I am between 5-6 weeks pregnant. With my daughter, morning sickness didn't kick in until after 6 weeks. I was feeling great (had some bouts of nausea but they for the most part stopped several days ago). Last night, we ordered pizza and got wings also. I was the only one who ate the wings. All of a sudden at midnight, I woke up, and without enough time to even make it to the toilet, I threw up everything I ate. Then I threw up every hour (this isn't just a little gag and spit up-I'm talking hardcore threw up). Here it is the morning, and I just threw up again. I think it was something like 6-7 times from midnight to 9am. :shocker:

Is that possibly morning sickness? I never got it that bad with Caitlin. I am leaning towards some kind of food poisening or possibly even a stomach flu...what are your guys' experiences? There is no way I can make it through a couple of months like this...so I will need to go to the doctor asap and get some nausea medicine if this is morning sickness.

Now I cannot keep down water or any food. My husband went to get saltines and ice for me to chew on and hope that helps. Advice? I had to miss work today because there was no way I could handle it. :ohno:

Honestly it sounds like it was probably the wings. I hope you feel better!

Possibly food poisoning.

I did have morning sickness start at 4-5 weeks with Elliott though.

I had a similar experience last weekend - ate some tex-mex Saturday, felt AWFUL all day, all day Sunday (had it out the other end, sorry for tmi), threw up Sunday night, and recovered slightly Monday. I thought it was possibly morning sickness and told DH to "unpregnate me" I felt so terrible (I was joking of course!!!).

I felt 100% Tuesday. I either had a bug or reaction to the food. I think yours sounds the same...let's hope! BTW I am a little over 7 weeks today.

I would say food poisoning/stomach flu (you get both the same way except the first is bacterial and the second in viral). I don't think that pregnancy related vomiting is usually violent like what you described.

Norovirus is going around all over the country. I hope it's just a bug or food poisoning!

hey ladies, thank you for your thoughts, I am feeling great today! It turns out it was one of those 24 hour things and I woke up a day later and felt back to myself again. :hooray:
