I confess I've never been to a drive through movie. I think the only one here shut down.
I confess that I just finished my test and well, we'll see how it turns out. I feel more confident about this one post-test than I did the last test, but that probably means I am SO wrong and bombed it.
I confess that once again everyone in the class feels certain that they failed. We shall see!
I confess that I'm now in lab waiting for the teacher to get here.
I confess here he comes, tootles! :P

I confess I'm really worried about this history class I'm taking. It's so much work and I just can't keep up.
Awww :( Is it the reading or the essays? I wish I could help, but toward the end of school I had issues keeping up to and I didn't even have kids.

I confess that I am so sad for my mommy right now. She called me this morning and left a message telling me "we need to talk". Uh oh, I was absolutely terrified that she was going to tell that the cancer was back and I immediately started panicking and crying wondering how in the hell I was going to handle this phone call.
I confess I calmed down after about 20 minutes and called her. She informed me that her and her fiance are splitting up. Man! I tried not to cry but I feel SO bad for her and it makes me SO sad. They have been together for 11 years. She was married to my dad for 31 years before he passed away in 95. She met Don a few years later. They had their ups and downs as they had a long distance relationship for the first half of their relationship. He would pull some crap from time to time and break it off, then everything would be ok...it was like he was a hormonal woman. But the second half of the relationship was great and they were planning on selling his condo (that my mom moved into) in Southern California and moving to Flagstaff together.
This last week he went to visit his mom and when he came home he just told her they had "irreconcilable differences", he was selling the condo, moving in with his mom and she needed to figure out something to do.
My poor mommy! She has been in a hotel last night, will be in a hotel tonight and then my brother who lives in Flagstaff is going down there and renting a truck to take her home with him. She told me as she was getting her stuff out of the condo this morning "I just never thought my life would be reduced to this." She never saw it coming and he never hinted at any problems in the last hmm 5-6 years? :ohno:
Sorry this is so long, I am just in shock. I claimed this guy as my stepdad and even did the father/daughter dance with him at my wedding. We danced to Sending Me Angels by Delbert McClinton, one of my dads favoritist singers and it was so appropriate as I was so happy my mommy had Don. Ugh!

I confess that part of me wants to call him and see if he will inform me of what his issues were and where it all went wrong. I won't but I kind of want to. I also want to thank him (again) for being there for her and taking care of her while she battled cancer and let him know that because of that, I will never forget him and will always have a place in my heart for him.

If it will help you heal, maybe you should? If you are both discreet, you mom never has to know that you were "consorting with the enemy", you know? And the 2nd part of that was really sweet. No matter what happened now, you're totally right, being there for someone with cancer is a huge deal.

Do any of you *almost* post stuff, but then just get tired/shy/lazy and never get around to it? I have so many of these lately. I was going to start a thread about trying to wean in BF and sleep woes in AP and a couple of bragging threads in NM or wherever...and then I just don't. What's up with me?
And what is UP with the drama? I know I'm missing 90% of it - but people seem to be dropping like flies over weird stuff - or it seems weird to me, since I'm really not up on my APA-drama. Can someone fill me in? (by pm, I guess, if its bad enough to make people leave).

Yes, that Nicole. But we should probably stop talking about it, cause its sorta against the rules. Or, not even sorta. But I can't help but wonder what happened. The last semi-drama I saw didn't seem like something that would prompt the person that has been around apa longer than anyone else to leave. And mommabear has disappeared too, and I don't know why. And I keep hearing about drama elsewhere on the boards, but I haven't seen it myself, so I'm just curious, I guess. And now I'll really stop, and if a mod thinks I've crossed the drama/gossip/etc line, please edit my post.

You're not over the line, Maggie. Nicole requested her account be deleted yesterday. I think everyone is pretty surprised by that because she has been here so long. I don't know that it was any one thing that prompted her to do so, probably more of a long time coming sort of thing.
And from what I've heard, Rachael won't be back. I don't think she got mad or anything, just more of a moving onwards and upwards in her life. I'll definitely miss her and Jamie, too.
And, just so you ladies know...I pretty much  y'all here....I think I lurk more here than I do in the christian room...I just don't join in too often :shame:

I confess I just saw a picture on FB of some blonde I don't know being too friendly with my husband last Saturday... the night he didn't come home.
I confess I really don't want to be a psycho wife and get pissy and paranoid, but I can't help it. :(
I confess I know that if I even hinted that he was being anything more than friendly with her he'd be so offended. He takes loyalty, fidelity and our marriage very seriously.
I confess today is our 4 year anniversary.

He came home at 9:30 in the morning... There is an event every year where he gets together with drum core alumni. He was in drum core for 3 years and loved it. So I knew where he was and (mostly) who he was with. I also know who he stayed with. He just never called me to tell me he was crashing at someone's house so I didn't hear from him till 9am. We worked out, but seeing that picture left a more sour taste in my mouth about that night.

