I am not sure whether I should be happy or sad. I have been sick for 2 days with cold and 2 days ago she was sick but is all better now except for mild nose congestion. This afternoon I felt so out of it that after nursing her when she woke up from the nap I went to sleep for 3 hours. DH took care of her, went with her for a walk and shopping. When I woke up, she saw me and started making hungry noise. I fed her, she spat a bit. Then I decided to clean her nose and she was really unhappy and cried. Usually I offer her booby after that and she calms down but today she refused. She was all happy after as I played with her. Then later she started showing signs of being ready for bed. I tried nursing her, she screamed and didn't want booby. Finally I put her in her crib and turned on her mobile toy. She... started sucking her thumb and went to sleep... :wub:
I know it is great she is self-soothing but for me it is a bit shocking as I realize she is growing up and won't always need me. Awww, I need a hug.
