Tessa's been not well today and I can't understand whether she is teething or having slight cold. I was just wondering what you all think it could possibly be. Here are the symptoms:
- drooling like crazy. We change at least 10 bibs a day
- always gnawing on her fingers, bibs, burp towels and even her blanket
- has a slight fever of 99F or so (today is the 1st day)
- wants to nurse all the time
- very sleepy (also only today)
- quite fussy but still tries to smile
- has stuffy and runny nose (started last night)
- coughs from choking on drool
- poops like crazy (today also)

I have been giving her Tylenol for babies today (once every 4-6 hours), using saline and aspirator. If she is not showing any signs of improvement, off we go first thing in the morning to see pedi.

She sounds like she has a cold to me. :hugs: I hope she gets better quickly.

it sounds like it could be either one. 3 months is young to teethe but its not uncommon at all. it could be the start of a cold...and the reason I say that is because "tis the season" and everyone I know, including my family has some sort of cold.
it sounds like your doing everything you can. hope she feels better soon.

Thanks. It is 3.23am now and she so far doesn't feel warm as yesterday and breathes fairly well with her nose. Let's see what morning brings.

It is definitely cold cause I got it as well - I woke up at 3am with sore throat and was feeling a bit feverish this morning so DH took her out for a 2 hour walk and I slept. She is fine today, no fever, happy and her usual self. Nose congestion is also nearly gone.