What exactly are they doing in the picture? (not that it matters, but I'm curious)
I confess I am not normally dependent on sweets but DH bought 3 huge slabs of fudge the other day and I cannot stop eating it!
I confess I still cannot get over how smart Josh is...he's watching blue's clues and they are talking about paint and Joe says, we don't have purple paint, what should we do? And Josh said "mix it" :shocker:
I dunno, maybe he has just seen this episode too many times LOL
Thanks ladies. We talked about what happened and he apologized for not calling. Its a trend with him that when he goes out (which isn't often) he doesn't call or answer his phone. Its been a fitght for years. This is the second time this has happened. The first time was when I was 3 days away from having Aidan. :eyeroll: So I thought he had learned his lesson. I thought we were good but seeing that picture made the psycho in me start surfacing. :ohno:

Just because you are fabulous, loving, caring, smart, and attractive doesn't mean diddly when it comes to men being stupid (not that I'm saying your DH did anything). Then he said he'd be back in a few hours, which to him apparently meant "I'll be gone all day." Then he sent me a picture of him posing with a topless woman with gigantic boobs. Buffalo Chicken Dip
2-3 chicken breasts - cooked and shredded
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup ranch dressing
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Cook the chicken until done - shred. Put everything into the crockpot on low for about 2 hours. Stir. Serve with tortilla chips!
Its super easy, and SUPER yummy! and you can make it as spicy as you want depending on what kind of wing sauce you use!!!

I confess... where is Lydia?
I already posted this in NM and also Moms of Multiples, but I thought I'd post here too because you guys are my peeps. It was so much better than I expected (big sigh of relief).
We went to a teensy island in McGregor Bay in Lake Huron, Northern Ontario. We got back last night at 2 AM. There were two 18-hour travel days (AAAUUUGH!!!!). Yesterday started at 8 AM, with a boat ride and then a car ride and then three plane rides. The island had no electricity, no phone service, and we actually didn't even have lamps in our cabin because they were too close to the bed and Ronin kept poking the mantle on the propane lamp so we couldn't light it.
We had a wonderful time. We spent most of our time roaming around the island, looking for blueberries. Claire got really good at picking the ripe blueberries, although Ronin was a little indiscriminate and ate green ones too. We went for some canoe rides, which is REALLY difficult with two rowdy babies. I managed to cook dinner for 8 people a few different nights on an antique gas stove. The babies spent time with their great-grandparents. Nobody got sick or fell in the water (more than to knee-length, at least). We got a lot of mosquito bites. The twins LOVED it. They even did really well on the travel days, except during the last three hours of the flights both ways. Better than on our 3 1/2 hour trip to Wyoming last month. Still, it's not something I'll undertake again lightly.
On our way back last night someone became ill on the plane and I was the only person on board with any medical background so I had to tend to the passenger for a while. I felt torn, leaving my babies but feeling like I was the only person who could help this guy who was in distress. I had them keep him on oxygen and have EMT meet the plane in San Francisco, but was glad I didn't have to divert the plane. DH was proud of me, and thought it gave us more wiggle room in case the babies were unruly.
Except for the actual travel days, however, we kept talking about what a great experience it was and how we might like to make it a regular occurrence. On the other hand, we could have gone to Thailand faster and for less money.
Here is some picture overload.

Welcome back, Lydia! I'm so glad to hear that it went better than expected :) And how cool that you were the medical superhero on the plane! You know, it's a little freaky how much some of the people in that last picture look like you.
This is the second time in my life I've had to do that. One time, I was stuck in the bathroom of a plane with a guy on a toilet who was really really ill for about three hours, with a doctor, a lot of blood, and a couple of oxygen tanks. We almost turned the plane around. We fill out all these forms at the end with our names, addresses, license numbers, and everything that we do, etc. and frankly I was a little surprised that I never heard anything afterward from the airline, not even a little thank-you letter. Because it is very expensive to turn a plane around, and we salvaged the patient AND the flight for them.
I was worried that this situation would end up taking up a lot of my time too, but luckily it didn't. For my sake, the babies' sake, and most of all for the patient's sake.
And yes in the picture, there are a lot of similarities between us, aren't there? I look most like my aunt, I think, always have. We have a picture of us together where we look almost like twins. I assume I look least like my grandfather.

I confess I got signed off by my specialist and was supposed to get cleared by employee health yesterday and start back to work today after being off since May 29th. And then I almost passed out at my employee health appt. when they insisted I couldn't sit down to fill out the forms and I kept telling them I needed to sit down and I almost collapsed. So the doctor refused to clear me to return to work until my dizziness and irregular heartbeat were evaluated. I went to my primary doctor on the way home, and she set me up to see an ENT (to rule out inner ear problems) and to have my heart checked out. So I'm off work until next week.
And I confess dh and I both knew our babies' birthday was coming up soon, but didn't realize it was this coming Sunday. My mom had to remind us. We didn't have anything planned, and my mom wants me to have a dinner party.

