How far along were you before you were able to get a heart rate in a Doppler?

my dr won't even try to find hb with a dopplar till after 10-12 wks.
i don't own one so i have no first hand experience.

10 weeks for DS and 9.5 weeks for this LO. But I am on the thinner side, which helps. Both times I was warned by my ob that sometimes you cannot hear hb via doppler until 12 weeks so not to be disappointed or concerned if we don't find it.

Depended on the skill of my dr, went to see a specialist and she could at a little over 8 weeks, my dr couldnt till around 11

My dr first heard it at 10 weeks. I had rented one when I was pregnant with my DS and heard it at 9 weeks but it took a while!

My doctor heard it at 10. I borrowed one around 11-12 weeks, and it took some hunting around but I was able to find the heartbeat too. It's very low in your pelvis that early on.

As early as 9wks and as late as 15wks with my pgs but usually between 10 and 12wks :).
