Calcium + vitamin D.

I've also heard that Magnesium should be added to the above combo. :)

I got AF back at about a year. The first supply dip was the worst. After that, they got much more manageable, maybe b/c I was taking the calcium, D, and Magnesium.

I've already had 1 AF which I was really sad about :( and she's due again soon...can I take the cal, vit d & mag combo in addition to my pre-natal I'm still taking or is that ott?

I take my prenatal plus 1200mg of calcium (though sometimes it is only 600), 800 mg of D (sometimes only 400), plus magnesium. I'm no doctor, but I haven't had any problems. Too much calcium can cause kidney stones, but I think you need a propensity for them.

Thanks Cassandra :) Alex: I've only read it on here, something about the hormones can cause a supply dip but I don't know if everyone experiences it or not...I just don't wanna take any chances cuz I have no freezer stash and pumping is not my friend!

I was just wondering because I started a couple days ago, and at the same time, she is going through a growth spurt so she is wanting to nurse all the time. and I have not noticed a dip tho. But I am watching out, I am going to start eating oatmeal. Thanks

I don't know if it causes dips for everyone, but it does for me, and it has for other people on APA.

Does it go back up when AF goes away?

In my experience it has. The worst drop was my first AF, and that was probably close to a week. Since then, it is about 3 days.
