Hello ladies!

I was off the grid for a few days. My SIL's mom passed away and we had to drive to Massachusetts for the funeral. Left Tuesday night...drove till I was tired and then racked out at a hotel. Got to Mass around 1400 Wednesday. We left Mass on Friday AM around 0900 - didn't make it home until 1400 SATURDAY! Friday was a horrible weather/traffic day. A normal 12 hour trip over all took 20+. It was awful. We were trying to get a hotel and everything was booked up - I actually walked out of one bawling I was so tired and stressed! :ohno: Getting home was soooo nice. I napped for a bit and slept like a rock that night!

This week is a quiet week for us. Making a Vet appt for the cat and a Dr's appt for the 2.5 yr old. Gym class for her and that's about it. Next week too. Not too much going on.

I can DEF feel the hard belly! I know they say canteloupe size right now - but with two I DEF have a small watermelon in there  I think I have actually gained 2lbs these past few weeks too...LOL

My main PG issue now is HEARTBURN. The most horrible awful heartburn. I was on presscription meds with Bella...and will be asking for them at my next appt. I am eating tums like a mad woman and don't want to over do it with them - I've read that too much calcium can cause placenta calcification - and I want to have my placents encapsulated!

I have also had a few episodes that were panic attack like. Usually late at night too. Can't sleep - heart is RACING like crazy and I feel all twitchy! I'll be asking about that too.

Checking out strollers - OMG! Holy expensive. I found an amazing one in the UK - I really want it but I am not sure how the shipping would be. Or if they would even ship to me. I may have to have it shipped to one of my Brittish friends and have them ship it here. It's a double stroller/pram and comes with two infant carseats for about $650.00! It also has two infant beds that lay down, a parisol for the sun, bug screen for well...bugs  and a diaper bag that fits to the stroller! I am hemming and hawing over it. Hoping it's still available in a few months when we can afford it...LOL

So how is everyone else this HOT morning!?

Well I have a stupid sinus infection! It's kept me from sleeping last 2 nights. I'm going to pick up Z pak when Sonja wakes from her nap, it's a 5 day course so hopefully by mid-week I'll start to feel better. Tylenol helps a little, and I've been placing the heat pad across my cheek/eye. Feels like I was punched in the cheekbone or like I was chewing taffy in a marathon. I read online that taking a mucinex here and there during PG is okay, but I took one before bed last night and I woke up with a little brown spotting. Not sure if it's associated, but it's the only thing that I did differently yesterday. Hm.

I'm focusing on getting better right now so that takes away from obsessing about the BIG anatomy u/s in 3 weeks. I can't believe it's so close! I'm very anxious to fulfill all nesting avenues but I can't organise anything until I know which bin of clothes to wash. I found some cute yellow blanket sleepers at Marshalls that I almost bought. I got a new purse for myself instead! It's nice to go shopping by myself, but it's a rare occasion.

Sonja went peeps on her baby potty yesterday! First time! I'm so relieved that she is starting to make the connection. I'll be so happy when she's trained in time for me to only have newborn diapers to worry about. What a big girl!

Overall, I'm feeling fine otherwise. Only the occasional spasm from my sciatica, some reflux if I eat too much at once, and uncomfortable sleeping (but maybe that's due to my sinusitis). Still no libido, I might add

Hi everyone :hi:

I'm here, nursing a broken, infected molar. I think I'd rather have labor pains than this! My cheek is red and swollen, and there's nothing that takes the pain away for any length of time. My dentist appt is for 11:30 tomorrow.

Other than that, not getting much done other than going to work (where I have to smile and talk, btw). Gotta get a new copy of DS's birth cert so I can enroll him in school here, since we seem to have left ours in MI. No drs appts this week, but I have 2 next monday--OB & endocrinologist. Morning/all day sickness is almost gone, but still having reflux and still exhausted. No libido here either, but gave in to keep DF from feeling neglected

Been looking at baby gear too...i never knew there were so many kinds of cloth diapers!! Gonna have to sew some curtains soon too, there's way too much heat coming through the family room window...maybe that will get me in a creative mood...

Libido isn't much of an issue with the hubby being gone a week at a time here lately. I'm happy to see him when he gets home :winks: We've been in the same house at the same time for all of 15 hours since last Monday - and that included 1 night and a much needed 2 hour nap Sunday afternoon before he had to leave again.

Not a lot on the calendar for me this week. Ryan has a big golf tournament at a local club later this week, so we have some snobby country club stuff to go to in the evenings. I have to find a semi-formal dress for Wednesday night - so I need to decide if I am going to flaunt my bump or wear something to disguise it... the whole thing just isn't my cup of tea, but I will be supportive :) The boys don't have anythign going on until Saturday, then just swimming class.

Finally announced to my team at work, everyone was shocked. It's been great to wear regular shirts again and not feel like I'm in hiding!

Haven't started much else yet. Nausea is better, but still hanging around and still tired. Hoping it gets better soon so I have some motivation!
