gas again

I know there have been some threads about gas, but I am at my wits end. The last 3 nights DS has been such a restless sleeper. I'm thinking some of it may be due to gas since I hear him tooting. I a creature of habit, so I doubt I've added any new foods to his diet. He's 3 months old and never had gas like this before. I thought babies' dogestive systems were supposed to get better and be better able to handle food. I really need a cure for his gas since he's not getting restful sleep, and I haven't gotten sleep in a few days :crazy:

Any ideas?

Also, if mom is gassy, does that mean baby will be gassy?

Is there something that happens in the third month??? My dd has been extremely gassy lately, today she even screamed for 30mins cuz of it, my poor baby :( I am like you, I haven't eaten or drank anything different lately. Can they suddenly get food sensitivities? How often does your LO poop?

he is pooping a lot less frequently! 1-3 times a day

Must be something about their age, because Sydney started having trouble a couple of weeks ago. I've ordered some probiotics to try, and if that doesn't help I'll try dairy elimination for 2 weeks.

It is weird that the gas trouble started suddenly and has been every night since. Sydney also started pooping less frequently about that time, so maybe it's related to that.
