is pregnant.. But I'm happy for her.. She is my age and she and her DH (Jeff's Brother) had a still birth baby boy named Jerry.. Which was really hard on them.. It's hard enough for me to lose one early on.. I can not imagine what it was like for them. Anyways this will be there second child together.. their DS is 6.

Then.. my other SIL calls me tonight.. Her and my (Jeff's Brother) were just married in Feb. They have been trying for a baby ever since.. She did have an HSG and the only tube she has showed up closed... But we were thinking that since she can't handle pain what so ever that maybe it cramped.. Anyways.. they were on vacation in florida the last few days.. she called me tonight because Friday.. she was spotting and thought AF was coming early.. and she stopped a couple of hours later and was suppose to start today.. so she is all excited.. She was buying test while she was on the phone with me. Anyways.. They were going to try on there on a few months and then do IVF.

So it seems everyone around me is getting pregnant.. every store I walk into.. two of the guys my DH works with.. are having babies.. everytime I turn the TV on. It's every where.. ok.. ok.. ok.. it's feel sorry for me time.. :lol:

It's the clomid talking.. I have one more day left.. I am so freakin emotional this month.. I guess because I haven't gotten over what happen last week.. I cried through out the movie "The Family Stone" If I had known what happens in it I would probably never have watched it.. it was a good movie.. but reminds of the pain of losing my mother to cancer. I lost my father to cancer too.. but I was only three when he passed away. I was 29 when my mom passed. Anyways.. I've been an emotional wreck..lol..

Paula i really agree to wat Sarah said.. when i had my AF visit this month i was quite upset coz i hade put up lots of hope.. but then I thought of you and Sarah.. how you both are coping with it.. that encouraged me a bit. I really think i sjould have joined this forum long time ago.


As for me, I just took my first pill (CLOMID) yesterday and today i feel like I m not getting proper AF..It feels like they have stopped... does this happen usuallly??? I will check again within an hr or two.. to see the flow.. I am so scared.. whats happening??? I sign of hope and things start going wrong :cry:

Has this happend to any body else?? apart this I have no s/e at all

Oh, ok. I've never been to NY. As a matter of fact, I've never been anywhere up north. North Carolina is as far as I've been! :lol: I have been west to California and east to Italy and south to the Panama Canal, but north is something I still need to conquer! :lol:

When is the next trip for you to visit family? I would love to do lunch! Hiram is about two hours away from us. That's as far for me as driving to our RE!! :lol:

Hello girls! It's been a rough couple of weeks here, and I was away all weekend so I've had to catch up...

Little background, since my BFP on July 4th, I started spotting on the 11th. They had pulled a BETA on the 10th and it was only 68. My LMP was June 1st. So we pulled another BETA on the 13th. I began to spot again on the 14th, and started cramping. Today I saw the doc and my BETA from the 13th was only 24....so, it looks like I'm not really preggers after all!?! :cry: I can't believe this is happening AGAIN!!! :evil:

Doc feels that this time the egg fertilized but did not implant. How's that for luck??? I've M/C at 8 weeks(after seeing a HB), had an ectopic that cost me my left tube, and now a "delayed" period. Is this considered a M/C? I got 3 BFP's and a positive BETA! I'm so confused... :? Doc says we keep pulling BETA's once a week until I am 5 or below. This is now TWO pregnancies from Clomid that have not stuck....I don't think I'm EVER going to do Clomid again!

Sorry to rant, but I'm so angry, frustrated, and sad....I just don't know what to feel! :roll:

I am so sorry this is happening to you. You have every right to feel angry, frustrated, and sad. This is a very hard thing to have to go through, no one should have to endure it. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. We are here for you if you need us.

I have had the opposite, my AF was very heavy but did lighten up on CD4 and then pretty much done on CD5, so heavy for 3 days..but I do think the clomid shortens them, because i am DONE by day 5..

SarahH, I am doing great! I am ready for next week to get here. I go in for an u/s the 26th!!! How are you?

Sarah111, I think that is normal. It seems that once I started clomid that my cycle was lighter too. The first couple days would be heavy and once I started my clomid it would just taper off and stop. I wouldn't be worried about it. Keep in mind that a medicated cycle is different from a "regular" cycle, so you really can't compare the two. I hope this helps. Try not to worry too much! I hope you are doing good!!!

I am so sorry! Yes.. it would be considered a m/c or chemical pregnancy. What all blood work have you had done? Are you going to a ob/gyn or re?

sarah111, You have to remember that Clomid is going to change everything about your cycle.. because of the release of hormones.. So even the way you feel this month may be a lot different then normal.. I thinked I replied somewhere else about my experience.. I have two normal days and one day of spotting on Clomid... that's even with me doing the CD 5-9, so I stop before my first dose of clomid.. When on the right dose of clomid.. it makes your cycles more regular.. Like with mine.. every month is 34 days for me.. I "O" around CD 18-19 and I have a three day AF.. None of this is normal for me.. Which there was NOTHING normal about regular AF without clomid.

I am so sorry you are so stressed.. It seems that clomid seems to amplify everything and make it worse.. I try to stay away from my sister and my DH sister.. because they tend to say and do things that makes me bite my tongue.. But on clomid.. it sends me over the top.. it's because of the surge of hormones.. Does everyone know you are on clomid? I would explain to them that you are already hormonal and you don't need the added stress.. if that doesn't work.. turn the ringer off and don't answer the door.. :lol: I'm so sorry.. I don't know any wise words to make this all better.. Just know you are not alone .. we all know how you feel and either or going through it too or have been through it before. So we understand how you feel. Make sure you take time to your self.. to clear your mind and take some deep breaths.. This is very important. Just remember in the end this will all be worth while..

I totally agree with Paula.. Time will pass on.. just try to keep yourself relaxed.. when ever some thing is not turning out the way u want it just think that this is for the time being.. things will get better as soon as i Stop CLOMID.. :D, We all have family problems dear {{{HUGGSS}}}, I know its hard.

Hey cycle sista,

i went shopping, that helped tremendously! even though i had to buy a size up because clomid makes me fat, it felt great to get a few new things to wear to work today. I also make sure I do my makeup and fix my hair even though i don't feel like it. whenever i start feeling out of control, i do the little things that i can control and it really picks up my mood. Go for a long walk with your iPod belting your favorite tunes and SING! I was really crabby the last few days and i have done a 180 today..feeling good (still hot flashes, but headache is gone) and i know it was because i spent a couple of hours yesterday just doing something for me.

My thoughts and hugs are with you all!

Sarah, That's a normal temp in the first of the month.. Are you using fertility freind? There should be a place on there that allows you to share on there website.. You need to highlight the share link and you can put it in your signature line or www button here on APA in your profile. Would love to see your chart.. Maybe one of the ladies who is using FF can help you a little better.

I'm done with Clomid and on CD8. I go in on Monday 7/23 for my u/s to see follie(s). Hoping there's 4!!! :D

I'm thinking our last IUI will be sometime around the 28th.

I've decided this will be our last shot for a while and those feelings were confirmed after getting on the scale this morning!! :shock: I've gained 10 lbs in the past month! I'm waaaaaayyyyy overweight and the hormones and stress don't help out at all. So, if this fails I'm taking some time off and losing some poundage!

It sounds like we are almost on the same kind of cycle! Today is my last day of taking Clomid and I also go on Monday to see how many follies I have. I'm hoping for big numbers!! :D
I do have a question....is there a reason as to why your IUI won't be until the 28th? Mine will probably be on Tuesday and Wednesday (the 24th & 25th). Well, at least that's what my RE did last time. I did my HCG trigger on Monday after my u/s and went in the next 2 mornings for IUI. (It could be the reason why it didn't work!) :x Anyway, I was just curious. Hopefully, the Clomid has been good to you this time around!

Clomid can give false pos on OPKs....start them on CD 10. You should 'o' on CD 13-15 (7-9 days after last pill). Your temps look great. You got yourself a Clomid temp thing going on....it will go away in a day or so. Higher temps while on Clomid is normal.

I am on CD 5 and took the Clomid this AM. Nothing yet....I get most of my side effects on day 3. I had a slight hint of a hot flash but I just made DH turn up the AC...LOL!! I am not cranky yet...LOL!!

When you body is makeing enough Estrogen to mature the follies you will notice your temps will be overall lower...except the days you on Clomid. Low temps are actually considered prime pre-o. You will also see a larger rise at 'o' and more consistent post-o temps when the Clomid is working properly and you are at the right dose. Right now you have a great Clomid and pre-o chart to me!!

Oh yes...I am a temping pro, and I never lie (although some people probably wish I did..LOL!!) about charts. Yours looks fabulous. Nice normal variations and very steady temps. That is what we like to see. Makes it easier to see when 'o' happens.

Oh love....you should 'o' if Clomid is working 7-9 days after you last took a pill. So you should get a pos OPK today and tomorrow and 'o' on CD 14. I 'o'ed on CD 14 like clockwork. A temp dip before 'o' is a myth. Some women get one, some don't, some get them sometimes. What you are looking for is a temp rise post 'o' of 0.40 degrees or more that stays that way.

Last months chart did not indicate 'o' for me either on your chart. Did they up your dose? That could be why you are seeing the Clomid work now. Sounds like last months late OPK was a false pos caused by PCOS. Very common. Before I was on the right combo of meds I got tons of pos OPKs and never 'o'ed.

Well...CD 9 and getting the HIGH CBEFM reading. I am on the last day of Clomood....thank goodness. I know it is working as I feel the ovaries churning in there...LOL!! I decided to use those crappy OPK strips for the next few days. I must remember to do them at the same time. I am using them for fun. Once I get close to 'o' (CD 16) I will use the OPKs I love.

Me, I've not been feeling good.. I've been really tired and feel exhausted. I'm guessing this is due to the thyroid issue, cause I know I'm not pg. What's bad is I am fixing to "O" I think and I don't have a sex drive right now.. Just feel blah. I can't tell what's going on this month because my temps have been totally wacked! I'm still waiting on a call from my Dr. office with the results from the GTT and I haven't gotten the results in from the Kayrotype yet either. I'm going to ask her if she can have the doctor look over my test results and possibly go ahead and prescribe me something for my thyroid so I can get to feeling better.. I 've been researching and found that this could be what's been causing my M/C's in the past. Hopefully my temps were wrong this morning.. We will see tomorrow.. No +opk yet. That's all that's going on here.

Paula - I am so sorry you feel like butt!!! I hope they call soon with your results. Have you tried some extra B-vitamins? It really helped me. It took 3 weeks for me to get my Karyotype back....it was the longest of the results I was waiting for.

Thanks Kimmie, I'm taking 800 mcg of Folic Acid, 2mg of B6, 6 mg of B12..These last two are in my multi-vitamin (Prenatal) Before Jan. I was taking a B complex as part of diet plan. Once I begin to start really tcc again I changed my supplements.. I figured it would take a while on the Kayrotype.. They were suppose to get my GTT back later on the day I had it drawn.. I called yesterday for the results and they put it in for the nurse to call me back and haven't heard from her yet. Once you put a call in.. They are suppose to call back within 24 hours.

I started getting "O" discomfort last night.. BD wasn't very fun because of it. I got a + Opk today and now my left ovary is hurting.. Have really good "O" pains this evening. Trying to decide if I want to try and BD this evening or wait until tomorrow.. I normally "O" kind of early after my Surge.

Oh yea.. I wanted to share another story with you.. Cause I know you have PCOS too.. A friend of mine... She was my supervisior when I lived in LA. We have been good friends for years and since moving up here 5 years ago.. We have kept in touch with each other by email, myspace and visiting each other. Well a few years back she was told she had PCOS and that with that and her being so over weight that she wouldn't be able to have another child and losing weight would be a real battle and that she probably wouldn't ever succeed. Well.. about 4 months back.. she messed up her knee, twisted it and tore a tendon and something else and was getting ready for surgery, when they were doing all her blood work for surgery.. They found out she was pregnant.. This was a few years after she was told there was no hope. Her weight is 299 and half lbs, She's 33 and is about 5'8". She is now 5 months pregnant with a baby girl... She told me since being pregnant.. I think it was like 7 lbs she has gained. She was telling me her weight and stuff.. because she weighs a lot more then I do and she knows doctors in the past told me that that was part of the problem. She emailed me all this because she didn't want me to give up hope , she knew I had tried so hard and had given up hope for two years and knew I was struggling with all this again and felt like I was running out of time. She said If I get anything out of the email.. she hoped it was for me not to give up it will happen.


I hope her story helps you as much as it's helped me.

