So I have a nagging cough and I really can't take anything for it at this point. So I told my DH to get me some tea at the grocery to at least soothe my throat a little. I love him to death and he was thinking about my issue and not so much my pregnancy or maybe I'm just overly cautious. He got me Celestial Seasonings Honey Vanilla Chamomile and Sleepytime Throat Tamer. Both are caffeine free however both are herbal. Is it safe for me to drink these? If so should i limit them? Here is the ingredients

Honey Vanilla Chamomile - Chamomile, orange peel, honey , soy lecithin, licorice, roasted chicory and lemongrass

Sleeptime Throat Tamer - Chamomile, Licorice, Ginger, Tilia Estrella and slippery Elm. Spearmint, lemongrass and soy lcithin.

The throat tamer does have a disclamier that you should consult your physician before consuming.

Thanks in advance.

I've been told to stay away from herbal teas and just stick with black tea if I needed tea. Every doctor is going to be different about how cautious they are or want you to be.

I read somewhere that chamomille is a no-no for pregnancy...
