I am feeling so much better in my bathing suit! I wore it all afternoon and dh could hardly keep his hands off my butt. :eyeroll: He just kept rubbing it and telling me how good it looked. :laugh: But I really needed to hear that b/c I'd been feeling sort of down after my 3 weeks off.....:eyebrow:

I will use this Tuesday's WI as my final May Weight So let's pray I can lose what I gaines on Vacation and then another 3.3 by tuesday! I dought I will. Swim Suit Pics to come... Cathrine where are those pics you promised.

a) No added sugar

Well I maintained today at my weigh in. So I was 0.5 lbs away from the May goal. :( but I guess that's close enough!

I dont know if I can do no process foods for an entire month?? It probably would help in my weight loss though. Give me your thoughts and ideas on how to stay process-less. :)

Yea, i dont think I can do it either. But I will stick with losing 7.5 lbs in June again and trying to look better in my bathing suit. Which I guess is the May challenge, but oh well.

I suppose my WW packaged meals are processed. What if we just tried to limit it? Like, instead of something processed, have a peice of fruit.

Maybe we could do a chose something non processed over a processed snack at least once a day, or something?

Doing something "hard" is supposed to be part of the challenge, yes?? Stepping outside that comfort zone, pushing your mind and body to do something that you are not used to.

Well I don't know really. It's just what is there is what I have to eat, I can't afford to go get new or different stuff even if it's cheaper of the same price. It's just shopping without the "need" so that won't be happening in my house.

Ok Jenny I need your help with this!!! When you say no proccesd food that means pretty much all fress foods right? So what about cheese? I was buying the Kraft natural cheese and it taste just fine but I don't like the bag its in (or at least thats what I think is causing the mushy textrure it gets a few days after its been opened). Also every other week or so I make Mac and cheese for Morgan is there a way to do this with out having processed food?

I know I can't go all month with NO processed foods but I think I can come pretty close and I can at least cut down on it and am also trying to cut out HFCS but boy howdy its amazing what all has HFCS!

Honestly I can't either. I'm living with my inlaws who do the cooking & grocery shopping.. & my DF is jobless come Friday lol so no money to buy our own groceries. .. & were flying out to Indiana in a few weeks for the *gasp* wedding lol. it's giong to be a nutty month

I guess you could make the processed food thing as stringent or lax as you like, eh? What's processed to me may not be what's processed to you. Practically everything I eat is processed in some fashion, except for the CSA & the raw milk we pick up each week. Even the meat we buy at the co-op from a local, natural farm, has been processed in some way. But there's obviously a difference between meat that is shaped like a dinosaur and meat that still somewhat resembles a dead animal. There's a difference between a bowl of simple granola cereal and a bowl of Froot Loops. Maybe if you can't cut out all processed foods, list a few that you'll abstain from. Like no soda, hot dogs, or fast food?

My personal goal for this month is to not eat out at all. Not even a little. :) So far, so good. We did go to an amusement park on Mon and I had a slice of pizza, so maybe I blew it already on the first of the month? :) I'm going to say no, though. Really it starts right now. Also since I go in six month spurts with buying food storage, I have a lot of stored food we need to eat in the next month or two, so I'm working our menu from that. Should be interesting. ;)

Don't be, it's still not quite where it should be. The split in the skirt is a little so spread apart and the tankini top could come down some more.

I don't know about you, but sweets are my weakness...

Maybe we could have a challenge where we cut out most sweets for the entire month, ie: cookies, candy, cake, BROWNIES! (sorry, I was yelling at myself-they are my weakness) and ICECREAM! (sorry, my other weakness).

Maybe we could do two sets of challenges. One for those who have been doing this for a while and the other for those who have just started (or started over from a break). I think talking about cutting out processed foods and such is a little overwhelming for someone who just started. My pp with a suggestion to cut out most sweets is probably something a lot of you have already done, but for those who just started it might be a good challenge for us.

I will weigh in tomorrow and update.

I really want to lose 7.5 lbs before the end of this month. Right now I think most of my skirts are at a 20. Some shirts are 14/16 others are 18/20. No more jumping around...I want my shirts to be a 14/16 and skirts to be a solid 18...darn hips!

So...

My starting weight - 213.4 (lost 1.3 lbs, total weight loss in 2 weeks 4.9 :hooray:)
End of July Goal - 205.9
Size goal - shirts: 14/16, skirts: 18

We can do this!!!