Hey Sara.. Your chart looks good for 2 dpo.. It should climb a little more over the next few days. You had a good dip with a good temp shift the next morning.. So I would say you did "O" on CD 14.. some times the following couple of days it will slowly rise.. but should rise a little bit more then it is right now. It's still rather early to tell much. When you go in on the 30th I would make sure they do a progesterone check.. which I'm sure they will. Congratulations on the "O"!!!! Now Come on BFP'S!!!!!

Well, I love having "O" pains.. I would worry if I didn't have them on a medicated cycle. Like you said.. atleast I know it's working. I'm also going to love morning sickness, my breast hurting so bad I have to hold a pillow next to them.. It's going to be some of the best days of my life! :)

I'm glad it gave you as much hope as it did me. I had lost all hope.. Then few days back.. xterememousey (I think that's how you spell her ID) she shared her pg news on STC.. She wasn't to sure about doing so.. because she didn't want to hurt anyone.. anyways I'm glad she did.. because I had really given up and was only buying my time until I could do IVF.. Well.. like me.. she did 16 cycles of clomid.. and got pregnant on her 16th cycle (I'm on my 16th cycle now).. Well as you know.. they say if you don't get pregnant in 6 cycles you won't on clomid.. Well.. I think I've taken clomid more times then a lot of people on here and had gotten to the point if it hasn't worked by now, then there is no hope.. Well.. it worked for her.. she has all the same problems as me and is now pregnant.. then finding out that my friend is pregnant too without any IF help! I have ton's of hope now. :)

Now where is that stork????? :lol: He needs to bring our babies!!!!

i just wanted to post and say i am so happy the BDing is done! sorry but TTC becomes a chore, mostly for my DH. you'd think that i was asking him to do the dishes! :shock: my test date is Aug 9

i wanted to ask you experts a question. i haven't had DH tested yet, it hasn't worked into his schedule, have any of you tried the over the counter tests? I would love to just rule that out AND make it easier, more comfortable for him to test. my RE only collects in the middle of the day and it is hard to work around that.

would love to hear your opinions.

That at home kits do not tell you all the aspects of the semen. So, really it is up to you both to decide what is best for you. I am sorry your DH finds this a chore. That must be hard. If my DH does not get it at least once a day all cycle he feels neglected...LOL!!

Paula - I get that way on Clomid too. It sucks. I swear it feels like I am going to poop out my uterus. I am only on CD 11 and I am feeling the preasure building. I am not due to 'o' till CD 16....so I should be feeling like butt for the next few days!! Hope this is it for you!!!

Ha, i guess "mount up cowboy" doesn't turn him on!! i am probably a little too rigid with my charts and pills and calendars...i at least put on something lacy....sometimes :)

LOL!! yeah....it can get a bit routine so to speak. We do different positions and just have fun. As long as the goods get there is all that matters...LOL!! My DH is also very into my charts and meds and crap. He really is good. Once and awhile he will get tired of TTCing....no sex....just TTCing.

I bet if you look around you can get a good price on a sperm analysis. Ours was not too bad. It was worth it too after it came back normal. Now we can have sex all we want with no worries about possibly depleting sperm count.

I asked her whether Clomid could change my cycle.. she did not Deny it and asked me to use OPK's till 2nd Aug and then she would get my Progesterone levels tested. She was confident I hav'nt 'O' yet so she did'nt perform u/s..

Well hoping to get a +OPK soon...

I answered in the other thread. Remember your first dose may not be the one that works sweety. I did not 'o' well on 50 mg. If you do not 'o' soon then she will do the blood progesterone test. That will help them to up the dose. I HATE when they do not look at follies, I love to have the pics!!!

Carol, How far do you live from your doctor? When I had my DH S/A done.. We collected the sample oursleves at home in a clean new small jar.. Then I had to get it to the doctors office/lab within 2 hours of taking the sample.. I think it was easier on him because he didn't have to go in there and be embarased. You may want to see if they will let you pick up a cup from their office and see if they will let you collect the sample at home and then you run it up there.. You may have to take it at the house in the afternoon.. or have him take a late lunch and you guys go somewhere he can do it.. (TMI) It may be more comfortable for you to do it for him... My DH won't do it.. I had to take the sample. :lol:

I would not use the at home test.. You want the lab to do it.. I agree with Kimmie.

How old is your husband.. I think I saw a post with your age in it and you are close to my age.. and if so.. if he is too or older.. then he needs to have one done.. like me you don't have time to waste if it's not you who is the problem. Good Luck!! I hope you get that BFP on Aug. 9th!!!!

That you don't release higher amounts of progesterone without "oing" and that they can tell what they need to know from that test.. Blah Blah Blah.. I'm getting rather ticked at my doctor right now.. None of the nurses have called me back.. I've put in a call twice this week.. with no return call.. I think I am going to go down there Monday.. If I need to be put on thyroid meds or any other meds.. they need to go ahead and give them to me.. Since I'm fixing to be in my 2ww.. So I'm not setting my self up for another failure. I don't even know what my GTT was.. and if it was not good.. then they need to go ahead and put me on the Metiformin!

I am a double 'o'er...both ovaries or two follies min out of one. It is genetic. Clomid makes it like 3-4 follies. I pee every 30 seconds...LOL!! I am SO looking forward to a 9 mos BFP this time. I decided that since I only get PG with sex on top, I am taking one for the team this month. Goodness...we all need to graduate out of here!!!

I know the blood Progesterone is the key...but man...seeing a good follie or three is really the bomb!! I love seeing the right size and a good uterine lining...makes me feel good. That is hard to do these days after so long. The whole "You do not need that" drives me crazy, although it is a small thing for sure.

It reduces the loss issue and if you are on Clomid and have PCO you have such a high risk of early loss...you need Metformin!! they are denying you what can reduce your loss risk to be below that of a non-fertility fighting woman. If I could even explain how much Met has helped me and fixed so much for me....I just cannot use words to do it justice.

We must fight for what we deserve...good thing is when we do we win 10 fold!!! We are persistent and will get there very soon!!!

Sara....your dip is very typical for 4 DPO. Your temps are bit low persay...but that could just be your body. I know one other chart I have seen that was a PG chart that looks like yours. So, I would not get your hopes dashed yet as it is too early. I would go get a blood Progesterone done on Monday to be sure 'o' happened and your Progesterone levels are good. But...it looks good to me.

It reduces the loss issue and if you are on Clomid and have PCO you have such a high risk of early loss...you need Metformin!! they are denying you what can reduce your loss risk to be below that of a non-fertility fighting woman. If I could even explain how much Met has helped me and fixed so much for me....I just cannot use words to do it justice.

Well ladies, Clomid has really kicked my a!! this month!!!!! I've been in doubling over pain since yesterday.. Well, that's if I could actually double over.. That would make it hurt even worse.. I had to have help getting up on the bed last night I was hurting so bad.. I can't even stand straight.. and was having a hard time moving around because of the pain.. and OMG if I sneezed!!!! I so hope this is the month!!! after going though this.

Well, I thought maybe I was wrong.. I think and FF shows now that I "O" on CD 19.. well all this bad pain started on CD 21... I do have really great news though I woke to really good temps this morning.. I shot all the way up to 98.7!!! Take a look at my chart!!!!

Well, I must go back to bed and die now.. :lol: j/k.. I am going back to bed.. This is hurting sitting in this chair.

Sarah....still not convinced you 'o'ed but this could be simply a oral temp issue. I would say if you do not see a pos OPK in the next few days you are to go in for a blood Progesterone and see what is up. It could be you need a higher dose of Clomid...not unheard of, the 50 mg did nothing for me.

I am on CD 13....my uterus and ovaries are trying to escape....LOL!! My monitor is still on high as it should be. I should get a pos OPK tomorrow, with a peak CBE reading in 3 days. The trigger will be given on the same time the pos OPK happens. We have been BDing every am with me on top (as I think I have a cervical issue as I only get BFPs when I ride the summer sausage...LOL!!) and using the Instead Cups after. We will start the 2 times a day today with Instead Cups. They work aweosme!! Holds all the semen right where it should be. I take it out and see the amazing results many hours later. I recommend these for all of you struggling to conceive on Clomid. they were recommended by my RE as it cuts down the exposure to the vaginal acidity and keeps the cervix next to the sperm in the seminal pool to get them in a better sperm happy environment.

Well....I have found that lying on my back like a pap worked best. Take the cup and squeeze it in the middle. Push it against the lower vaginal wall to scoop up the semen, let it go as you insert, and let it open. Push the top lip of the cup right under your pubic bone (you will feel it immediately). give it one quick seal and then leave it alone. Wipe up and then leave it in for 6 hours. You will not leak semen at all. It works better for TTC than AF....I never could wear these for AF...LOL!!

It is not messy to take out either. Sit on the potty, bear down, insert finger and feel lip at pubic bine and simply pull out. You will see you DH's deposit (or waht is left after all the good stuff gets to where it should) in the cup.

Good for you...you have the right to know what your levels. The 7 DPO tests will tell you if your progesteone reflect ovulation and is where it should be. It shoudl be above 15 on Clomid. When the results are given to you really depends on your Insurence. I got my results next day and have the worst insurence. Some women get them that day. I am praying you have high levels and get that BFP!!

Hi ladies,

i was catching up on the reading and it is so interesting the different approaches each RE takes. I have to go in twice a month to do a sonogram. One on my second day of AF to check for cysts (she won't prescribe more clomid without checking for cysts) and to make sure I "O"d and then the second time is whenver she feels i might be ripe and she checks follies... this is all at a $170 a pop!! also, my doctor is VERY big on doing an IUI right away. i have had to tell her we wanted to try the "old fashion" way for a few months. If i get a BFN on the 9th we are on the IUI fast track....that will also be when we can check out DH swimmers. Kimmie -I like the idea of keeping it between the (.)(.) :lol: this should be much easier since they schedule the IUIs all in the morning..just need to be ready to hit the door fast and get there within an hour. but i am hoping it won't come to that because in less than two weeks.....BFP!!! positive thoughts and baby dust to all!!

I get the u/s on CD 2-4 too to check for cysts and I get a blood hCG done too. My Re has already done the follie check and since I make many awesome ones does not find it worth doing each cycle unless I do not 'o' by CD 20. Have you tried Instead cups? Poor man's IUI girl. Worth a shot before going into IUI. Try several positions as well, you never know what will work for you. I hope you get a BFP this cycle and do not need anything else!!!

The boob holders are the best!! Our RE only does it in the AM too. We had to be able to get there fast and keep the boys body temp. The boobs are the best place and my RE's staff clapped and congratulated me on putting them in the right place for transport...LOL!!

I'm ok.. I am still rather sore.. Not as bad as I was yesterday and this morning. It still hurts when I move around or jerk or sneeze and especially when I have gas. Which I've had a lot of today.. I'm guessing because of the progesterone levels. Other then that I'm good..

How are you doing?? Your questions about progesterone levels.. They like to see 15 or above on a medicated cycle. But anything over 10 is an "O" but is not as strong as what they like to see.. I think Kristen's was 14 the same month as her BFP. Make sure you post what your levels are on Tue. As far as how long the test take.. that's according to.. Do they have a Lab in office? Or do they have to send it out.. If it's an in office lab.. then you should know with in 24 hours.. if it's where they have to send it out.. it could take a few days get your results back.

I so hope this is your month.. I hope we all get to graduate!!!

Hey Kimmie, Thanks.. I was :shock: this morning when I saw my temp! I think you are right and FF is wrong.. I really feel like with all the pain yesterday and today.. and then the temp jump.. I had to have "O" yesterday. I really think I released more then one egg this time!!!!

Dang girl.. You are going to be wore out! That's a lot of BDing.. My DH would look at me like I was crazy if I asked to do it that much..lol..

LOL.. Everything will be ok.. I am very emotional in my 2ww.. can snap at the drop of a hat.. I tend to avoid those who tend to umm p!ss me off .. especially during my two week wait.. Normally I don't feel good, I've even felt sick to my stomach... My bb's hurt and I really get tired.. Now these are all symptoms of pregnancy.. But because of the elevated levels of progesterone from the clomid.. these are also clo-moods and symptoms.. When on Clomid you can't trust your body.

Now when I was pregnant with my DS.. 16 years ago.. I don't remember being moody. Do remember the morning sickness and bb's that hurt really bad. But everyone is different.

Do what I do.. Make sure you warn everyone that you are not in your right mind.. that hormones are taking over because of Clomid and can't and shouldn't be help liable for your actions..lol..

