So today our babysitter told me that he refused to eat the last bottle. Whatever went in his mouth he spit out. I'm hoping it was just what I ate for lunch yesterday (stuff very different from my normal). Am I nuts? is this normal? It was just awful to throw out 5oz of milk.

I hope it was just what you ate that day. IDK though. Sorry you had to throw it out. That's never any fun.

My DS was also refusing the bottle after taking one very easily from DH. I found what worked is to hold him as if he was being breastfed. DH even uses my nursing pillow and holds him the same way. It worked! DH had been holding him completely different. It's funny because DS will nurse in any position, but now will only take the bottle in one way.

The weird thing is that he took the other two bottles just fine. They were all pumped the same day. I'm just hoping it was the third pumping after lunch and it was the crap I ate that bothered him. It was stuff that I really shouldn't have eaten.
I'm just so tired and frustrated right now.

This may sound weird, but maybe he just wasn't hungry? You know how sometimes adults skip meals? How has he been since then? But I do understand - it sucks to throw out that much... Our daycare provider had to toss 3 oz that BJ didn't finish the other day :pokey:

He's been teething something wicked. It could be that. Who knows, but he did eat all three bottles today.
