spotting questions

i am in the second trimester and for the second time now i have spotted immediately after dtd.
is this normal?
should i call the dr?
or wait till next appt? (next appt is jan 13)
trying not to worry too much about it as its only a bit of pink when cleaning up after dtd... not even pink an hour later when i pee again.... ideas? is it the position? or should we quit dtd?

I think it's pretty normal it happens to a lot of ladies. If u have bright red and cramps then I say call the doctor.

I get a spot of RED blood after DTD every time - but only the amount of a pin head mixed in with the slime (Currently 16.5 weeks). I went in freaked out and it turned out to be a polyp. Won't hurt the baby, won't hurt me. Since it happens only after DTD, my best guess is you and baby are both fine. If it has you seriously concerned, see if the dr. will add a pelvic exam to your next appt (warn them so they can build the time in for it!) though my dr. warned me, most of the time they don't ever figure out what the bleeding is from. She said the only time it really becomes a concern is if it is enough to need a pad. So if it is just when wiping, again, my best guess is you are just fine. This was just last week for me :)