Paula, i am laughing because i think our DHs are the same. i wrote before that he gets frustrated with my schedule of BDing and Kimmie our resident nymphette says "i can't keep him off me" Miss 5x a day. makes me tired thinking of it. but back in the day we held our own..that lasted the first 6 months we dated, now its "i am tired, my back, my knee." God does have a sense of humor putting men in their prime at 18 and us in our 30s.

I have to agree 100%.. Back then he couldn't get enough.. now.. it would be once every couple of weeks.. mine tells me he feels pressured.. that he doesn't feel like a whole man because of his back. It kills him during my fertile window..lol.. It's like an act of congress...lol..

While he hates the pressure of performance, he hates the idea of no sex during the 2 WW more...LOL!! that is when he is ready to go and I am too tired on the Progesterone...LOL!!

For the last few days I am getting AF type cramps usually at night..and last night after BDing I could not move for abt 5 min coz of pain.. I dont know wats going on.. My temps shot high which gives me 95% surety that I have 'O'.. . Last night I used OPK it was not a +ve but it was the darkest line I have seen since I m using OPK's.. It does'nt matter though.. me and Dh are BD every other day till CD22...
:wink: I am in the 2WW ..with tender bbs usually they hurt in the 2WW but this mnth they are just tender.and today I have abdominal discomfort and (TMI)but when i wiped I had lotion/cloudy CM.. dont know this all means but I sure am praying to get a BFP this month.

As I am in the Gulf region for past 12 days and DH is busy in work I just dont know how to spend my time, and aaarrgghh yesterday DH told me we are staying here for about a month... :cry:

Hey Sarah!!! Sounds like you have already 'o'ed and have the normal symptoms to me. Cramping and pains in the 2 WW are very normal. Proably the corpus luteum doing its magic. The CM is also very typical of the 2 WW.

I am sorry you are there for a month. I would get a phone book and start calling around. You could give the rundown to your issues to them and see if they would be willing to see you for your stay there. I am sure you can find a good one to accomodate you.

This 2WW really sucks.. :x :D

The dip is normal.. a lot of women get a dip between 5-10 dpo.. sometimes it consider an implantation dip.. but you can get it without inplanting.

Gas.. is completely normal in the 2ww .. it's due to progesterone slowing down you digestive system. I get it bad during 2ww.

The CM is due to estrogen levels..

Cramps.. could be a good sign!

It's hard to tell what is just from the hormones because of clomid.. or pg symptoms..

Mine started messing up after I had him.. I had some problems before. In my 20's I went 4 years with no AF at all!

My son is 16, he turns 17 in Dec., He makes me feel so old..lol.. I'm already starting to get empty nest symdrome..lol..

Well.. If I were you I would probably sleep a whole week.. Maybe my whole 2ww... LOL..

I know how you feel.. I have felt defective a lot over the years! My mom had some problems too.. She had me when she was 16.. She had two m/c in her 20's and then had my brother and sister (twins) when she was 34 (she turned 35 a few months later) My mom died of cancer when she was 49.

Now my grandmother and great grandmother were another story.. My grandmother had 6 kids 2 of which were twins.. But she started when she was like 12. My greatgrandmother was 11 when she started and she had 10 kids.. the last one was still birth. But they were both finished having kids early in life. both lived to be a ripe old age.

So that was the last three generations on my mom's side. My grandmother did have problems when she got in her 30's.. It's very possible she could have suffered from PCOS. I don't know.

Sarah, you are still above coverline.. It's really to early to tell. Hopefully it will shoot back up!

SaraH....sorry this month was a bust. I remember how POed I was to not be 'o'ing on the lower Clomid dose. I do know that once you get on the right one you will 'o' like nobody's business!!!! My friend finally 'o'ed on 150 mg and got PG that cycle!!! She had been TTCing 2 years!! So here is to 150 mg!!!

Sarah....I think your chart is a bit off because 1) not all your temps were taken at the correct time, and 2) you temp orally. Where you never got a pos OPK there is a chance that you 'o'ed very weak or not really at all and you need a higher dose. Have you lied tothe doc and gotten a Progesterone test yet? You really want to....go and tell him you do not think you 'o'ed as your temps are low and your OPKs were all negative. It is best to be safe than sorry. You want to know if this is the dose that works or not.

I am 1 DPO today....now I can just hang out.

I'm just now starting to get over some of the soreness and fullness from "O". Some times I still have very mild pulling and cramping... I've been sleeping a lot.. Nips just started getting sore today.. Woke up this morning.. with them hurting..lol..

On my maternal side.. My grandmother had a set, My great aunt had two sets and my mom had a set. There is more.. but felt these are the one's who had a direct link to me.

Totally normal for me to have a slight temp and a major head ache. Ibuprofin will fix that for ya.

I know fraternal twins are hereditary. It is actually more you inherit the ability to release more than one egg per cycle. It is only passed on the maternal side so the dad's don't count. If you have a family history on your mom's side then it is very possible you could have them too. I have had 2 sets....technically 3 if you count Jake's vanishing twin.

Sara, I think that the 150mg is gonna get you to "O". Have you done the GTT test to check your glucose and insulin levels? Metiformin may be a good idea for you since you have PCOS.

I want to have mine naturally :cry: but they told me I wouldn't be able to something about me having a C-section for my son blah blah blah..

Hating the 2ww!! 9 dpo and i am getting the old AF signs, BB are starting to swell, means they will get very sore soon. have a HUGE zit in the middle of my forehead. got into a HUGE fight with DH because he is unsupportive, doesn't care about my needs, blah, blah, blah. he is sleeping in the other room as i type this. which is ok because who wants to sleep with a Cyclopes anyway?!? so not trying to be a negative debbie downer, but i don't feel anything different...read some websites that talk about ladies whose early symptoms were the same as AF..to the point where they would run to the bathroom - tampon in hand, but nothing was there. I don't chart, but took my temp this evening and it was 98.7 so may try to keep up with that, from reading all your posts, high temps are good, when they drop means AF is on the way.

anyway hope this BFP happens because i may not have anyone to get me knocked up next month! :lol: no worries, we will be fine, i just have to send DH to "time out" from time to time...we have only been married a year so i am still training him and breaking his bachelor spirit!

Hating the 2ww!! 9 dpo and i am getting the old AF signs, BB are starting to swell, means they will get very sore soon. have a HUGE zit in the middle of my forehead. got into a HUGE fight with DH because he is unsupportive, doesn't care about my needs, blah, blah, blah. he is sleeping in the other room as i type this. which is ok because who wants to sleep with a Cyclopes anyway?!? so not trying to be a negative debbie downer, but i don't feel anything different...read some websites that talk about ladies whose early symptoms were the same as AF..to the point where they would run to the bathroom - tampon in hand, but nothing was there. I don't chart, but took my temp this evening and it was 98.7 so may try to keep up with that, from reading all your posts, high temps are good, when they drop means AF is on the way.

anyway hope this BFP happens because i may not have anyone to get me knocked up next month! :lol: no worries, we will be fine, i just have to send DH to "time out" from time to time...we have only been married a year so i am still training him and breaking his bachelor spirit!

Take your temps in the morning.. it's your morning basal temp.. So keep it within reach.. and try to take it at the same time each morning before getting up.. you need to have been asleep at least 3 hours.

I set my cell phone for 6:45am and take my temp.. then get up go to bathroom and then take my Synthyroid and then back to bed.. LOL

when my doc gave me it for the first time which was 1.5 year back she told me she had many women concieved with this drug who were facing harmonal imbalance... But I think I was not 'O' on my own and the drug would just make my body bring AF.. that was the reason she prescribed CLOMID but asked to continue PROGYLUTON

Oh.. Well.. I was going to say that if the Clomid was the right dose and you "O" that you would get AF on your own. If you didn't "O" then it would have to be induced. And that this would be a way to tell if clomid is working at all.

I'm not sure what Progyluton is.. I think I've read a post where you mentioned it before.. but I have never seen anyone else on it or know what it is.

Pharmacodynamic properties The estrogen in Progyluton is estradiol valerate, a prodrug of the natural human 17ß- estradiol. The constituent norgestrel is a synthetic progestogen. With the composition and the sequential regimen of Progyluton, including an estrogen monophase for 11 days, an estrogen-progestogen combination for 10 days and a treatment-free interval of 7 days, a menstrual cycle is established in women with an intact uterus, provided the preparation is taken regularly. Ovulation is not inhibited during the use of Progyluton, and the endogenous production of hormones is hardly affected. The preparation can be employed in younger women to develop and regulate the cycle as well as in perimenopausal women to treat irregular uterine bleeding.

During the climacteric, the reduction and finally loss of ovarian estradiol secretion can result in instability of thermoregulation, causing hot flushes associated with sleep disturbance and excessive sweating, and urogenital atrophy with symptoms of vaginal dryness, dyspareunia and urinary incontinence. Carol - PMS and AF have the exact same symptoms. It is really impossible to know if you are PG or not till you get that BFP...LOL!! The 1st year we TTCed we fought more than now. Remember that TTCing takes a toll on a marriage...especially a new marriage. Most men feel very used, and bad they cannot get thier wives PG. Not to mention how all we talk about is babies and timed sex. It is not easy for them. Nothing like only being your wifes sperm donor. Remember he has feelings too and this is not easy for him. It will help you both not fight and get you closer to where you want to be. Take it from someone who has been there, done that, and has the T-shirt.

Sarah - temps look good. If you wanted all you have to do is send for your records to another doc and then get the work up. I would have it prepared for next cycle if you decide to stay. Your temps are back up which is great. You definately ovulated...how well who knows. I would do the 100 mg next cycle on CD 3-7. You should see a marked improvement. I know I did.

There is no reason you could not have a VBAC after a normal across the abdomen C-sec. Especially how long it has been. Some docs are just poops. My C-section was a cross.. He was flipped over and his head was hitting my pelvic bone.. during delivery.. I had a cold.. and the machine wasn't reading my readings very well.. because I was coughing and sneezing. So it took a few hours of wondering for them of why I wasn't dialating.. They even induced me.. I was half out of it.. They finally decided to put the monitor up inside me.. on him I think.. Then they realized my contractions were going off the chart.. He had her stop the IV and start another. I don't understand why he did that.. I think the because the induction drug was still dripping. They did an U/S.. He didn't tell me what was going on.. until after he talked me into an epidural. which hurt like a mofo when they put that in.. Then they told me I was going to have to a have a c-section and fast.. My poor son..his head was all scratched and swollen.. he has a permanent scratch above his right ear. Because of the epidural and the fact it didn't work at first.. as soon as they got him out.. I guess they put more in.. They paralyzed me for three days.. So yea.. I'm gonna be some what in charge this time.. I was only a 17 year old who knew nothing about nothing.. Well by golly I do noW! :lol:

I so hope I get my sticky bean this month.. My temps are still up.. last two days has been 98.6 .. Haven't seen a dip though.. but I know you don't have to have one to be pregnant.. You know.. I think this may be the first month I haven't had a dip?? How weird is that??

My peeing is starting to get a little bit better.. it's like the first 5 days after "O" are always the worst. Of course my nips started getting sore.. and headaches.. I've also woken up a few morning.. with my pillow wet.. I guess it's a night sweat? I guess because of the elevated temps and hormones? IDK. I think that's all that's going on right now..

Sorry.. You have such severe hormone effects.. Is it the HCG trigger that kind of makes thing worse for you? I know the progesterone does most.. But thought HCG causes m/s? I bet you did sleep well last night.. LOL .. I think I wouldn't wake up for a few days... LOL.. I will have to go and look at your chart now.. Woot Woot.. 2dpo.. come on sticky bean/s!!!

Paula - I refuse the epi with Jake. I hate needles and refused them all...including IVs and blood work...LOL!! I told them I was not sick, I was having a baby...LOL!! They were giving me some BS about Emergencies. I told them that if I had an Emergency than we would cross that bridge when we got there...LOL!! I am such a stubborn mule.

There is NO reason you cannot do a VBAC. I would do it your way!! This is your PG and baby and no one can tell you that you are not allowed to try. A 17 yr olds body is quite different than a woman in her 30's. Your body should respond MUCH better now than as a girl.

Looks like your system is getting used to all the hormones so far. I never get a dip when PG...only when not...LOL!! I get sweats too in the 2 WW. I am not sure if the shot makes a huge difference as I have ben this way for about a year now in the 2 WW. Was not before the last loss though. It is actually the rise in Progesterone triggered by ovulation and PG that causes m/s. The hCG is mearly a chemical produced by a implanting/implanted embie that signals more Progesterone to be made by the ovaries. The ovaries (corpus luteum) makes the Progesterone to sustain the PG till the placenta is fully functional at about 12 weeks. Then hCG levels drop. The extra hCG and Progesterone probably does not help my cause...LOL!! The more Progesterone I make and add is probably what is doing this to me...LOL!! As long as it works I am good....LOL!!

