for absoultuely no reason.
i heard cate fussing after a two hour nap. i glanced at the video montior-that shows the enitre crib-AND SHE WASN'T IN THERE. :shocker::shocker:
Having not slept in three nights since she has started scooting(and since k got the chouse on fire last night)-WHILE FULLY SWADDLED-face down (no more swaddled) up to the corner of the crib.
I RAN UP TWO FLIGHTS OF STAIRS JUMPING FIVE AT A TIME. and rushed to her room. she wasn;t in the crib-so i scanned the room, with phone and had and calling 911. i knew she couldn't hear-because i knew she had sustained a major head injury. so i got on all fours and started crwaling and scraming bloody murder. while phone on floor.
i ddin't see her. i knew she had made it to the stairs and was about to roll down them and die.
so i crwaled -tried to stand up and fell back on all floors.
then, i remembered that she was at the sitters.
i am crazy. seriously crazy.

Oh boy! You need some sleep. I've panicked once in the car and thought I had left my baby at home and drove all the way back and didn't find him and realized as i picked up the phone to call 911 that my mother had taken him with her for the day. OMG I was a total wreck the rest of the day over the fear of it happening.

Oh man..we all have moments like that, just not that intense lol. I remember one time i was with DBF at a gas station as we were headed to a date, and i went out to get gas and i looked in the backseat to see my boy..and the terrifying fear came over me..that he wasnt there. I freaked out and told DBF "OMG WE FORGOT KAEL"..and hes like..uhm sweety? Your parents are watching him and we're going to the movies...:truce:

Poor mama :hugs: How scary. Thank goodness you realized where she was. I think it's a right of passage to have a freak out moment about the location of your kids and then realize you are crazy. One time we were at the mall and I saw a man pushing an identical stroller to Hannah's and my heart dropped b/c it was empty. I scanned looking for my baby only to realize she was sleeping in her stroller, the one I was holding onto. See....we all have :crazy: mom moments.

You...step away from the computer, turn off the phones and go to sleep.
We do not want to see you logged back on for at least 5-6 hours. Everything else can wait.
Sleepy time for mommy :sleepy::sleepy:

Oh no, poor you. I have these mini-panics whenever I'm in the car and I look up and don't see babies in the back. Since I work three days a week, it happens on a pretty regular basis.
Is there anything you can do to ensure you can get some rest? She will just start moving more and more, so as long as her crib is a safe environment, she should be able to move around in it without it causing you major anxiety. If that doesn't work, maybe you could move it into your bedroom so you can keep a closer eye on her. I know you have just recently gotten some sleep issues resolved, so I wish you the best of luck in getting more sleep soon!

Take her to the sitter's, and go to sleep. Before you go to sleep though post a note on your door, the monitor and anywhere else you might look that says she's at the babysitters. Maybe you should even date your little notes! I'd just think "oh how dumb of me, that's an old note! she's gone!!" and then go crazy anyhow.

Aw, you def. need a good night's sleep!
When Madison was about a month old, we were running errands and I stopped at one of those outdoor ice cream places to get a treat. I think it was the first time I went out with her when it was just the two of us. After I finished my cone and started driving toward home, I kept checking the rearview mirror to make sure I remembered to put her in the backseat. For some reason immediately after I checked and saw her there, I started panicking again that I forgot her at the ice cream place. So I'd check again. It's a wonder I made it home without rear-ending somebody!

Just wanted to share this-- I'm sick and was home alone with Josh so I asked my inlaws to come get him for the day. I went to bed. A couple hours I woke up in a panic because I thought I fell asleep with Josh still in the house.
