HCG levels and heartbeat

I know I've seen it on here before, but what does the level typically need to be at to see the heartbeat?

I'm not sure. I know with both my children it was completely different. With my son my numbers climbed slowly but we saw a heartbeat at 5w5d. With my daughter my numbers jumped tremendously in the begining but we didn't see a heartbeat until after 6 weeks.

I believe they use 10K as a general rule of thumb. :)

I saw a HB at 6wks 2dys, I don't remember what my levels were though :)

I just remembered that my levels with Elliott were just over 11k, but the ultrasound that same day didn't show a fetal pole or heartbeat yet. 4/5 days later my levels were 40k+ and 2 days after that I saw and heard the heartbeat. I guess it just depends. Here is to hoping!

So the day of the ultrasound I was 6weeks 2days and my HCG at 6weeks 1day was over 34000
