double jogging strollers

Any recommendations? Do they fold down? What features are a necessity?

Totally recommend a BOB revolution duallie. I don't have one yet, but that is my next big purchase. I have talked to several moms that have them and they love it...I have pushed on around with my kids in it and it is SO light and pushes like a dream...the only down side to it is that it doesn't fit inside clothing stores very well, but goes through doors fine. Also I recommend the $19.99 handlebar console that is at the bottom of that page. I have an accord and it folds and fits in my trunk with no problem...that was my biggest worry, but it fits!! Can you tell I'm so excited about this stroller. I have a single Baby Jogger that I like, but the BOB just rolls so much better! i'll second the BOB. I don't have one, but in my stroller strides class there are a few mom's that do... and they are WAY better than the others. With other joggers, you will have to buy multiple strollers because they are soooo flimsy and fall apart. The BOB will NEVER do that! Also- order online, and most of the time you don't have to pay tax or shipping.

I third the BOB! I have a single Revolution and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it... it's nice because the front wheel pivots when you want it to (to get around tight spaces), but then locks into place for jogging. My friend has the duallie and loves it too. They are SO well-made, light and comfortable to push. They are pricey though... but mine's been worth every penny to me.

I have a "cheap" one and like it just fine. I don't run every day and got this one. Works just fine for our needs. There was no need for me to spend 500ish dollars on a double stroller.

I had a Schwinn double jogger. It was nice. Only downfall was no cup holders and it didn't fold down that great.

This is pretty much the one I had, though in different colors. My mom bought it for me after Ella was born.

My SIL has the baby trentd and likes it a lot. I have the singular (on my 2nd one..wanted one with a tray) and love it. I run 4-5 miles a day (in the summer) with it.

4-5 miles? I wish I could do that. I'm at 2.

Oh and Cass the one I sent a link to does have a tray and folds down. I honestly dno't like taking them though. If I can get away with it I leave them at home. Its still hard to push something and run (for me)

I ended up getting a single Baby Trend. Lorelai wouldn't sit in the stroller anyway, she likes to run with me (she can run a full two miles!! Definitely takes after Daddy!). Once she's in school I'll only be running with G and I'd feel stupid pushing around a double stroller with only one kid in it. :laugh:
