I'd like to buy a breast pump for baby #2 with our income tax money. Can anyone recommend a good electric double sided one? I don't want to spend too much on it.

Lansinoh Double Electric. It rocked! I EPed for about 4 1/2 months and used it for about 4-6 hours a day. It was way cheaper than the PIS and seemingly has the same effectiveness. Also, the way the milk is collected made me like it better. There was no way to have contamination with in the machine from BM.

I work f/t and have a Lansinoh and love it. Gets me as much or more as I got with the PIS with my older son.

I have the Medela PIS, but have heard the Lansinoh are great (above :) ). Just wanted to add - check with your insurance to see if they cover any pump expenses. Mine ended up covering mine 100%!! I was so excited - but that's what influenced my decision to get the Medela.

I think most double electrics are really expensive anyway. My Swing alone (single electric) was $200 :eyeroll: Mindy, are you going to breastfeed number 2??
