I don't remember how long mine lasted. But they were a b****. LOL The cramping is also worse when you've had your second and third.

I think the amount of time and intensity of the cramping varies by the person. Nursing releases hormones that cause the cramping. This is a big help newly post partum when your uterus needs to shrink back down but can be annoying over time. Personally, I don't much notice the cramps and didn't after a the first couple of weeks. Have you had a follow-up with your OB and did everything look ok then? If they continue to be really painful, I would give your OB a call and see if they would like to check on you again.

This felt like it would feel if you had the stomach flu but I don't. It still hurts a little but much better. Other wise I have fet okay. This is my sixth baby but the first time I am BF 100%.

I think your uterus is still shrinking back into place and the cramping should go away soon.

Yes. The first little while it was awful. I had to do labor breathing techniques while pumping (preemie, had to pump not nurse). Everytime I got on the elevator to go see him I'd cramp up.
