I had my yearly pap today (yes, yes, lovely) and remembered why I love my doctor so much. I'm going to be sad to leave him!

Doc: when was your last period?
Me: Umm... I haven't had one since Griffin was born.
Doc: *blank stare*.... so what, 14 months now?
Me: Yup.
Doc: Are you on birth control?
Me: No.
Doc: *another blank stare*... are you pregnant? [only half joking here]
Me: No.
Doc: Are you still breastfeeding?
Me: [starting to get that nervous feeling] Um... yes...
Doc: :shocker: REALLY?!
Me: [nods, just waiting for the lecture]
Doc: WOW! That is so awesome! What a good momma! Congratulations, I am impressed!

:hooray::hooray::hooray: I wish he would sit down and have a talk with my nincompoop pediatrician. :eyeroll:

congrats on 14 months!! not sure how long i will hold out, but that deserves a huge pat on the back!!
