You can at least still try the root beer milk... Stop into any grocery store (I don't think Walmart sells it though) and grab a bottle... Shatto is the brand name..
DH recommends Hy-Vee or Price Chopper..

Probably not gonna test. I tested last month when I was a week late and got a BFN. I honestly don't think I am pregnant. I don't *feel* pregnant anyways. I'll wait till the end of the month, cause I don't have the funds to buy a test anyways. I think I just skipped a month.

I confess . . . technically I'm getting more sleep, but I feel much less rested this week because of freaky arse disburbing dreams. They're not really nightmares (I'm not being chased, or fear for my life), but just some completely weird ****e that is totally disturbing. What is wrong with me that I'm dreaming like this? Sunday night, Monday night, and last night were horrible. Tuesday morning I woke up at 4 am crying because I was so upset, and this morning after Tred's alarm went off, I cuddled up to him and just sobbed . . . images from my dream still stuck in my head.:pace:

I feel really terrible (I confess)
I was at the new house with Josh and my MIL was there too. Josh and I were getting ready to go home and so was she. Josh said "I don't want you" to me :( He wanted to go with MIL. So she took him which is nice because I can get some stuff done at the new house and then relax and do laundry at the apartment. But I feel like he doesn't like me lately. I've been a little stressed lately. It's been deathly hot here and we're trying to move in and I just haven't had much time for him. I feel so bad. But whenever I do try to interact with him he doesn't want to cooperate. All I hear is "no" or "I don't have to" or "It's okay mommy I don't want to" and I feel so frustrated that this kid is being so condescending towards his own mother LOL He's been doing weird out of character behavior lately and it scares me sometimes and I don't know if it's a normal phase or if something is wrong. He shakes his head a lot and pants and I think he's just acting like a dog but other times I think something is wrong with him.,..Aggghh

:hugs: I'd try not to worry for now, I can't think of anything "wrong" that would cause a kiddo to not like/want their mom but be ok with everyone else. Maybe he is just in that "I can do it myself" phase? Everyone I know with kids has gone through the anti-mommy phase, sadly :(

Oh I don't mean the anti-mommy behavior. I know that's normal unfortunately. Things like shaking his head and singing the same line from something over and over (I can't even understand what he's saying sometimes but it's the same thing repeatedly), or screeching repeatedly, stuff like that scares me because he's not usually wild like that. But I just hope it's the age, or the whole moving process making him act out.

Ahhhhhh. I know other moms on here have had very similar concerns especially with stuff like head shaking, arm flapping, repeated sounds/words but honestly, in the majority of the cases it turns out to just be a weird phase. Though I can't imagine how hard it must be to see your child acting "different" and not be able to do anything about it :hugs:

I confess Josh wanted me to stay with him tonight when he went to bed, and I did for a while, because he rarely wants to snuggle with me anymore. He wrapped both arms around my head and held me like that for a long time. And I cried. I miss when he was a little baby and all he wanted to do was lay on me.

I confess . . . I was freaky-dream free last night.
I confess . . . I choose to believe that it's because I moved my dreamcatcher back over my bed. It was over the dresser from when the bed was against that wall and I'd just never moved it. I still just dozed between about 5-7 am, but my sleep up to that point was much better.

I hardly ever dream, but last night I had one worthy of an action movie! I had to go rescue dh who was in the middle of working on some doomsday device, on my motorcycle, with a submachine gun. It was awesome and scary. I was so confused when I woke up that I had to double-check to make sure I turned off my alarm.
And Yay WillOwispy for the fun pregnancy dreams. Those are great.
I confess I'm finally back to work, after being off since May 29th. I started a few days ago and am still not caught up on all the gossip. But I have to leave and clock in now! Dh said I'd been off work so long he thought I'd decided to retire.

I am doing my 3 hour glucose test, and am SO thankful the hospital has free wi-fi, and I remembered to bring my laptop, or I would seriously be going CRAZY right now..

I didn't really announce that I failed the 1 hour.. In all reality, I didn't fail... but my numbers were elevated enough that my dr wanted me to do the 3 hour just to be safe (especially since I was so borderline with Audri)
Im at TMC Lakewood... and this is where I'll be delivering too.. unless something unexpected happens.
I'm really happy with my doctor. He's kinda helping me plan a VBAC even though "this hospital doesn't do them" - "Because I didn't have an ultrasound til 27 weeks they can't trust the dating so they'll just have to let me go into labor"

She has no fear, doesn't feel pain very much, and loves thrills. Last night she was on our desk chair, standing up, not holding onto anything, and having Ronin spin her in circles. DH was just telling me he thought she might end up doing a lot of drugs in high school because of her risk-taking behaviors and love of wild sensations. :silly: It was easy to take that picture because she kept climbing up the stairs and leaping off, over and over.