I can honestly say I am not an enjoyable PG lady. If babies could be grown in pods I would so opt for that route...LOL!! I hated being physically PG. Loved my son, wanted him dearly, but hated being PG. My poor DH swears it will be better this time....I just say "Yes, Dear." ...LOL!! I just always feel invaded by the pod people...LOL!! I will be so happy once I just deliver...LOL!! Glad you like the temps :D

Once I'm pg and know I'm pg.. I'll have to talk to them about the VBAC.. Things will defiantly be different this time around.. As far pregnancy.. I loved it and I know I'll love it this time around too.. Other then my nips feeling like someone took a sledge hammer to them and M/S.. once I figured out what helped my m/s I was fine.. riding in cars for to long would make me sick.. If I drank milk when I first woke up.. I wouldn't get M/S.. I also had to have a bowl of cereal every night.. I couldn't eat onions or hotdogs or anything like that with my ds.. it would come right back up. This was before we knew you are not suppose to eat hotdogs while pregnant..lol..

Anyways.. Yea I think my body is getting use to the hormones.. I know my progesterone levels have to be good this month with my temp being so high..

I would drink so much milk when PG with Jake...LOL!! I ate Sushi 2 meals per day all PG long, and craved it all the time. I could not eat onions or popcorn. Popcorn came up...onion gave me gas pains worse than labor. I had no real m/s with Jake...my boobs were going to fall off though...LOL!!

I am sure I will "enjoy" my PG this time more than the last time, for sure. But no way do I enjoy being PG. I just am not comfortable and I think that is part of it. It is worth it though for healthy children.

I am thinking differnt for you is good!! So no dip could mean the big BFP!! I am not used to symptoms like this too early myself. I get 3-5 days of nothing after 'o'. Then I get nauseous and tired. Sometimes I get the boob and nip thing...other times nothing. This cycle is weird. I am already big boobed with sore nips and eating my DH out of house and home...LOL!! The peeing is driving me mad as well...that is usually a 7+ DPO thing.

Your temps are really eratic.. you really need a progesterone test.. Are you taking your temps everyday at the same time? If you get AF early.. then you need to really watch it next month.. You may need to be put on Progesterone.. You may have LPD. You LP needs to be at least 12 days long.. I hope it's just a fluke temp and that it shoots back up tomorrow!

I slept at 1:30 am and woke at 5;30 am today and took my temp at 5:30 which was 97.4 .. I slept again for 4 hours and took my temp at 10 am which was 98.. which one should I temp???

This is the same thing which happend on sunday. I slept at abt 12 am and tempd at 4;30 am which was 97.1 then again tempd at 9;30am after a 5 hour sleep .. it was 98.1...

My pre-o temps were mostly taken b/w 9;30am to 10 am... then I started sleeping early and waking early so my timings were b/w 5:30 am to 6:30 am... :x ... and some where b/w pre-o and post-o my timings were even b/w 12pm to 3pm... I dont sleep at the same time every day so i cant temp at the same time :cry: :x

Really when you take temps.. it really needs to be close to the same time.. all early or all late.. your later temps are going to be higher.. That's why I take mine every morning at 6:45 earlist 6:00 latest I've taken it before is 7:00am..

This is probably why your chart is so wacky.

I'm a night owl.. but get 3-5 hours asleep before temping each day.

Paula....I do have an interesting u/s photo! WDYT? :D If you look right above the obvious gestational sac and baby, I feel like I see something else. Do you? It is even more pronounced in person. I am going to take this to my dr. and have him look at it tomorrow. I am hoping he will do another u/s. :lol: Don't know if I will be able to talk him into that or not. This u/s was done at a little over 6 weeks. The girl that did it was fresh out of school and spent maybe 10 seconds. She just saw the h/b, let us peak at it, and it was over. Once I noticed this on the pic....well my imagination went into overdrive! :lol:

Sarah - You will use the temp closest to your actual temp time. Do not temp more than one time per day. Since you are getting enough sleep before the 2nd temp you will use that. It is very important to temp the same time each day for accuracy...this is even more true if you are temping orally. To adjust temps in a 2 hour range of your temp time (any temp over or under the 2 hours should be discarded) you will do the following:

Early - add 0.10 degrees for every 30 minutes early you wake up to 2 hours
Late - subtract 0.10 degrees for every 30 minutes late you wake up to 2 hours

Paula - Your temps are totally looking awesome!! I am so excited for testing day!!

I am 4 DPO and still bloated and having the ovarian pain typical of the growing corpus luteum. I am doing the pee every 3 minutes thing...LOL!! What else...still eating well, tired, yet I am thankfully able to tell you that my nips are no longer hurting...HURRAY!! Ten more days and I am being forced into a blood hCG, not something I like...LOL!!

Well... I'm sort of freakin out.... Getting really scared and emotional.. I feel stressed and I am worried about weather I am or not pregnant this cycle and it is making things 10 times worse on me. I'm sitting here crying while typing this.. I don't know what's wrong.. Just feel really depressed today and Very emotoinal! Right now I just want to go to sleep to take my mind off of things.. The A/C is frozen so that's making things worse too.. It's to freakin hot for this to happen!

I don't know if I'll take a break.. I may be better after I lay down.. I don't know.. I may only lurk a few days.. or may try to distance my self from APA for a few days to try and take my mind off this..

Thanks Kimmmie & Carol for all your support.. I am feeling a little bit better tonight.. I took three naps today...lol.. Just been really emotional and don't really know why.. guess it's the hormones. I've also been really tired.. But I'm guessing that's due to the fact I'm in my 2ww and all those hormones.. plus the hypo-thyroid.. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get my energy back.. once my thyroid is under control.

The last few days.. I've been having this wierd cramping.. either on the right or left side of my abdomen. Which is right about the side of my uterus.. It's sort of like a tugging feeling.. but crampy like.. I don't remember ever having this before... Nothing like AF cramps. My bb's have been really tender the last couple of days.. and well you know my moods..

But..

I took a temp dive way below coverline yesterday.. then came back up above coverline today.. I really thought it was over yesterday.. Now I don't know.. Do you think it's over for me this month or still possible?

