I was just curious how many of you had ultrasounds that were incorrect. My tech spent 40 min with us and couldn't get the baby to open its legs then she did a butt shot and showed us two lines and said it was a girl. I was 18 weeks and never had that happen. My other two flashed us right away. Just curious.

There is a mommy in Oct 11 birth rooms. She was told girl and she had a boy.

I had an u/s at 18 weeks and the tech said she was 99% sure it was a girl, I was stressing so bad though because she kept saying I think your having a girl. I had another u/s done at 32ish weeks and it showed girl. DS there was no question he was a little boy.

The baby wasn't cooperative and they couldn't get some of her organs so I'll get a three d us at 26 weeks and hopefully it will be more clear then. Just curious how often it happens.

I've heard of it happening quite often....with my DD they showed me the 3 lines and said they were 99.9% positive it was a girl :) Good luck with your next u/s!

I would probably wait to purchase anything or do much if your unsure. You will hit 26 weeks before long!

I haven't had that happen. My u/s tech will not say either way unless she is absolutely sure..my dr confirmed it for me and said go buy all the pink you want b/c she has never been wrong in 35 years.

Did your u/s say she was sure? I'd wait too just in case..I thought with girls u/s too that it was 3 lines/dots.

With Sonja I went in at 19 weeks and they for sure saw 3 lines, I'd wait to make sure it's confirmed before buying anything pink and frilly! :laugh:

That was the weird part the tech kept saying I see two lines I think it's a girl. I thought it was three lines that said girl. I wouldn't doubt it if the baby wasn't so squished up. She was sitting indian style with her feet under her butt a little. It was extremely hard to see what was going on. I'm gonna just wait it out for the next us cause I don't need to buy any girls clothes anyways

At 16 weeks we did an elective u/s and they told me boy. At 19 weeks it was definitely a girl and was still definitely a girl at 28 weeks when we did the 4D.