I confess I feel like this house still isn't actually ours. We've had so many people trampling in and out, lots of problems and snags, etc. It's very frustrating but it will be great when everyone is gone and we can relax. I confess I haven't been sleeping well here though, and I hear strange things and I feel like strange things happen here. Like this morning I know I turned the computer on. I walked away and came back and it was off. Stuff like that could either be creepy or just me being a flake. LOL
Edit to add: Just now I opened windows in the living room and came back and half of them were shut....which would have been creepy if I had not caught my son in the act of shutting another one...

I confess this is sort of a rant--
I confess I want these workers out of my house--the electrician is such a douche and his assistants are unreliable so he has been bringing his 15 year old son to help him. Our carpenter brings his 17 year old son. The carpenter is sort of a friend of the family and he's been giving us good deals on his work and he does a nice job but I feel weird having kids help these guys out.
Plus none of them show up on time. I have to sit around waiting for them so I can let them into the house. It's almost noon and nobody is here yet. I need to go to Target and grocery shopping and the bookstore. I'm wasting a whole day of not having Josh here so I could get things done faster and I don't have much I can do at the house. Augh!

Oh, this brings back memories of when we moved in our house!!! I soooo dislike the timeframes of contractors. I always say they are on CP time. In case you never heard of CPT (colored people time) it is a joke with black folks who are always late or start events late, which happens a WHOLE lot. I'm probably one of the only people I know who isn't always on CPT. But I changed it for the sake of our electrician and other contractors to be Contractor People Time. I don't know what sort of skills your DH has or what field he'd be interested in, but I have a friend who is in the Air National Guard and not only did it basically save his life but he now works for them full-time with great salary/benefits, and will make x2 his salary once he "retires" from the military and continues working his job as a civilian. He was deployed to Iraq for a few months but due to the nature of his job he never once left the base, saw no combat, and actually complains that it was "too safe and boring"

My friend, like I said, is now Air National Guard, and is repairs missile guidance systems in fighter planes. He was 100% trained for this by the Guard, no previous knowledge (I think he went to college for a semester or two but not enough for it to affect what path he chose).
I will be wishing your DH tons of luck no matter what he decides. I just wanted to put the story out there, since the Guard has done so much good for my friend and he is genuinely happy and financially successful now :)

I confess that I logged on at work just to say how DISGUSTED I am with my sister and mother right now but then people started walking around too much so I said screw this I'm going home to post it.
I confess there's a big time vent coming your way:
My sister sent me a text while I was at work and here was the conversation
Her - "Congratulations and prayers for a quick and uneventful nine months...ending with a healthy baby BOY!"
Me - "Why a BOY?" (knowing dam good and well why she said that)
Her - "Because mom told me the girl name :-/" (Girl name being Denaysia June and I'm irritated at this point)
Me - "Whatever. It has been that name for a long time now and if we have a girl I will be sure and tell her how much her family hates her name."
Her - "Cuz we know we're white. I talked mom out of naming you a f***ered up name and I'm just trying to do the same for my niece" (I'm pretty pissed off and furious now)
Me - "Okay well you can tell her she has a black, non white name then because I certainly won't!"
OMG WTF!?!?!?!?! I am sooooooooooo mad at them I could eat their heads right about now. I wanted to tell her "White? More like redneck" but I refrained. I should just be over it by now because they have given me grief about this name for quite a few years at the very least. But, I could SO see them saying something to her about her "black name" when she gets older. And she acts like my mom JUST told her the name??? She has known the name!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid! It really needs to end because it pisses me off to no end and it's not going to change what I name my daughter.
That's it, this is getting posted in the venting section too! :hot:

That really bites, Janeen. I have found that no matter what the name is, people will say things about it before the baby is born. If you don't tell them until afterward, then they tend to be more quiet, because there's no changing it at that point. I hope your sister and your mom can hold their tongues in the future, particularly around your child. If not, hopefully they won't be around too much. I would be really upset in your shoes.

Thankfully, they are smart enough to not DARE say anything since I announce my pregnancy or they know they won't ever meet the baby.
I am so sorry that you're dealing with this. I hope that you can somehow make your point very clear so that they either accept the name Denaysia or get the heck out of her life. :hugs:

The funny thing is, THIS sister didn't have an issue with me dating a black man right before I met DH. My other sister on the other hand said my father would be rolling over in his grave had he not been cremated. And the sister who said that, hasn't said a word about the name. Ashley, my DH joined the National Guard after he lost his job. He is also ex-army, and it was something he has been wanting to do for a long time. He loves doing it. It is not bringing in full time money, but he did get a sign-on bonus that really helped us out while I was off work this summer. He is looking at ways to get on with them full time, but it may take a few months.
Janeen, I am SOOOO sorry. My grandmother actually got mad at my father for naming me Amanda because she thought it was a "black" name (huh?) and my father is still bitter about that. He's been telling me I could name my kids whatever I want for at least 25 years now.