I confess I don't know what my dad said to MIL while he was here, but whatever it was - it was a load of BS.
MIL is under the impression that ALL DH and I do all day is RELAX around the house, and that my parents must have given us a wad of cash before they left in order for us to be able to do that, and just go "gallivanting" around the city whenever we want....
DH and I job search all day - Im usually on APA as well, but I am looking for jobs at the same time... and we have been going and going since last friday with Audrianna's birthday stuff... then this week we had to go to sMIL's pre-op appointment, my ultrasound, and Audrianna's dr. appointment. This afternoon DH has a meeting with his Job Counselor.
I confess I am SICK and TIRED of them making it seem like we aren't trying to find a job... and that no one recognizes the driver job DH got because it hasn't started yet....

I've been an insomniac for my entire adult life. The only thing that's been a 100% cure is, surprisingly, pregnancy.
I have gotten up and cleaned the kitchen before, or watched TV or play Wii.
Not doing tylenol PM/unisom as the ingredients CAN affect milk supply and I've worked to hard to keep producing for my little man. I have taken Hyland's Calm Forte - and find that if I take 3 at a time it does help. But the last time I did that (Tuesday night?) Liam was up and restless for almost 2 hours. I took 2 of them last night about 3:30 after nursing, but it was an hour before I got to sleep. Milk should only be consumed warm if it has chocolate in it - otherwise it must be VERY cold (sometimes with icecubes). :winks:
ETA: Months ago I tried camomile tea, with no noticable affect.
And I never got to experience the perpetual napping that is pregnancy. I had a horrid cold with coughing from 2-4 months and that's when PSD kicked in with a vengence and it was hard to sleep anywhere.

Ahhh, yea, good call on the Unisom/supply issue... How is something like Valerian on supply? I wonder if it would pass through you milk to Liam. Probably... :( Man, this is a toughie. Chamomile does work for me, but only sporadically. I'm just trying to pin down how many people will be coming to this purported dinner party, to see if I can host it here or if I'll have to move it to my mom's house. Then I'll be able to make more plans.

------------
I confess I have been thinking about having another baby, despite the fact that dh & I essentially decided we wouldn't have any more. I've been looking at cute babies and feeling wistful. I've been asking C & R if they want a baby to play with. I'm actually trying to decide if I want to restart my birth control pills this week.
Dh is on the same side of the fence as I am, that is, we both felt like it would probably be a good idea to stop for practical reasons but we both like children (especially our children) and can't stop imagining what another one would be like.
And this would take some definite planning because obviously I'm not in the best health right now and I'm taking meds that are not compatible, so it would be at least several months before I could conceive of conceiving.
It's so tempting to start temping, though.

It depends on what type of format you are suppose to use APA or MLA or the other that I forget the name of. I used http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/557/01/ for my MLA papers in college when I didn't have my MLA book handy and http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ when I had to write papers for other departments that used APA. I did a few powerpoint presentations and used both formatting types for my references at the end of the presentation.

Aww I totally didn't see this! Erin hit it spot on. If you teacher didn't tell you guys the method he/she wants for the citations, then I guess you can do whatever you want? The high school I taught at made MLA the standard because they failed to understand that the sciences need citations too

Ashley, if at any time you sat in the grass or on a log or stump - they're chiggers. (They don't fly, so you pretty much have to put yourself in contact with them).
They suck. I know, because they think I'm delicious - as do the blood sucking beotches (i.e. mosquitos . . . since only the females suck blood).

The high school I taught at made MLA the standard because they failed to understand that the sciences need citations too
I confess that the first few months of pregnancy are really, really weird. There is a person inside of me who I cannot see or feel. If I don't think about him/her, I basically forget. That's sort of creepy to me. I wish I could fast forward time to like, the 18th week when I can at least know they are there.
oops yeah she said MLA...ahhh this is still all so crazy to me about how much I forgot since school :shame:

I confess I'm a tiny bit jealous of you Agatha. We're not having another so I won't get to experience it again. I really only missed one part - feeling him move around inside me. That was the most wonderful feeling in the whole world.
I wish you all the joys of pregnancy and hope you have none of the problems I did. :winks:
Do you blog or keep a journal? I wish I had started blogging in my pregnancy so that I could have recorded the little details and things that happened.
I should probably journal this pregnancy... good idea :) I cannot imagine just having one (then again, I am pregnant and still cannot imagine being pregnant...) :hugs:
oops yeah she said MLA...ahhh this is still all so crazy to me about how much I forgot since school :shame:
Just keep asking :) We're all here for ya, girl!

I confess I am Uber proud of you Alisha!!
I confess after telling sMIL about DH's interview she decided to tell us when sBIL goes back to school DH is on full time mowing duty... even if he gets the job!! WTF?! He could be working 56 hours a week... and sBIL will just be going to high school... I think he can handle mowing, even if its put off till weekends!