I would have to look at the chart and for some odd reason I cannot find it...LOL!! I would have to look at how much the temps went back up...yesterday could have been a fluke. The cramps sound like the corpus luteum is trying to do something in there. I get those too each month. I am haiving them now.

nap sounds sweet!! I have to work on some projects for my writing company though. We just won 2 bids and I have to prepare for the articles to flood in. I could use an ice cream though...LOL!!

DH and I had BD last night.. Well.. Today I still have that feeling in my left side and I'm now spotting two days early.. The pain feels like it's in my ovary/tube area. I've been having that for a few days.. I normally don't cramp with AF until the day of flow.. then it's pretty much just in the area of my uterus. I'm not suppose to get AF until Sat. I'm gonna test in the morning, just to make sure.. Since being on Clomid I've had 34 days cycles like clock work. Not sure what's going on with this..

I am not sure Paula....could be AF creeping up early. A chemical can mess up a cycle . I tend to 'o' a bit later right after and start a bit earlier. That dip was really good and the rise is not indicitive of a wonky temp. If for some reason this is implant then do not test tomorrow. It usually takes 3-4 days to get high enough numbers in urine after implant to test. Let's hope this is implant and your temps continue to rise.

I guess I am IUI bound. all my tests come back great. haven't had DH tested yet, but asked the nurse and she said they can do that pretty much at the time of the IUI. so i hope if he has any issues they will be addressed with the IUI, i've read that they can be as low as a million but prefer to be 20-30 million. I hope this will work, i am done if not..no more drugs. but i will cross that bridge when i get there, which hopefully i won't.

i have been researching stats and it can be as high as 26% with IUI, i have only been producing 2 follies on 50mg clomid, should i ask for more? they say 3 is a better number to have for the procedure.

I have my appt tomorrow to test for cysts and get my next cycle.

CRAP!! i was hoping 3 was the charm.

Sorry Sarah...been so busy these last few days. It is probably your cervix hiding and the vaginal folds reaching down. I have felt it too towards the end of my cycle and other times in between. Good luck with testing in 2 days!!! Hopefully a BFP will be coming to you soon!!!

With all that has happened with the time change etc it is hard to tell if you really ovulated or not. I truly think 100 mg would work better...but I am no doc by any means. Your temps are still in the range so it is possible for sure.

I also saw yellow TMI but dark yellow mucus...

hi there, i have been laying low, trying to plan our next move..we are getting DH SA tomorrow, that will tell us a lot and then make a plan from there..keep going or plan iui. i am on my 4th day of clomid, enjoying the hot flashes, but keeping the mood swings in check, DH said he wanted me OFF the drugs if that kept up. :roll:

Hey Sarah, Sorry.. but the higher dose may be just what you needed. You still need to test the day before or the day that you start the clomid.. I usually test the day before. Some doctors do beta's each month to make sure before starting a new month on clomid. Good Luck!

Carol, The moods can get bad at times.. I guess it helps that most of the time.. My DH is very docile and laid back.. so he doesn't really argue back.. I guess he pretty much lets it go in one ear and out the other.. He know's how I am on clomid.. and well.. I've done 17 cycles now over the years.. So I guess he is use to it.. But.. because of PCOS.. my hormones has been out of wack for years so I would get moody at times anyways..lol.. I just try to stay away from anything or person who will set me off while i'm being moody.. and I just try not to b!tch. Which can be really hard.. LMAO

It gets easier over time.. It also has a lot to do with the pressures that are on us because of the infertility.. So that makes us a little more wacky on Clomid..

Just hang in there and try to stay stress free.. that will help a lot. How many cycles have you done of the clomid now? Are you on your 2nd cycle? Well, I hope all is well with you DH s/a.. My DH has superman swimmers.. :roll: So it's mostly me that is defective.. Well.. I feel defective...lol..

As for me...

Ok.. Well, I'm finally ready to move forward.. I was still having some weird things going on.. So I took another test today.. Well it was another BFN. So.. I'm finally ready to move forward. I hope this is the month that my infertility journey ends. It's been a long and hard road to travel!

So.. here is my regime:

1. I'll take a really good Regular women Multi until "O" then switch to my prenatals. once "O" I'll also add back in the prenatal fish oil

2. B-Complex

3. B-12 ( I got the 250 mcg.. I didn't want to go to high.. do you think this is a good amount or should I be taking more? combined with the others.. it's a total of 271 mcg)

4. B-6 (total Combined is 104 mg)

5. Baby Aspirin (81mg)

6. Colace (200mg)

7. Synthroid (50mcg as of right now)

8. Norvasc (2.5mg .. This is the lowest blood pressure pill you can be on.. I've been running a little bit elevated the last three or four months.. So he started me on these in June... just to help knock it back down)

I went shopping today.. I got my instead cups, my Answer OPK 7 day kit, mucinex (i’ll start this 5 days before “O”) and the extra B12 I mentioned above.

So we have a plan for this month.. Crossing my fingers it works!

I wonder if I should stop any of the supplements during the 2ww or continue them until BFP or longer? I'm talking about the extra B's.

Paula- I just emailed you a bunch of the info we've been taking about....and then I saw your post here.
I wanted to tell you I think it is important to get someone who is trained in kinesiology to muscle test you for the vitamins and supplements! (Look at me being all bossy again :roll: :wink: ). But here's why:
Today at my appt I luckily had all my vitamins and supplements with me and he checked me for every one. The fish oil I tested high for (that means I need it). Anything that was really high in B vitamins I tested really low for (that means I shouldn't take it). The Duet DHA prenatals were fine for me (they do have B's in them).
So I'm not saying that will be the case for you with the B's, but it could be the case for any of the supplements...
The point of it is to only feed your body what it needs, and to find what you are actually lacking (it may be something you never even thought of), so then all systems are working well!! :D


And to all the ladies who will read this... I am referring to a treatment I recently started again (Thank You Gina *livegreen* :D ). It is a natural whole body wellness program....instead of only focusing on "infertility". If anyone is interested, just PM me. I am more than happy to share with everyone :D

Hi all. I was actually came across your post while I was trying to get some info for my sister on blighted ovums. Anyways I became enthralled by your stories. I am a past clomid user and while I do not have time to go into every detail by reading your posts I am wondering if those of you who have PCOS know whether you have the insulin resistant form of PCOS. I have the insulin resistant form and what was found to work best for me to ovualte and conceive was taking clomid along with metformin (glucophage). If anyone would like more info on this I will check back in here later.