And Janeen I like the name Denaysia, don't know if it's because I'm black or not though lol. But on a side note, I always got teased because I have a "white" name, both my brother and I, who's name is Adrian. We also talked "white" so I guess we are white with some wicked tans and extra curly hair!
Erin
OK, being honest here - I think Denaysia does sound "black", but you know what? It's not my baby! Parents get exclusive naming rights and all other people should just keep their mouths shut! I still get pissed off at an aunt and uncle that tell me my son sounds like a law firm name (Liam Thomas Connor Y.) Whatever. I'd tell your sister that if she insists on being negative about her niece's name, she can do so from afar cause she won't be seeing her in person much. :pokey:
Why yes, yes it does actually!
It appears that they didn't test for progesterone this time though. I emailed her back asking about it because it was only 7.8 on Monday.
Just from personal experience, I think that's low. When I miscarried my first my prog was only 8, and doc was rather concerned. For the next 2-3 cycles she was testing my prog level at 7 DPO and they were always low. I often wonder if my failure to make enough of it had anything to do with my miscarriage. I was on progesterone supplements with Liam for the first 10-12 weeks or so.

It was a black girl in school who had the name, my point is...wtf does it matter? lol, I think it's pretty whether it's a white or black girl being named it.
Miscarriage is why I'm concerned about the progesterone. I know if it's too low, it leads to miscarriage. I find myself wondering if progesterone suppositories would do any good at this stage. When the doc emails me to give me his run down of the results I will probably ask him.

Yeah, I didn't want to scare you or anything, but too low prog can cause a m/c. Thankfully I didn't have to do suppositories - mine were yellow capsules taken orally. Although I've done suppositories in the past (when you're so nauseous with a migraine, sometimes it's the best way to get compazine into your system), doing them daily for weeks would get old.

I just might. I was thinking of something that reminds me of my childhood and I'm all about recreating my childhood these days...I dunno why...but I find myself decorating the home in styles that remind me of my childhood homes and sort of regressing to that time, spending more time outdoors in places that remind me of being a kid.

Forgive the sketchy summary but it was something along the lines of:
Elmobo apparently always thought my original username was WillowSpy and in a confessions post she referred to me as that. And we all had a good laugh, and everyone said that WillowSpy was a cool name. And I think it was Lydia who called me Ms. Spy for a few days. Elle whines/grunts/screams after every single bite if I don't shovel like a mad woman when I'm feeding her. She doesn't do it if she feeds herself and most of the time. I confess I don't feel like hearing the noise so I just dump food in front of her and let her go at it and let the dog eat up her mess. I know that sounds gross but I was pretty happy when I discovered he would eat her leftovers so I wouldn't have to try to sweep up chunky oatmeal off the floor, a quick wipe with the wet mop after all the licking and that was that!

Seriously Erin, isn't it great? I almost never clean the floor under the highchair as my handy dandy Model K-9 vacuum cleaner both sweeps and mops for me! She'd clean the baby off too, if I let her. Every kid should have a dog. Tredhed found an article in the magazine Wonder Time shortly after we got pregnant. It had like 5 reasons why little kids should have a dog - awesome article.
I confess that I'm really anxious/uncomfortable with a baby shower I'm going to on Saturday. It's being thrown by the "queen bees" and I have a bad feeling it will be all about alcohol and gossiping, and not about my friend who is the one being "showered".
I confess that irritates me to no end, and I don't even know the people. There was a lot of unnecessary drama around my own baby shower and I have to admit it has rather tainted it. It should be an occasion to remember and instead there are aspects of mine that I would really just rather forget.
I would hope the Queen Bees are smart enough to offer something non-alcoholic at the shower - both for the Momma of the hour and any pregnant guests (LIKE YOU!!!). I went to a wonderful wine & cheese baby shower when I was pregnant and the host (who was also pregnant) offered a huge variety of sparkling ciders. No exaggeration, 3 pregnant women finished off more bottles of sparkling cider than about 11 NOT pregnant women did wine.
All I can say is keep an eye out for your friend and offer her support as needed. Even if you hang out and talk about your bellies and babies. Do what you can to make it special for her, ya know?

