Do you favor one side over the other?
I favor my left and now my left boob is bigger than my right. It's noticeably different. Even after a feeding when they're both drained, the left is still bigger! When I stop breastfeeding, do you think it will change?
Ever since I first noticed (maybe a month ago) I've been trying to nurse on my right more, but I dont notice any change....

I'm lopsided!

i do! i always start with my right boob and end with my left. i have tried to change it up but he won't fall asleep off of the right. so when i pump at work, i double pump and always get more milk from the right.

My left is def. a lot bigger than my right. It wasn't like that in the beginning but more so the past three months or so

I don't favor any boob though my right one produces more and has stronger let down hence she sometimes spends more time on the left one. There was a thread about this issue, may be it went to page 2 or 3?

My right side has been bigger since I started BFing. It doesn't produce more though- weird. I usually try to start on the left but it never did even out the size. I really hope both are the same size after I stop BFing!

Not sure if it is the same for everyone as this is our first. But a friend of mine favored one side, and she says one side is totally bigger then the other. Her son is 22 months and weaned. So much that she has to wear an insert in her bra to even them out. I am not sure if this us usual.

I am more of a day night favorer. :) Right side is day booby. Left is night booby. Only because its easier during night feeding to nurse to sleep on left to be able to put him back to bed. But sometimes I nurse both side during the day.

I favored my right side cause it was easier to hold him, but you need to be adamant about nursing on both sides. While the lopsidedness will shrink down, it more than likely wont go away permanently. My right side ended up getting a little bigger but then i specifically nursed off my left for a few months and now theres barely a difference. You have to do both sides.

It sounds like I'll be lopsided forever then!!! Hmm unless I get a boob job someday....

I'm going to start every feeding with my right side.....hoping that will make a difference!

Righty is bigger, has stronger letdown (leaks) but produces less milk! Lefty is a true friend, she produces like a champ!

For a long time My right was slightly bigger. It produced more and had an even stronger let down. So ds preferred my left. LOL So I started feeding him only on the left at night and then pumping the right in the morning. And during the day I feed on both sides equally. It's been working for me. Now both sides are the same. Unless he eats on one side and not the other. LOL

I'm going to the pool tomorrow so I tried on my bikini today,Im busting out of my left side and my right is swimming in fabric....They are a full cup size different for sure! I seriously hate this! I need to find some sort of bra pad that will stick...
I deserve it though, without even thinking I nursed Arielle three times in a row on my left side last night. I didn't even think about it, its so automatic.
I need to make a more conscious effort!

My daughter is 1 and 1/2 yrs old and breastfed until about 4 months ago when my pregnancy hormones kicked in and totally ended my milk supply. So I have had some time now where I haven't been breastfeeding and when my breasts have gone back to somewhat normal. My right side was a little bigger when I was breastfeeding, and even though they both got smaller, it has stayed that way. Now that Junior is due any day now, though, they seem to have become a bigger equal size again, so I'm wondering if this time around will be any different. Maybe then I'll have the chance to even them out!
