I was looking at BF slings and thought this would help since I have 5 other girls to care for. I am a D cup so I think I will just smush her. Does anyone here use a sling if so which one and does it work?

I just got a sling today so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I have used a wrap for the past few weeks. They are wonderful. You can find all sorts of info about how to use them on the Internet. Just google it. That's what I did.
And they aren't just for breastfeeding. They are great to use to carry around your baby while doing house work or going shopping! That's what I use them for. I haven't had a chance to use it for breastfeeding yet. So I'm not much help there.

I have a hot sling from Target but they warn that if you have big boobs, it's difficult to bf in them and they were right. DD nearly suffocated when I tried her in it. I also got a sling rider from BRU. That works great for privacy but it's so big that I have to lift DD up to (and hold her at) the boob while bfing so no hands free.

I got my ling, but I couldn't get ds in there where he was comfortable enough to nurse. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if he just doesn't want to lay down in there. Mine is the Jelly Bean reversible sling. I can definitely see how it would be hard for moms with a big chest, since mine are small and he didn't seam to like being held against it like that.

I love ring slings, like the Maya Wrap. I tried a ring sling that was padded and had trouble adjusting it enough. So I use an unpadded ring sling like a Maya. It's easy to bf in it. Plus, the extra material works great for a privacy screen if needed! I used a Maya type sling from the time my kids were born until around 15/16 months. (My first got too heavy for me at that point at 33lbs. My second was too independant by then and actually wouldn't run off!)
The sling was a lifesaver when baby #2 was born since child #1 has always been super active. (Baby #3 is coming in 3 weeks or less, so I'll definately be using a sling again!)

Just adjust it so its kinda low and away from your body. Then you can pull the straps to secure it more when you are done. Its kinda clumsy at first, but once you get it, its so convient.