Good call, I will. I feel bad for assuming the worst of this particular clique of women, but on the other hand that's the only side they've ever shown in the two months I've lived here. I'm so sorry your own baby shower descended into the drama pit :( I am probably not having one, and honestly, I am all the happier for that thought.

Thank you for the luck, Lydia! I am back, with a full report :) (it's really not that interesting, so feel free to skip LOL).
THANKFULLY, the location apparently got changed from one of the Queen Bee's houses to another office lady's house... and she's pregnant with kiddo #3 so she put the kibosh on alcohol, etc. It was a very weird baby shower. The mom-to-be, her sisters, MIL, and a few of us "regular girls" all hung out in the living room and had a good time. The queen bees spent the whole party in the kitchen, drinking and laughing really loud, which was sort of awkward because they were the ones "organizing". They came into the living room to run the games portion, and that was the worst part of the party because a lot of the games (and their comments) seemed a little demeaning to the mom-to-be. I'm glad I went though, because like Sunrider said, my friend need me. And she loved my little breastfeeding gift bag!
Hope everyone's weekends are going well!

And, I confess I joined a new gym today. It's a lot more expensive than my old one but they have a lot more to offer. I've been to the weight loss room for support but it's kind of quiet. Can you guys help me? I'm about 20 lbs. overweight and I've been asking about 6 times over the last year if I'm pregnant (or not really asked, most times, but just congratulated, without asking) So can you guys like, get on my case? I need help.

ClarisseMarie (Her name is Heather)'s little girl -- She's one of the Oct DD ladies
I confess Audrianna was just playing with DH's box of cheezits and I didn't realize it was open, as she was shaking it all over the place. She dumped a good 2 handfuls of crackers all over DH's side of the bed..
I confess I am letting her eat them, and am contemplating just leaving whatever she doesn't eat.. lol

DO IT!!! Sometimes people won't ever be exposed if someone doesn't get the ball rolling...
....PM? Pretty please???
I confess I'm curious how Janeen's peaches went-did you and your DH get them canned?
I think they are being delivered to my work tomorrow. We ordered them from a rotary fundraiser.

I confess that Denver is getting their asses handed to them by Chicago.
I confess it must be a little awkward for ole Jay Cutler.

I confess that if you people with the green dots by your name don't start confessing (in other words, talking to me) you're going to be stuck with a play by play of this lame football game.

I confess I wish I could go back to walking around naked all the time.
I confess when the girls stay at my mom's for the night, the first thing to happen is all the clothes come off!
I confess since being with DH we've always slept naked, and did even up until about a year and a half ago, but now elmobo's too big. :ohno:
I confess I think clothes in your own home should be against the law!

Janeen, I'm bad, I only watch college football (for OSU) and only watch pro when it gets to the finals, unless someone's in it that I like!

I confess I have dried 10 pounds of nectarines and another 10 pounds of nectarine leather since yesterday. I also confess I have yet to spell "nectarine" correctly the first time. Seriously. Every time I type it I have to erase and redo because it comes out "nectRaine" :eyeroll:

I don't really watch any of it but Jimi is at the game tonight so I'm half assed watching it.

I confess Audrianna tripped and fell. I thought she was going to smack her face on the corner of the banister by the stairs.. instead she faceplanted on the wooden floor..
She busted her lip open, and was bleeding all over the place. I was so scared I was crying... and DH wasn't here.. so Im making him feel bad!

Or at least completely optional without anyone frowning down on you because of it!
I confess I slept naked on Friday night with S in my bed. She's delightful to sleep with. More delightful to sleep naked next to than John-he can't keep his hands to himself :pokey:

I confess that I am really craving a cigarette but have refrained from buying any.
I confess that I just keep telling myself "Move on, there's a baby in you. The thoughts and cravings will pass. DO, NOT, BUY, SMOKES."

LOL true, true! I'm always being groped at night, clothes on or off, so it really doesn't matter either way. He's a grope-sleeper. And he talks and kisses in his sleep too, so yeah, sometimes he gets punched.

Janeen, you can do it!!! Seriously, you can! I was always a smoker! I quit cold turkey all four times I got pregnant. I know it's not easy, but it sure can be done! Just remember, that baby's inhaling too. Well, I don't really know if that's the truth, but picture it, down in the pit of your womb is a baby sucking on a cigarette! LOL Ok. that was way dramatic and probably not even close to the truth!
But in all seriousness, you can do it!!! I have total faith!

Totally know the nighttime groping. For me it's worse when I'm naked-it's like some subliminal switch is flipped in Jack's head and he goes all caveman in the bed in his sleep. At least Scharae is indiscriminate and titty-twists the same no matter what I'm wearing-or not wearing. OUCH!
